Took them long enough to add the switch when they said it was going to be one of the joined editions. It fell WAY behind.

If this leads to being able to have a pet turtle, I'm for it. Heck, I'm for any new ocean mob that makes any kind of sense.

So instead of giving us all 4, they're making us choose only one. Yeah, that's a spectacular decision.
A is the one I want to see the most. It looks like some kind of alien wallhugging trapflower.
B looks like a bat, which we already have, so I don't have any clue where this thing would go.
C is a boring-looking box.
D looks like a blaze that brought his floating spires in on himself for an armor-plate dress.
Instead of doing this "1 out of 4" thing, doing a massive overhaul to the game's oceans (which take up an ENORMOUS amount of space) would have been a much better focus. Even if the oceans in Minecraft weren't pathetically barren of anything whatsoever, they take up such a gigantic portion of in-game worlds that it's honestly inexcusable that they STILL apparently are not focusing on updating it. I feel like literally anyone else could be doing a better job getting this creative team's priorities straight.

"A whole host of new content for Marketplace"
Ends up just being a few lousy skin packs.

I know how to use a blur tool, so I could definitely at least do everything this guy is that we've seen so far.

Either this new pixel artist is a complete joke, or the developers are being too constricting in their tasks for him. Literally all of the textures we've seen so far are carbon-copies of what we already have with more blur on them, or textures that are magnitudes too busy to make any sort of sense or look good.

......That's literally my point. Are you unaware that you agree with me?

Honestly, whether these new textures are better or worse than they currently are for default really doesn't matter much at all. How many people actually still use default textures? Literally almost every texture pack ever released (on console) is better than default anyway, and java has access to (I'm assuming) hundreds of user-made texture packs that blow default out of the water completely.

For anyone on every platform other than the currently very crappy Win10/Pocket Edition: No, there is nothing new here. Hopefully this saves you time.

I'm frankly just mentally radiant that everyone stupid enough to continue supporting Sony after all the ludicrous things they've been a part of is getting shafted by this.
That'll learn ya.

Some things also take a lot more work and time to do. Colored beds are literally loading the texture for the default bed, throwing a color filter on it, and assigning it a different ID.
The fact it took Minecraft THIS LONG to do such a SIMPLE, QUICK TASK says a lot about how much they care about adding new stuff to the game. Their work speed is pathetic.

It took them this long to introduce colored beds?
This is ridiculous.

I would call that build "Sworld". It has a very swirly aesthetic.

You literally can just barricade yourself in a dirt closet whenever you want to step away.

I hate the vastly-reduced render distance too, but it's nowhere near enough of an inconvenience to make me forego realms entirely. I've built a massive tower and am working on a city around it that I'd never have been able to do without realms.

Which packs did you use? My friend tried the Luxury Life pack and it still made him use a new world just to load it, and all of the mobs were still being replaced.

One would think, but at the same time, if the developers of their mods DON'T go back and fix them, you still have to start a new world for those modpacks and can only have one, which makes them effectively useless.

There is another topic about this. Your stuff is sitting in the spawn area unless people have been there and have either stolen it or made it despawn by proximity time.

Whatever sand block the turtles hatch on is considered their home beach.

It certainly seems like they have shields planned at the very least, with that slot that only arrows and maps can go into currently that has a shield icon in it.

More specifically, the block you can use 4 log blocks to make in java that have the bark texture on all 6 sides. Shouldn't this very basic block be added to Bedrock as soon as possible? It's impossible to make good-looking trees without them.

Go back to the spawn area. To do this most effectively, write down your home base coordinates then tear up your bed and die again. My realm on xbox has done this to me about 5 times and my other friends a couple times apiece. I don't know what's causing it, but lately I've been stripping everything off myself into a shulker box before I log off in case it happens again. Most of the time I'll be able to see what's happening before my death, and it's spawning us several hundred blocks in the air over the spawn area. Sometimes it takes so long to load in that we're dead before we can move.
Note that if anyone has been to the spawn area since your death that they will either have picked up your stuff or made it despawn to the local tick timer. For your sake I hope the spawn area has been abandoned for a long time.

Level V books are never sold by villagers, as far as I can remember. Your best bet is to buy multiple level IVs. Once you have a single decent crop farm and a farmer villager, it's really not hard.

Trees technically don't require bonemeal, and there's 6 kinds of trees.

I'm pretty sure this is a troll attempt with those beds, but that's way too much stuff.
My standard kit is:
Diamond Pickaxe
Diamond Sword
Diamond Armor
Food (at least one stack)
Bow (infinity)
Water Bucket
Pumpkin
3+ stacks of cobblestone or other disposable block
Potion of slow-falling (this one is brand new)
If you need any more stuff than this to kill the dragon, you're just not very good. You can of course bring more optional things like an Ender chest if you want an insurance policy, and glass bottles to collect the breath.

There is no way to remove anvil repair costs other than switching to creative mode.
This is the list of commands, and you can see which version each command is for.

A smarter way to go about it would be to establish a librarian villager with a Mending trade, get him super-protected, and make an Enderman farm in the End. In my realm, when any of us want to repair, we all have mending and just go visit the farm for 10 minutes or less.

With one of the latest patches, it was finally changed so that modders could add mobs for their resource packs instead of being forced to replace the normal ones.
Does this mean that we as players can now add more than one modpack at once? The way it worked before, we could, for example, only have the dinosaur pack active to add dinosaurs, or the safari pack active to add african animals, and not both. Has this also been updated?
Assuming the creators have gone back and updated their packs to reflect these changes, could I use more than one at a time? I am on Xbox by the way.
