Any server worth its overhead uses anti-modding tools. If you, or anyone, really, find this to be a problem, I'd suggest informing the server admins of a hacker and/or changing servers.

The new layout simply makes a lot more sense in terms of where specific forums are located on the page- I especially love the removal of "Gamemodes" and grouping survival and creative subforums with "Discussion."

How did the app change while I was filling it out? o.o'

It says I'm not whitelisted either. I may not be able to get on tonight, because it's getting late.

Tried it out for a little while. Too busy for me; I didn't really like the business of the chat plugins, with all the different colors and whatnot, and it was overall just not vanilla enough for my taste.

Is there a possibility I could talk you in to allowing myself, 15, onto the server? I see many of my fellow players from an earlier server (namely NALD and Ben, who I'm sure could vouch for me if you asked) and I've love to start playing with them again.

Hey guys. Recently our favorite server was shut down due to unfortunate circumstances, and my brother and I are now looking for another vanilla SMP server.

What we're looking for specifically:

-No or little PVP elements
-At least some of an active community- Ideally a medium community, not too small or large
-No gameplay-changing plugins No, let me rephrase that. We don't want any plugins besides those that are practical and generally helpful, such as lockette and the like (/home and similar are not preferred but acceptable). We would prefer 100% vanilla. I hate walking into a server, seeing 10 different chat colors, automatic announcements, little titles behind names, factions and all this other crap.
As a guideline, if I join the server and it is immediately obvious that it isn't traditional vanilla minecraft, I am not interested
-Backup/anti-greifing plugins
-Whitelist. (Ideal, but no whitelist also works)

We'd be much obliged if someone could point us to a quality server with these elements.

I don't mean to bump the thread of a closed server by one day, but, damn.

I was on vacation this past week and a half and am very saddened to come back and see the server has run its course.

Is there any section in which there is a real shortage of moderators?

If so, what would those be?

Whenever you shift-click a map out of the crafting result box, it will be a map_0. You have to click it without shift-clicking.

The Wiki says in order to map a new area, an empty map has to be carried into (or crafted) that area and then 'activated' by right-clicking while holding it. The point where a map is activated determines its permanent center, and can never be changed.
