I would love to see combat skills activated using mouse click combos or something similar. It help immerse you in combat, while allowing for the use of multiple skills.
It seems like your doing this right, trying to get a good foundation before moving to bigger aspects of the mod. I really hope you get all the support you need to pull it off. Cause this would be one hell of a mod to play. Now I'm off to build some SAO things, and will return with screenshots if successful.
How long have you been playing the game?: Back when the nether was introduced during Beta
Have you ever participated in a vanilla server? If so how long did you play?: Yes, though I'm not certain how long. It's been a few years of Modpack, PVP, and RP servers. I can tell you that, I stick to a server once I find out whether it fits me or not.
How many hours can you put in a week?: A minimum of 6 hours, but depending on the week I've gotten 24 hours before.
What can you add to the server?: Quality buildings and more than likely some goofing off. I might hold some competitions if people are interested. And I may be able to get some of my mc friends to join, if they're interested.
What makes you a better choice than the application above?: I've helped start up enough servers and been there when they've died, to understand exactly where your coming from. I love to build and won't stop until I think something's built correctly. I'd be happy to help out if someone needed it either in-game or with real life stuff.
Other hobbies besides video games? I played or play soccer, golf, and volleyball. I love watching movies, eating, and paintball. I used to play Magic the Gathering and D&D a fair amount, and I like playing board games in general. I'm somewhat of a techy so I love anything from code to cables. Science is also one of my loves, though I'm a bit rusty with the more in-depth stuff.
Ok so I successfully installed both Opti-Fine and this ShaderMod in separate 1.7.4 folders. Then I followed the instructions here to put the two together. Now when I hit "Play" the green bar finishes and the game won't launch.
I quadruple checked that I followed the instructions and even tried once again, without success. The only thing I can think of is that I shouldn't have installed optifine manually. Would this change anything? I'd be grateful for any help/suggestions.

Kukuru was blessed with kind parents and a good life, but he wanted adventure. At age 18 he chose to leave his home in search of something better and found that life was not so easy outside of his family's cozy abode. He began to rethink his plan as he saw his coin purse draining quickly but did not want to return to his family. He was accustom to a life free from expectations and worship, for he had a adventuring mind and little care for the gods, whom did not seem to help.
While passing through a town he overheard two men, only slightly older than he, discussing the military. It sounded like the one man was trying to convince what appeared to be his brother or friend to join to local military. "It has decent pay, the foods crap but you get to travel and see new places." These words caught Kukuru's attention. It sounded too good to be true. He spent all night thinking about the military and became more and more excited. The next morning Kukuru awoke and went to the leader of the local military branch and became a trainee for them. He trained hard as he could knowing that the fast his training was done the quicker he would get to travel.
Two years had passed and Kukuru still was stuck in the same area he started in, but now he was stationed in a city. He longed for adventure this life of sitting still, bored him. During his third year in the military he got word of a group of soldiers being sent to war. He went to the commander and begged to be sent with them. After days of persuasion the commander agreed. Kukuru was beyond excited for this opportunity, but nothing could prepare him for what he experienced next. He thought war would be a great and honorable thing; the perfect chance to see other areas. When he finally entered the battle he became shocked by the brutality of it. And became more shocked by what he had done to stay alive. He wanted to leave the military go back to his home and try to live as peaceful of a life as he could. But he found that the military would not simply let a man leave once he joined. He spent years continuing serve and found him self part of many more large battles. His spirit of adventure utterly broken, he turned to all he knew...War.

They had a polytheistic society ruled by kings. Because of Greece's rugged topography, it was divided into mulitple city states. The most famous were Athens and Sparta Athens face a golden age under Pericles. Greeks advanced in technology and focused on ideal Human form. During the Peloponesian wars, Sparta fought and beat Athens. A political vacuum formed and Alexander the Great came in and started the Hellenistic period. His forces conquered the Persian empire as well. Rome was first ruled by Etruscan Kings. These Kings were eventually overthrown and the Roman Senate came in. The senate was ruled by men. The civilization was divided into the rich and poor social classes. The poor plebians formed their own consuls which caused problems in the government. The last roman consul was Julius Caeser. Buck was a young boy born into poverty in Rome. He was a plebian boy. Buck was clever and witty as well as skilled in crafting. Buck's family and friends were oppressed by the senate who disliked the poor. One day after watching the Roman guards abuse his family because they couldn't pay their taxes, Buck ran to hide in the city. Buck was found by a guard that sold him into slavery. After a month of hard labor, Buck decided to escape. One night, he sneaked out of his owner's house and stole his money. He blended in with the people and started a new city life. On the streets, Buck picked up a skill of gambling. He swindled money and he became famous among the people. His sly skills earned him the name Young Buck. In his 20's Buck purchased a house for himself and lived among the Patricians. Buck was able to be elected into the Senate. Once Julius Caeser became Consul, Buck knew he had to leave the senate and Rome. Soon rebellions formed and Rome fell into a state of chaos. One day, Buck awoke on a strange land, not knowing where he was, he began to walk until he stumbled upon a native american base camp. Buck was originally born in Europe. His parents were part of a crew coming to explore the new world. When they arrived, Buck was left in North America. Upon arriving on the discovered camp, he found it was abandoned and over run. There was no one in sight but some deer. Buck soon learned the way of the deer and began eating berries they salvaged. He learned how to hunt by watching the other wild animals. Buck was soon found by native american hikers. After they saw him, they took him in as their own and called him "Young Buck", the one with nature.
