Long answer: I don't mind people using flying for megabuilds, large redstone constructions, or for tutorial purposes. If you need to get big things done faster then I understand. I built a Cathedral once and climbing it all the time sucked. And no one wants to watch a 5 minute tutorial if more than 30 seconds of it is spent climbing around everything.

This post by some random guy on the internet has changed how I think about this subject. I'm gonna stop playing my pirated version of minecraft and just wait it out until I have the means to buy it myself. I was gonna buy it eventually anyways but what I am doing is extremely evil and it must stop nomatter what. Also, I'm so glad he's totally not a troll trying to spark a flame war between Pirates and the people against pirating.

I started playing SMP with my friends. But that's only with 2 or 3, sometimes 4 people who I know won't grief. And since I run the server they know I can blow up their entire base with 100's of TNT blocks if they mess with me. I would never do such a thing, but they don't know that.
Other than that I usually play on my legit single player world.
Yeah people always say how time consuming it is to build one but this didn't actually take me very long. Especially since it's a pretty simple and symmetrical castle.
I had like 2 large chests of cobble, so I started building this huge ass castle for my next building project. The 2 walls to the back and left side aren't done, and there's nothing inside the walls yet.
Hell yeah got some big wooden gates up in this *****.
