posted a message on Reika's Mods (Tech, WorldGen, Civilization, and more)
Reika it seems as though your mods (unfortunately I didn't check which one exactly but I'll put the list in the spoilers below) have some sort of compatibility issues with either the Universal Electricity core mod, Calclavia core mod or the resonant induction mod set. This is not one where it crashes the game as far as I know but rather whenever I try to play a world it says it loads then roots back to Minecraft's title screen then if I try again my game just stops and continues to say not responding making the game unable to play or crash making a report hard to get.
The list of your mods I was using and their versions as well as the other mods I was attempting to play with

    DragonAPI v20e
    RotaryCraft v20e
    Eletricraft V20d
    ReactorCraft V20e
    ExpandedRedstone V20d
    Geostrata V20d
    LegacyCraft V20
    MeteorCraft V20
    VoidMonster V20

    Other mods
    Optifine HD U C8
    Village Taverns 2.1.6-2.14
    UniversalElectricity core 3.1.0.74
Rival Rebels 1.6.4H (I guess this could also be a problem due to it's experimental nature)
    Resonant Induction 0.3.331
    Openblock 1.2.7
    NEI 1.6.1.8
    Extra Utilities 1.0.3a
    Code Chicken Core 0.9.07
    Calclavia core 1.1.1.286
    Buildcraft 4.2.2
    Atomic science 1.0.0.1.6.4
    ForgeMultipart
    McHeli

Hmm. I'm surprised no one has made some sort of mod to allow you to move GUIs around... That's a shame.

Sounds like you are hinting at something but I have no idea what it is.

How do we change the position of the HUD? It interferes with minimap and other HUD items

You don't unless you make a custom texture for it. Also just change the positions of the other HUD stuff you have if it allows.

Edit: never mind about changing the texture thing you'll have to change the position of the other HUD elements you are using if possible.

I like the idea of this mod, and I'm sure it's awesome for multiplayer pvp.

But I'm finding that surviving against grunts and elites spawning in the wild is rather difficult if you haven't built mjolnir yet. The rate of fire and knockback involved makes it next to impossible to close to melee range with anything.

Actually elites and grunts only spawn in forest biomes and their equivalents so just don't build near those and you should be fine.

I like the mod and all BUT the firing rate on some guns are WAY too slow then the one in the actual game. 1.) The needler needs to explode when the needs hit something. 2.) The dmr, rocket launcher, assault rifle, and battle rifle fire too slow.

You and me both. Except for the needeler thing.

    Hmm. Interesting conjecture.
However, it just serves to annoy, not to smoothen the complaint...

Unfortunately I although I believe this may make people think of me as a hypocrite I have to agree with your point.

    Hmm.
    Interesting.
Every time someone complains about a mod on a forum, they always add a shallow compliment to the end.
"I liek yur mod but i thnk race selection definitily shd be added and the uruks need to fight orcs sometimes BTW LUV THE MOD!!!!"
    Why do people do this?

Actually I have noticed that as well. But none the less no idea why but right now my theory is that it is a thought process of bad news first sort of thing.

In update 0.6.3 I can indeed see that you have increased the rate of fire for the automatic weapons and I really appreciate what you have done with them I still think they are too slow and there are of course the semi autos and the BR that need to be re adjusted. But my opinion right now is that the smg's current rate of fire should be the assault rifle's and the assault rifle's the sniper rifle's or shotgun's and you know where I am going with this. BTW now a compliment. Nice grunt model very well done.

Thanks for informing me, dropbox seems to keep changing the way you post public links. The other two links were not put up by me, so I can't fix them right now...

Aaaaaand thanks to the buggy topic editor that broke the last post, the topic now looks horrible. It's sort of fixed, back in BB Code format, but I'll have to clean up tomorrow.

Edit: the download is fixed now though, right? I'm 90% sure the dl is fixed. Technology doesn't always love me... :(

Don't worry I just downloaded the update. BTW nice techno.

phew. It's 10 o'clock on a sunday, but the update has been released! The ISP tried to keep me down, but it couldn't! Well, it did slow me down a day. I apologize the update is so late. The pack has obviously been on a bit of a hiatus. However, I have arranged my day to spend more time on it, so let's hope updates come out every week, instead of every other month. So without further ado, the features!
    • Record music
If you made it through the list of features, I'd like to say that we have more sounds that will soon be in the update, and that'll come soon. But for now, enjoy techno and 40's, my brothers!
Please tell me if something isn't working

Yep the download give a 403 error.

Ok, here's the REAL new iron block texture.

Layered rusty sheet metal. It uses a large repeat ctm sheet, with a few randomized tiles to add vents and drains and such, but only on the walls. The flooring is just plain metal.

This is pretty much what i wanted iron blocks to be from the beginning, but didn't have the skill to pull off.

Those rivets... those things took forever. I had to manually place each one, and there must be thousands.

This + A bit or creativity and elbow grease= steampunk spaceship!

There's a pi button in the top right of the GUI, if you click it it will open the mad science wiki.

@DeWolf: That is awesome! Glad to hear about the magazine loading facility, sounds like that previous problem is long gone now ;)
As for the CnC machine we will have a list of every type of part that it can create on the wiki once I actually get a chance to write it up. Right now working on sound effects for the machine as I write this. Like codebracker0 mentioned the little pi symbol in the upper right corner of every GUI will provide you a link directly to the wiki in your default browser.

I just thought the pi symbol was just an aethstetic.
P.S. The reason why I said check to see if the book thing works is because in build 135 I was about to do my first test of the announcement system as soon as I inserted a written book my game crashed. I was going to see if that happens still. Also considering a CnC machine can cut almost any material into particular parts I can foresee compatibility although probably less effecient than doing it by hand work with tinkerer's construct. (Hmm being able to get an iron hammer before even getting a smeltery going)

Sorry there has been such a delay, I hope to release a lot of sounds tomorrow, which I believe include music and gun sounds!

Will there be a guide or something on the encoding of books for the CnC machine?
Edit: Yes I am messing around with nightly builds still. Its just too much fun messing around with the new stuff. (I made a whole magazine loading facility in my base) But with the question above now I am going to see if this book thing works.
