Now we have a nice and shiny forum to go with the server... This should help streamline some of the problems.

To add about the amount of players,

There are more players than myself... They just weren't listed.

It is a pretty good server, the mods and the admins are friendly, and I have never had any problems other than griefers. But that is a problem for every server. And even when stuff is stole or messed with, the mods are quick to get it sorted out and give you your stuff back.

But I do have to say this... Don't be a d*ck. Don't spam the chat with "Turn on hostile mobs!!!" or just going around f-ing peoples stuff up. If you act like a human being, you'll be treated like one.

P.S. Aw, Pwn... I'm respected AND feared? I'm luck to just get one. :biggrin.gif:

I was kinda wondering why Blanzer was OP'd... But meh. I like the server and have been a member for a while. The OPs and Admins have been nothing but helpful to me, so I don't see why some people are complaining.

We really need a website or a private forum. That would be awesome!

I think you mean a "Backpack".

But as far as Fortresscraft goes... I haven't played it and I probably won't. I mean, what Microsoft did was a genius move. They are going after the 12-18 year old market that don't own or know anything about computer gaming and have parents with cash to burn.

I was discussing this with a friend of mine who is a long time WoW player, and he said whats probably going to happen is this game will come out and be one of two things: A.) A total flop and only make Minecraft look better by comparison, or B.) It will pull the 12 year olds who have X-Box Live and THEN die off after the set 7 chapters of it...

But in both cases it will probably cause an awakening in Notch, one that will cause him to sweat a little bit. Because it is a very, very large company flexing its muscles saying "We made your ENTIRE game in less time than you have, and we have done everything you have... And so." Now I'm not saying that Notch will sue, but it would be pointless. Outside of the lawyers and crazy amount of cash Microsoft has to rip Mojang apart, they can easily hide behind the "indie production" portion of their company... Saying they had no idea that it was a rip-off of, what game did you say it was again?

But, my friend and I did come to the same conclusion: Notch should sell Mojang to the highest bidder or at least Minecraft and get some company backing. If he was to sell to Activision or Blizzard, it would only strengthen his game.

And before the nerd rages start kicking up, this is only mine and my friend's opinion. And I did discuss this for about 4 hours... So it wasn't a like, "OH! NOTCH IZ GUNNA SEL TA BLIZZURD!" sort of thing. But it would be a logical thing for Notch to do. Get his while he can, and before it dies off.

However, I think Notch cares too much about Minecraft to just had it off... No matter what. Be it for creative control or the money... But caring that much might be the downfall of it.

I had the same problem, I mean... You can only build houses and bases for so long before it becomes tedious. I tried the 404 Challenge. That was the most epic thing ever, you might want to go and try some of the challenges that have been posted.

Or if you play on easy or normal, force yourself to play on hard. That might help if you don't like challenge "modes".

This will also give webs a reason for being in the game and make beaches/ gravel pits much more dangerous.

That is a good point, how CAN you ignite something with the use of a furnace?

You need a furnace to make a campfire, and by that point you'll already have torches. I like the concept, but it is one of those things that are not quite right for Minecraft.

A unique idea... But I feel like the lava rain is a bit much. Maybe embers falling from the ash cloud...

Wasn't there a suggestion for saddlebags for horses? (...God only knows when they will be added.)

And I agree, we already have a "backpack".
