Thanks I know about torches on a certain side of the wall, wool and jack 'o' lanterns. I wanted sort of like tips that would help me with exploring mineshafts and deciding which way to go in gigantic caves. But these tips are still pretty good but could you guys and girls not post obvious stuff like the torches and wool. Thanks again.
Well, first off, unlike many other people, I don't bother marking where I've been, but the common suggestion is to place torches on the same side as you go, so you can easily follow them back (e.g. right side as you go in, so they'll be on the left as you go out). Of course, this doesn't work well when you have caves that branch all over the place and are so dense there really aren't any clear passages, plus it doesn't effectively light up the area to prevent mob spawns (the caves I explore are really so huge that there is no comparison at all to vanilla caves, as in this example; despite that I rarely get lost and explore perhaps 90% of all passages before going on, as this screenshot taken in spectator mode shows).
Also I have seen that post on that giant cave system but I don't want to play it because its on 1.6.4.
I've been messing around on youtube and stuff about caving. So does anyone know any caving tips tricks and overall cool stuff to do with caving, getting ores, and possibly abandoned mineshafts? This is also slightly directed at MasterCaver.
So I've been enchanting SO MANY PICKAXES! From level 30 books to level 30 picks! I can not get Fortune!!! Does anybody know how to get the Fortune (I, II, or III) enchantment? Please Help!
