I've had so far:
Skeletons dropping bones, arrows, and bows
Zombies dropping rotten flesh, iron swords, iron helmets
I'll add more as I test.

'Farlanders' just sounds so freaking cheesy. I mean, 'Endermen' really isn't much of an improvement over it, but its suppose to be a reference... If /v/ is soooo upset about there being a f*cking parody of Slenderman, then why not petition Blizzard to remove all their references and parodies from WoW... Or any other company that likes to make an obvious references to popular media.
Yeah, its a bit of, "... Wow. He made a parody creature instead of making something crazy original." But creativity sometimes runs dry or its hurried. - To post a comment, please login.

Another post completely devoid of meaningful contemplation on the Suggestion forums... What a rarity.
EDIT: I would probably wait for female characters and NPCs, oh, AND A RELIGION before adding in gay marriage and all that jazz. And as seeing how Notch has stated Minecraft will be religion-free, (like Scientology, ba-zing!) you're SOL. As soon as female characters are added, the player can decide if the avatar will be gay or straight... So, your suggestion is invalidated and trollish.

I think it looks pretty good, myself. :biggrin.gif:

I'm 22, and it took me FOREVER to find a server where the Admins weren't whiny 12 year olds. But even then, after being on the server for months and creating friendly relationships, hell, even becoming a Mod the Admins just decide to become flaming a**holes.
So, maturity doesn't come from age, as I can attest. However, this has sorely affected the servers I will play on, if at all.
In summation:
All People Suck.

But a different use for materials in game would be nice, so I'm going to try to make this suggestion at least semi-possible just for the lawls of it. :biggrin.gif:
First, you need a recipe:
= Bow
This is called a Bow Fire Drill, it works just like rubbing two sticks together; But you get the job done A LOT faster than by creating friction by-hand.
I believe something like this would be more on the line of Minecraft-ish items, rather than two sticks... At least this requires some skill to make. And for the hell of it, once the item is used up, it turns into a normal bow. Also, it should have a lot less uses than Flint and Steel... Maybe half or less.
So, we have 1.) Easy to make, 2.) Refillable, 3.) Less uses than Flint and Steel for balance. But the whole point is really moot when you realize that the Flint and Steel is just fine and Torches are NOT going to go out. (They why did I post... Meh. I was bored.) :biggrin.gif:

All of that, and TNT doesn't move unless you ignite it. It really only has one purpose and that is the "mining under a base and OH CRAP!!!"... But I see your guys point-of-view on it.
DJBrooks: I didn't want to go the route of "nuke". I've seen those threads on here and I wanted something different. If you take a look at some of the Bomb threads, they all sound about the same as the Nuke threads... And I definitely didn't want that. Nukes really are out of touch with, what I feel, is the spirit of Minecraft.
RiotMaster51: I might work on that, now that you mention it. I would like to see a directional blast. Heck, the idea might even replace the Drop Bomb on the list! :biggrin.gif:
I would like to thank all of you for such wonderful posts. They are opinions and no one is trolling. This right here is what the Suggestion Forum should be. :biggrin.gif:

This is a single idea that has 3 different routes you can take:
Unfused Bomb
Fused Bomb
Drop Bomb
Lets start with the base item, the Unfused Bomb.
This item uses one TNT block surrounded by Iron Ingots. The Unfused Bomb is one and 1/4 blocks high and does more damage than a regular TNT block. The blast and damage radius is similar to that of a Charged Creeper and it takes about 2 seconds longer to explode when ignited... However, the best feature I think about this block is that it CAN BE MINED!
That's right, if you misplace this block you CAN mine it to pick it back up... However, there is a drawback for being able to pick it up. You can only ignite it with a Redstone circuitry/ levers/ buttons/ etc. Now that doesn't seem to bad with all the perks, but what if you can't get to Redstone and you are itching to use a Bomb...
Well that takes us to the second item, the Fused Bomb.
Just like the Unfused Bomb, the Fused Bomb has radius and damage stats similar to a Charged Creeper, can be mined and picked up... However, you can only ignite it with Flint and Steel. (Hence the 'fused' part) But just like regular TNT, if an adjacent block is on fire and spreads to the Fused Bomb, it will go off... So be careful when using.
And now to the last item on the list, the Drop Bomb.
The Drop Bomb has the same stats as the above two, however, it has a built in ignition system... A Stone Pressure Plate. The Drop Bomb is similar to Sand and Gravel in the respect that it follows gravity. You can go to a high ledge and click to place it, and just like Sand it will fall. But when it lands the pressure plate is activated and it will explode on contact.
But what makes this block tricky is that if you place it on ground level WITHOUT it falling, it will stand there... Unignited. Now, it will act as an inversed land-mine, with pressure plate on the bottom. It will still activate if you jump on it, which I don't recommend; But it will also fall down if you mine the block supporting it.
Combine some of these blocks with a Piston mod and literally, BOOM! :biggrin.gif:

If your inventory is full, ANY items that can't be picked up cause a crazy "I'm trying to go into your inventory, but can't" clicking noise. Image a popping sound on speed and that is the sound...
Oh, and the photo doesn't quite capture what happens. The items that can't be picked up create long chains of that item in the picking up animation... Kinda like the tail feature on cursors... Just more annoying.
EDIT: Nevermind. This bug was fixed in 1.6.2... Which happened minutes ago. :blink.gif:
