So, I recently bought minecraft, and I LOVE it. I have on idea what is so addicting about placing blocks on the ground, but this game is amazing.
However, single player survival mode seems a little boring to me, and kinda horrifying... ( I refuse to make a nether gate alone >.>)
So I was wondering, is there anyone out there with a vent server or access to one that would perhaps like to play on my minecraft server with me? :biggrin.gif: I already have a server set up and a fresh untouched world. I'd like someone experienced who can show a newbie the ropes and what not.

When I play minecraft, in single player, sometimes things I build dissapear from the map, it has happende to me two times, with realy big buildings and it always happened when I get far from the structures, far enough to not be able to see them, and then coming back to find nothing or just a part of the structure. The first time was with a big lighthouse, I went sailing on my boat and when I cameback a big section of the terrain have dissapered togheter with a part of my lighthouse. The second time it happened I was making a castle, everything was going fine, I went out searching for coal, and all that I have build dissapered.
I think I know the reason, every time I build those structures I wanted a flat terrain, but I didn't fill the whole terrain with dirt, I let it hollow, It seems that when the game starts loading that part of the map again it forgets it somehow, and by the way, when it happened with the lighthouse the part it was deleted was more like a big bite, but with the castle it reseted the zone where I built the castle and also it reseted the terrain that I made flat, also the lighthouse dissapered in alpha and the castle in the last beta update.
