Thanks so much for the tip, it works perfectly now! I've attached pictures to show just how atrocious the graphics were before, and how much better they look now with the fix applied . (Also, I can now actually visit a snow biome without being disgusted, especially with how it showed the borders of chunks.)
I will say that I do recognize those files... when you start a game in a beta version with the default launcher, those files appear in the "versions" folder, I believe. However, they disappear when you close the Minecraft client. Apparently that's why beta versions can't be played offline, cause it literally downloads those every time :/. What an inefficient way of porting the old versions to the new launcher.
Also, thanks for your suggestion with the magic launcher. I think I will be using it for playing non-stock versions from now on, because it seems to actually handle different directories properly. With the default launcher, 1 in 2 times it will still pick the default Minecraft directory, which immediately erases my settings on 1.8.9, and also poses the risk of me clicking to start a world and erasing it due to version incompatibility.

you have a YouTube channel or something?
Hi!
I made a YouTube channel about video files from Minecraft Classic.
Maybe you're wondering, why?
It's simple, nostalgia.
Anyone who has played these versions knows how much fun they were, so I'm collecting the Minecraft classic videos in YT to save them and keep them for the good memories.
I have no intention of stealing the videos, simply archiving them in case one day the original videos of these are deleted.
If you have any video about this version, do not hesitate to tell me to share it!
I hope you can watch the videos, have a good day!
ItemBound doesn't change any default blocks... The furniture items are renamed emeralds, papers, and glowstone dust in item frames. Unless you're referring to the sand and grass textures. Those are part of a separate project I'm working on. I just happened to have them on at the time.
The only textures that ItemBound had to replace were the swords, axes, bows, paper, glowstone dust, clownfish, and pufferfish. This was largely because of the fact that the 2x and 4x sized items couldn't be supported properly without resizing the canvas of the default items. With the new versions of optifine for 1.11.2 and 1.12, since item models can be replaced now, those issues should be fixed entirely. The primary goal of ItemBound was that all of the custom content is optional to use.
Now as for the art style, like any addon or mod, if users want the art styles to match with their favourite texturepack, it's kind of up to the artists to create the support for it. I'd love to offer support for BDcraft for instance, but that's a massive amount of textures I'd need to repaint from scratch. It's just too much work for me. I also debated on sourcing the textures from the default textures like some mods do, but there would be some style clash if people used a different texture pack, either because their patterns wouldn't match quite well, or I'd have to paint some new texture components anyways.
So, this texture-pack only replaces the items?
what about the sky, water, etc.

Yeah, someone who have the Optifog+Optimine B1.6.6 can share to us?

About the beta 1.7.3 optifine, isn't that bug?
