Press "O" to minumise the over lay or u could install opti-fine it should take it away

It still bugs me minimized, and I'd rather not need additional mod management just to enjoy this mod (especially if opti-fine means I can't see it ever), but if it'd be too much trouble to add completely removing the overlay to the toggle key's cycle, I understand.

Question: Can you hide the overlay yet? That's all I need to be sold on this mod.

Well, for the record, it was definitely iron. I did mine a block with my iron pick, which I'd gotten before installing the mod.
I also had never had this mod before, so there were no old configs to delete.

    1) Is this mod compatible with Forge? I tried it, and it crashed Minecraft immediately.
    2) If I want to change the images for the mobs, I must give the replacement image the same size and filetype, right?

Is it just me, or can iron not be mined with a stone pickaxe?

Well, I really respect that attitude. Anyway, my advice so far would be go for it with that hidden state, upload some recipies (if there are any) here, look into nicknaming Pokemon (for me, at least, that's the best part of catching them), and see if anyone else gets performance issues starting a new world with the mod and if there's anything that can be done about it.
By the way, does this mod replace regular mobs? Because the items they drop can be pretty important...
Best of luck with everything, SplashBattle. Can't wait for the next update.

Anyway, I uninstalled it. It seemed to mess with my connection to my own single player server. I'm sure I'll get some future version, though.

Well U would need to talk To mr M about that

That's why I posted here. This is the official thread and therefore monitored by the developers, right? I'd feel intrusive PMing him.
Though while I'm complaining, I seem to be having a hard time finding crafting recipies for whatever can be made in this mod. I'm assuming Pokeballs and healing blocks, at the least.

But I'm going to need Forge if I'm to have other mods...it just seems like it'd be a lot neater for everyone to add a "hidden" state to the HUD toggle.

This mod looks great, but I would REALLY appreciate a way to totally hide the sidebar (leave no visible trace of the mod). Just another press of O when it's minimized hiding it would keep it out of my way, and I could check statuses when it's relevant.

posted a message on On Endermen
Anyway, my point was that BEFORE the teleportation was implemented, they were essentially harmless because of their immobility. The way they are now, however, the staredown mechanic could be re-added without them being too vulnerable from it.

posted a message on On Endermen
First of all, I think it'd be nice to see a subforum for discussing mobs (one for enemies, one for friendlies). More organization is always nice and gives more people a chance to be heard/seen.

Now, this thread is for sharing thoughts on Endermen (gameplay-wise), be it just the impressions they give or gameplay suggestions.
Now, originally, Endermen only attacked after you looked away from them. I guess this made them sitting ducks for archers, though, so it was changed to making them instantly attack. The problem I have is that now, they're not scary. They startle a little when they first show up, but once you're aware of them, there's no real tension.
I think that it should return to Endermen staring you down if you look at them, but they should only be unable to walk when looked at. They can still teleport over much shorter distances. This way, the moment you make eye contact, there's only a few seconds to prepare yourself before they begin abruptly and unpredictably advancing, restoring the tension while preserving the threat.
If you look away from them, they behave as they do now when attacking. Full mobility.

Also worth considering is allowing them to throw blocks they're holding, either damaging the player on hit or placing the block where it lands (with flowers and mushrooms only taking root if they strike suitable ground, and otherwise just being their item forms).

posted a message on More Slabs
You use an axe to break wood blocks, including stairs, so the diamond pickaxe not breaking them faster isn't a glitch.
More importantly, yes. Dirt slabs and stairs may as well be an option. Would they grow grass, though?

    posted a message on Sushi!
Seaweed would probably spice up the underwater areas of the game, and farming it would entail making a giant fishtank, so I'd support its implementation for use as a sushi ingredient.
Should you have to craft two sticks into chopsticks, as well? At least for a bonus to their consumption speed?
