i am trying to make a server for me and my friends to play on. i have a legal copy of minecraft, here is what i have done so far: i have set up server, used the guide to increase ram size. used forge to mod it (assigned increase ram .dat file to launch forge-1.7.10-10.13.0.1180-universal instead or normal exe or jar), tested mods to see if server boots. also tested minecraft solo to see if boots with same mods. then i had a issue that when i tried to connect to server i was stuck on logging in screen to connect to it. i solved that problem now current problem when i try to connect i get "internal exception io.netty.handler.codec.decoderexception java.lang.indexoutofboundsexception:readerindex(11)+length(116441)execeeds writerindex(50915): unppooledheapbytebuf(ridx:11, widx:50915, cap: 50915)" i have no idea what this means and when i do google search nothing comes up. any help to get past this will be much appreciated.
