    Mod Description:

    Items:

    Raw Mystic:Dropped by mining mystic ore with a stone pickaxe or higher.



    Mystic Ingot: Made by smelting raw mystic.


    Explosive Wand: An item that upon right clicking, sends forth a mystic bolt that explodes upon contact with an entity or block. Less destructive than TNT but still useful. No durability but it does require gunpowder for each use.


    Mystic Toolset: The mystic tools mine slightly slower than iron tools, are more durable than iron tools, receive better enchantments than iron tools and can mine any blocks that iron tools can. This is due to the rarity of the ore. These tools have the enchantments "Unbreaking I" and "Efficieny 1" for the pickaxe, shovel and axe. The hoe has "Unbreaking II" and the sword has "Fire Aspect I" and "Looting 1". These enchantments appear upon crafting(although you have to click and move them first to 'update' them). The tools also have right-click abilities. They have a durability of 400 and these abilities use a small amount of durability. The sword can heal 3 hearts for a total of 40 times at full durability, the hoe can spawn 50 melon seeds at full durability, the shovel can spawn a grass block a total of 200 times, the axe can spawn a total of a 100 saplings and the pickaxe can spawn a total of 25 stone pickaxes. There is a video detailing this in the video section.


    Mystic Armor: The mystic armor set is better than iron and receives better enchantments. This is due to the rarity of the ore. The armor has default enchantments upon crafting(after clicking and moving to 'update' them). The helm has "Aqua Affinity I" and "Respiration I", the chest has "Projectile Protection I" and "Blast Protection I", the leggings have "Fire Protection I" and "Thorns I" and the boots have "Feather Falling I".

    Mystic Ore: An ore that spawns below a height of 30 in veins of a maximum of 2, meaning its quite rare.


    Mystic Block: A block that literally does nothing, just to show off that you have emeralds and mystic ingots.


    Gunpowder Block: A handy way to store your gunpowder as well as create the explosive wand.

    4.Place it in the mods folder.

    This mod basically adds two new mobs that only spawn at night and have a very low chance of spawning. The mobs are the Corrupted Skeleton and Corrupted Zombie. This mod also adds a new item called the Firebow. It shoots flaming arrows and any mob or creature hit will be set on fire.

    Checkpoint Maker: This block is a block that when left clicked, creates a tower of fences and nether rack which later is set on fire. This is so that players exploring Minecraft do not get lost, all they would have to do is place the block down, click it anda checkpoint will be made for them.

    Grenade: This grenade may seem small, but when right clicked, is thrown on to the ground giving the user 3 seconds to run, before it bursts and creates an effective explosion.

    Overview[/center]

    I do not take credit for Risugami's work. He is an amazing modder and I only used his loader.





    The mod doesn't work with other mods that edit the EnumToolMaterial.class, EnumArmorMaterial.class,Block.class, BiomeGenBase.class(will be using BiomeAPI soon) and the GenLayerVillageLandscape.class that other mods edit too so I, in the meantime am working on a patch. If you would like to use this mod, you will NEED a mod that does not edit these classes.


    Installation:

    Windows:

    1. Download Risugami's ModLoader.
    2. Download Mo' Ores Mod.
    3. Locate your minecraft.jar.
    4. Open it with Win-Rar.
    5. Drag and drop all the class files and folders from the mod's zips.
    6.Delete META-INF!**VERY IMPORTANT**
    7.Play!
    Mac:

    1. Download Risugami's ModLoader.
    2. Download Mo' Ores Mod.
    3. Use this tool to locate and find the minecraft jar.

    Well that didn't help one bit, so I went back into my code, changed the "abstract class" back into "public class" and got no errors, but I get a new crash report on the CMD, which is all about codes which I have not edited. So, could you take a look guys?

    The firstID thing means the Block ID.

    I changed the way the block is registered. You should use this way next time. To add a block use these statements:

    P.S. The mod class does say "abstract" yes, but that is because ModLoader's new code requires it to be an abstract class. The public class will no longer work.


    I already found your mistake. You must be using a tutorial that is for an older version of minecraft. Because in Minecraft 1.0+ the "Public String Version()" has been changed to "Public String getVersion()". And the "Public Mod Namehere()" has been changed to "Public void load()". If you look in your code spoilers above, I have changed the code to work so just replace your code with the one above. And if your looking to do anything else I suggest adding "import net.minecraft.src.*;" below the "package net.minecraft.src" to be able to use most of the methods minecraft used. +1 me if i helped :tongue.gif:.

    This is the WIP Development Thread for the map I am making, the Sky Dungeons. It is still in its very early stage of development. There are pictures below of the Work In Progress.

    1. You can't break any blocks except clay.
    2. Don't tinker with the map or its redstone functions and release it as your own(unless written permission from me)
    3. No using external mods that allow you to get blocks or items without ACTUALLY earning it yourself.
    4. Do not distribute the map as your own.
    5. You can make banners, texture packs and etc. for the map, it is allowed, just post it here.

    Challenges:

    1. Collect every single diamond.
    2. Complete the map.
    3. Find the hidden room.
    4. Kill 150 zombies.

    So you've begun modding and you don't know how to get pictures up

    You get tons of comments saying "No pix no clix".



    You begin to get worried of getting alot of hate...



    And now you end up here!




    So first, take screenshots of your mod!

    To do this press F2 for the in-game screenshot tool(fn+F2 for Macs)!

    Or use a screenshot tool!

    Next, open up imgur.com.

    Hit the computer button and locate your .minecraft(C:/Users/YOURUSERNAME/%Appdata%/Roaming/.minecraft folder or wherever you saved the pictures in and select the pictures(ctrl-click for windows, command-click for macs).

    Hit done and Hit upload!

    Now, once the pictures are done uploading, copy and paste the forum BBCode wherever you want it to be in your post!
