Husky and golden retriever, and nice skins! they are much better than mine that I made
Since im not feeling lazy, ur request might be done today, or in a matter of minutes.
EDIT: i cant find a good color for the golden retriever, i may do him later
EDIT 2: Husky done. thank you for the request! it turned out to be my favorite.
This is my Wolf skin shop. Where you can request skins for wolves.
If you do request something, please give me 1-3 days sometimes maybe hours or minutes.
And also PLEEEASE try to put pictures with your request.
HOW TO INSTALL:
1) Download skin you want
2) Extract the skin
3) Change the names to wolf,wolf_tame,and wolf_angry ( dont do this if you are using the mod "Wolves extended" )
4) go to %appdata%, go to .minecraft, and then bin.
5) open up minecraft.jar with winrar and open the mob folder.
6) drag and drop the skins
NOTE: I really recommend you using the "Wolves extended" mod. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/241839-16614wolves-extended/ because it is awesome and you can have more than one wolf, you can set its skin, speed, and size. you can also name it and put it clothes and breed them. AWESOME isnt it?
I've also noticed this, I had to destroy my door to get my wolves in my house. But then I also agree that your design, I'm sorry to say, isn't very attractive :sad.gif:
I think these doors should be implemented if a suitable design can be made, perhaps changin the design of the wooden door and simply placing a wooden or iron flap in the centre of the bottom half.
My design is not what matters, but even if it did it would only be a miracle if Notch used MY texture.
and if you put it in the centre of the bottom half wouldnt the wolves have to jump a little bit? maybe even get stuck at times?
Beta 1.4:New Bugs: Wolves cannot travel through doors. A small hole can be punched out near the door as they are 1x1, thus creating a "doggy-door" until their pathfinding is updated to recognize open doors as a path they can walk through.
this text found in the Minecraft wiki states that dogs or wolves cannot go through doors unless they are sitting down and you push them through the door.
So my suggestion is a wolf "door". You know those doors maybe even in your house that on the very bottom there is a hole where your pets can go through? why not add that in Minecraft? my idea on how to craft it:
or
meh dont know any better crafting :tongue.gif:
So how this works is when you place it ( possibly right click on door? ) wolves wont follow you through the door because of the bug but they will just go through the wolf door and the animation can be like the door being pushed whatever way the wolf is coming. maybe it can be placed like this?
Can you just post the picture. No installation? (Picture meaning the 2-D .png thing.)
I love the Burmese mountain dog but I can't install it! Only if the skin is in the .png format!
It is in png. format you have to extract the winrar file... but anyway, here.
