    Ok, so here I am trying to make a Steel Mod for minecraft as I am a newbie to Java Developing and I use Eclipse. In the code, there aren't any errors, but when I run the client it crashes!

    Heres the code:
    package net.minecraft.src;

    public abstract class mod_Steel extends BaseMod {

    public mod_Steel() {
    ModLoader.AddName(Steel, "Steel");
    ModLoader.RegisterBlock(Steel);
    Steel.blockIndexInTexture = ModLoader.addOverride("/terrain.png", "steel.PNG");
    ModLoader.AddRecipe(new ItemStack(Steel, 1), new Object[] {
    "XX", "XX", Character.valueOf('X'), Block.oreIron
    });
    }

    public static final Block Steel;

    static {
    Steel = new Block(167, 0, Material.rock).setHardness(2.5F).setResistance(15F).setStepSound(Block.soundStoneFootstep).setLightValue(0F).setBlockName("Steel");
    }

    public abstract String getVersion1();

    @Override
    public String getVersion() {
    // TODO Auto-generated method stub
    return null;
    }
    @Override
    public void load() {
    // TODO Auto-generated method stub

    }
    }

    Heres the error report:

    Change it so that it drops stone half the time, and cobblestone the other. half. Or 25% 75%

    Hello all, this is my second mod! This mod adds a percentage to the stone block file so that there is a small chance that when mining stone you actually receive the smooth stone back instead of cobblestone.

    V1.1 is coming tomorrow!

    It will include breakable bedrock, just breakable enough so that it doesnt get destroyed immediately. Obsidian's break time halved and cobblestone breaking time reduced by 3 times. Note that you will BREAK the block and will not receive it back unless using a suitable tool.

    Hello all, this is my Easier Mining mod. It is my first mod.

    This mod is meant to make mining blocks without tools easier. So far I have done stone, sandstone and wooden planks. If I get support for this mod I will continue it.
