Personally my favourite way to do a floor is a combination of red wool and sandstone. It gives a very "majestic" feel when finished.

I think i may go shoot myself.No more updates.Ever.No more wondering whats going to come next or how it'll be implemented,just.....nothing.Hey,hopefully they'll be DLC! Or maybe a buyable cape
And with no updates MC Mods will have more time to SMP themselves,so in a way there nare still updates,just unofficial ones.

Although i doubt this was initiated by the creators of the games,and more the lawyers who want bestheda to make more money,and if theres less competition.....

This is so amazing...I'm going to use this over DokuCraft.

Look,minecraft is only as boring as you are.I agree with some of the updates,like wolves were cool for a grand total of 40 mins,but minecraft can still be fun! Try building something you've never done before,or making a machinima!
If all else fails,play another game until 1.8, perssonaly suggest Mount&Blade Warband.

all this does is edits the us.lang.barely a mod i;d say,no offense intended

Anyways,i look forward to this update.It seems Minecraft is taking a a turn to the adventure side,which ,i might add, is a very good thing.Minecraft is the perfect game for exploration.Not only that,but NPC villages will be a nice addition to the game.Although i think we can agree Minecraft it slightly loosing it's "survival" element.It has been for a while now.However,I'm really exited about 1.8!!!

everyone seems to assume that these are friendly villages.
this could be a goblin village too,as goblins are maybe being added.

I hope the mushrooms are a rare find,because they look like they are valuable,and rare would be balanced.

a mob that simply annoys you would not provide any gameplay boosts.sorry,but this idea would not benefit minecraft.

i'm currenty building a bridge for you to hide under,being a troll and all.

Lol.i would love to see ant modder on these forums who could code anything near as awesome as the base code for minecraft.there might be 1.no more.

Me too....i miss alpha.It was so green1and lush! and awesome!I never planned in appha,ijust built,now i wish i could still have that care free build style.i look back on screenshots and i think,god i miss the minecraft world back then.
