I haven't stolen any textures from anyone else. I made all of these myself, but i would like to know which textures you think have been stolen, and from where.
For the first one, I wasn't aiming for ANY of the texturing to look too good, it wasn't suppose to be about that, just how I imagine the game to look. Now as for the grass, I can lighten it if I get a few more comments about it. ;-)
I downloaded it and checked it out (I have a creative superflat world with every Minecraft item in order to check texture packs). 1st of all, you might wanna add "WIP" on the title.

Personally I didn't like it all too much. I don't like how the cobblestone looks since it seems too "tidy" for an item that is mined and it has too many similarities with the stone brick (practically same texture). The 2nd thing that I don't like is the color of smooth and chiseled sandstone... why this choice? I think you might need to work on the ore textures a bit more as well. Diamond and Redstone look great, Coal is decent but the rest make me feel as if you were bored and you just wanted to get done with them. The Dark Oak planks are too light colored as well for a dark wood product. A little more work on the tools as well wouldn't be bad as they look kinda too plain at the moment. The Iron Bars and the chests could use a little more "love" as well.
Of course this is just a personal opinion, someone else might like it the way it is. I didn't add pictures as I am bored of uploading at the moment but I guess I was pretty clear with the ones I didn't like
I've always wanted a Resource Pack that I could call my theme of Pack; a Pack that describes who I am as a fellow Minecrafter and how I imagine the game looking as I play, so I created just that. Welcome to DescentCraft! This Resource Pack features a Native Pack resolution that is one of my best made so far. More screenshots will be uploaded as this is WIP, but please do enjoy what I have done for now, as more will be added eventually. Due to the many custom animations and Smooth Lighting this Pack holds, I suggest launching MCPatcher before you play with DescentCraft, although Optifine will work as well until Random Mobs are added.
