    No. No, no, no...no.
On top of that, The End isn't an isolated location like The Nether (where you'd never escape from). It's just a reach of the game so far that it begins to break down. If you get there, there's basically no hope of returning.
And there's more: Deaths can be very circumstantial. For example, A slight miscalculation causes a long fall an Enderman happens to be at the bottom of. Now you have to start a new game.

The first couldn't fly, and there are no dragons.
Why not settle for gliders of wood and wool?

No reason not to have them. Even if they're basic storage that does nothing special, that's functional, but there's also a lot of potential in superdense power sources.

Again, ghasts obliterate the terrain and fly out of attack range. If they couldn't damage the terrain in the overworld, maybe, but I just think it's a bad idea to spawn them anywhere other than their natural habitat.

you know a rainbow is just a reflection on light...right? It's impossible to have it in a physical form or even to get close to it really.

In Katamari Damacy, you can roll one up.
In Minecraft, there's nothing wrong with wanting to break it down into bits and pocket it.
But I still think the programming would just be too much, and it's better as a sprite that spawns some gold and a cauldron/pot/kettle.
They would also make Scout cry.

posted a message on Ender Corn
I...don't think the End even counts as its own biome...
I would like the idea of a crop certain mobs are drawn to, though. Plant corn, increase Enderman spawn chance in that area, plant something with bonemeal, increase skeletons...
But that would just lead people to farming mobs as well as crops.

    posted a message on [1.8.1] Xen's Female Creepers (V1.0)
Creeper Armour should only give the protection of Leather, but with more durability. It should make Creepers ignore you with the helmet and all mobs but Endermen ignore you with a full set.
Alternatively, make it between leather and iron and a full set only blocks Creeper attention.
I also think female Creepers should only spawn at night, since the species is nocturnal.
    That's my input.

posted a message on Boats Evolved; bigger, modular boats
    Quote from jburtson

That sounds pretty darn complex and interesting, my greatest concern is that it is not necessarily needed, and most ocean biomes are small enough that a boat is overkill. I do want more complex boats, at the very least something with a chest, something you can walk on, or something you can build on.

These are pretty much my concerns, too, but remember that you can reshape Minecraft however you please. Digging channels between oceans shouldn't be a problem.
And yes, a true ship should become a portable base, possibly even with the capacity to hold a bed.
I'm seeing a huge vessel, indestructible to collisions, black Jolly Roger sails, a furnace-powered propeller, a cabin with a bed in it and a treasure chest (though you could also put a music player and program in the Great Sea theme from Wind Waker). Sail from island to island, take what you need, and when you're done, sail off to the next location. Living on the sea would be a whole other way to play.

posted a message on Monsters from the Nether!
Most mobs I'd be okay with, but ghasts are REAL DICKS. You basically can't kill them with anything but a bow, their drops suck, they'd be exploitable, and they'll obliterate the area they exist in. Portal Pigmen, sure. In fact, hecks yeah zombie pigmen everywhere. Lava creatures? No problem. Ghasts I want to stay in the Nether. If I want to see some, I'll go to visit.
Also, if this is implemented, it should work both ways, letting Creepers, Zombies, and Endermen enter the Nether.

The rainbow should just be sprite, but you should be able to get a free gold block if you follow it. Or a pot block which can be crafted to get an empty pot block and some iron ingots. The pot might be able to hold liquids, as well, so you have a convenient spot for them.

posted a message on Minecraft Trading Card Game!
I would only be interested if there's a total TCG you can play in-game against NPCs or on Multiplayer.
It would give paper and dyes another use, and it would justify making it possible to craft a Table.
Bonus points if you can somehow play against mobs, who would always use the same deck (Chicken plays Wheat! Wheat auto-summons Chicken next turn! Chicken auto-summons Egg every turn!)

I always rule in favour of there being an option. The only reason I could think of not to at least present the option of these disturbing, cubical mammaries would be that they'd deeply unsettle the delicate multiplayer masses.

posted a message on Endermen Should Only Destroy Light Sources
Torches are perfectly balanced as they are. I'd rather not have some mob run around behind me in a cave and make it impossible to find my way back to the entrance, or show up and totally destroy the sanctity of the area I'm working in.
Mobs should not act exactly like trolls.
Are Endermen moving individual blocks really such a massive problem? Or so little? Just have them pick up and drop things at regular interverals while wandering.

posted a message on Clay Urn
From the looks of it, it would be cobblestone and some chemical to make clay, since it's just a sort of heavily weathered rock. Maybe sand, cobblestone, and water from top to bottom...I suppose there's no harm in making clay readily available, anyway.
