Crap, both of them are saying that there's 4 people currently playing in the worried but the connection is poor. Then when I try to join I can't and the connection is completely lost for awhile.
Well, it makes sense that with the biome location data actually being saved, that they'd be able to add something like this.
That being said, I doubt that placing a snow block would keep them alive, since the chunk is still telling the game it's to hot there.
Little disclaimer: I have not tested this yet, but it seems fairly logical. :smile.gif:
I tried everything that I could think of and nothing worked. Put them in water, put a roof over their head, enclose them in snow, put them at the very bottom of the map where the hot desert sun will never reach, etc. None of them worked.
I hadn't seen anything regarding this so I figured that I'd mention it here. Last I heard, snow golems didn't create snow in the desert any longer, but they didn't die either.
I was just adding guard towers to my desert village when I found out that the snow golems die in a matter of seconds after being created. Do you think this is intended or just a temporary bug?
I love the idea of making Minecraft more challenging as you go along, but I've had sort of a different idea. It was more to make the game more difficult once you beat the dragon, if you so choose to make it harder. This was my idea:
I think it'd be great if endgame content was added to Minecraft, specifically once you beat the dragon. By that point you've explored the Nether, the End, enchanted weapons and armor, crafted potions and mobs are no match for you. I would love to see the world drastically change once you kill the dragon, sort of like Terraria after defeating the Wall of Flesh.
There would be a chance of a blood moon rising (or something similar) which is when zombies can open doors, skeletons fire flaming arrows, spiders attack both during day and night, Endermen spawn aggressive towards the player and can teleport into their homes if they're within a certain number of blocks, even without the player looking at them, etc.
New mobs could be found as well as the old ones being stronger and spawning in greater numbers. New types of ore would randomly generate in the existing world with powerful new properties which would mean that you would need to begin exploring and mining once again, etc.
For the people that want to keep playing Minecraft the way it was before they killed the dragon they could play on Peaceful or Easy, but for the players that want to experience all the new features in difficulty they could play on Medium or Hard. I think that this would be a great way to add a lot of playability to the game once you've already done everything you can and become an unstoppable killing machine.
Ummm, Zombies opening doors would just be an annoyance, as people would simply replace doors with another block like cobble. And how would an enderman be able to know where your home is.
Endermen would spawn like they normally do, but if they get within a certain number of blocks from your position they will become aggressive even without you looking at them or you having a direct line of sight.
The whole point will to make the game more of a challenge for the people that want it. Sure you could replace your doors with solid blocks, but you could also play on Peaceful or Easy and not have to worry about any of the new difficulties. It would increase the difficulty for people that are looking for the extra challenge and then they'll be forced to create larger and more elaborate homes with traps rather than just a humble box. It would bring the game to a whole new level.

Of all the things people could think of lol "GIANTS" really?
I would have thought Of a more Scary type boss. Like a Megadon Shark (The are the most biggest scary thing on earth and the one that was found was over 100 tons) that is big!! type on google pics of megadon sharks if you don't believe me.
Giants is an okay boss i suppose for a dungon or cave. but water seems to be the only thing in minecraft that is empty and needs something to spice it up abit.
Those sharks have been extinct for millions of years so how did they find one that was over 100 tons?

Yeah, I figured it was intended since it would make sense but I still hadn't heard anything mentioning it nor is it in the wiki.
Looks like my guard towers shall have to go unmanned. :sad.gif:
