Going by this error report, it seems like something in Nature Overhaul's configs is interfering with Tinker's Construct's slime leaves. Try deleting that config and letting minecraft regenerate it.

Ended up ditching Nature Overhaul. Your advice worked though. Thanks a bunch!!! :D

I made the same "mistake" by installing 1.8. I just deleted the Java installation, i think it was in /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines, and reinstalled a 1.7 JDK. You can tell Minecraft to use 1.7 by editing the Java path in the Minecraft launcher (i hope it's correct, on my phone right now):

Under Advanced Settings, click the Executable checkbox, and enter the path to the java binary of the version of Java you wish to use. Check the path in Finder to make sure you have the correct directory (like /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.xxxxxx.jdk/Contents/Home/bin/java).

Fixed it perfectly. You're the best!

Quote from Meringue: You use an old Java version, that's the problem - at least 1.7 is needed for this mod.I noticed you're on Mac OS X 1.9.4, you can install Java 1.7. Don't install a 1.8 version, Forge doesn't support it yet.

I have Java 1.8 installed to the computer, but my Minecraft uses 1.6. Is there an easy way to downgrade to 1.7 that you know of off the top of your head? I'm going to have to do some more research I see. If I can find it, I'll edit my post with instructions for others :)

Not sure why I'm getting this crash... Is it because Better Foliage isn't not compatible with LiteLoader? I use MAtmos, so I'm not sure if that's the problem.

I really like this mod :) My only concern is that the textures for the different orbs are really kinda... meh...

Maybe you could do make them look like rupees, but different colored or something? I don't know... I'd be happy to try and make textures for the orbs if you'd like but I don't really have experience with it.

Anywho I really love this mod so yeah! :D

    Updated to v3.0! http://adf.ly/dqrfH
    • You can add markers with labels in the Atlas GUI
    • MarkerAPI (will update the manual page on GitHub later)
    • Navigation is smoother
    • Buttons are stylized as bookmarks
    • You can move around while the GUI is open. (You can still navigate the map with arrow keys)

    Perfect! :D

I personally don't like the beacon idea, because it allows you to get to the location without even needing the Atlas.

It would be cool to just add a little coloured 'X' on the Atlas and a name too.
Just so you don't get lost.

That would be awesome now that I think about it (: Ignore everything I've said before about the beacon!

I'm working on adding markers, but what exactly do you mean by waypoints? Should the markers you place in the atlas connect with each other by a dashed line or something?

    Quote from Fixided

    No, just normal markers.
Makes the adventure to get there more fun.

My interpretation of waypoints works like the ones that come with Rei's minimap. Or was it Zan's? VoxelMap? If you've seen them in action, they place an identifier on the map screen, and can be configured to show a colored beacon that marks the location in the actual game world.

For the purposes of this mod, I definitely think there should be a marker inside the Atlas, but it'd be interesting to see if you gave the atlas a beacon effect. It'd be helpful, but might not fit the overall tone of the mod if done incorrectly. Just something to consider (:
