Hello there! I have barely any experience with command blocks and I have a quick question: I have Redstone Repeaters repeating every second activating a command block that keeps all players in gamemode 0. The issue is that I built it far away from my spawn, so whenever I'm not near the mechanism it doesn't stop me from going into creative like it should. I just wanted to know if there is a workaround for the issue. I'm playing in Vanilla, 1.8.9 on my personal server.

I wouldn't use the word "hate" so strongly as I would use the term "dislike"
The reason so many people "don't like it" is because we've all evolved as an industry together. You see, back in the old days things like this would have been "cool". Some of us have evolved past stuff like this, and as far as I'm concerned, the majority of Minecraft's fanbase is so conflicted when anything new comes to the table. Take the 1.8 (beta) update for example; people whined and moaned about all of the drastic changes and now look where we're at.
People will never be 100% satisfied when you throw stuff like that in their face. Like I've said, some of us have evolved past this type of stuff.
Regardless, everyone will have a different opinion on things. Don't let those dislikes get to you; for all you know, it just might be the most epic Minecraft-themed story ever made! If you like something just remember not to give up on it until it gives up on you. Peace.

Is there a command i can put in my Server.bat to make it use save-off as soon as i turn it on? I always manually save my worlds because my friend tends to grief it when he comes on, and if i'm too late to turn off the autosave then i'm in big trouble.
Current Server Command Line:
java -Xms1G -Xmx2G -jar minecraft_server.1.8.3.jar nogui
"c:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\java" -version
Any help is appreciated

Yes this is an old topic, but i want to share my experience with you guys anyway. So here we go:
While it is obvious the OP needs a new computer, i will give you some advice. Back in 1.2.5, i bought a brand new computer just to play Minecraft and guess what... 25-40 FPS with proper Java versions and specs. In the end, i blame java more than anything for people struggling to run the game. I even played other resource consuming games and they all ran smooth as butter. How do you think Minecraft gets a solid 60FPS on Consoles? Because it's coded in C++ and not Java. I mean, i'm no programming expert but i can just tell by the way the game handles that it's Java's fault. However, as time goes on it's getting more and more optimized, so Java is becoming less and less of an issue. I just hope someday they make their own engine, that way we don't have to worry about all this Java crap. I don't hate java, but it should probably stick to more basic games.
Feel free to critique me, as i'm very ignorant when it comes to this type of stuff

I was thinking of a way for people to officially share their worlds with the internet. Liiiiiiiiiikkkkeee a Download Server! Players can upload their worlds to OFFICIAL Xbox One/Xbox 360 and PS4/PS3 servers and share them with the world! Take screenshots in game and post them on the download page to give an example of what the world will be like! X1 and PS4 worlds can be shared cross-platform! same for 360 and PS3. However PS4 and X1 worlds can't be transferred to 360 and PS3, but the reverse is acceptable.
Second, an MCEdit rip off! Well, we'll just call it that for now. In depth level editor that uses similar functions to MCEdit. Can make and break worlds! No more hour long creative sessions!
What do you think of these ideas and can you do something to make them better? Feel free to post a response below!

How this community has turned into a mess of a social society.
It used to be so calm and nice. Griefing was very common but we took a stand. Now it's just pay (insert triple digits) to win.
What ever happened to all the Survival servers where every one was stuck in a big square-like arena and we just made with what was due.
There was no protection, we WERE the protection. Now people just X-RAY and run around with hacked clients like a bunch of little kids on a sugar rush.
It's depressing really. Because this used to be such a peaceful, calm, quiet little game. And now it's been ruined by the community.
