Is there a plugin that has an option to make it so when players are getting attacked by say, another player, they cant open chat? Like they cant enter chat to type while getting attacked?
Hi, I own a server and recently published a VIP rank that provides players with a bunch of cool perks.
Im looking to add more things, but not sure what. I have a huge castle in spawn that I want to put VIP-only things in, but I can't think of what to add to the castle for VIP only.
Also, I want to make VIP only warps, Where should the warps lead to and what should be special about them?
One warp I have teleports the player to a HUGE automatic Melon farm. Any other ideas?
New CPU, GPU and ram. But the ones you have there are terrible. Go for an i3 2100/2120. The AMD Fx series is... not good at all. Even the Pentium beats their top of the line bulldozer.
What's your budget?

Im looking to be able to expand this to about 60 or so, but I have a few questions at the end of this post. Here's a bit about my computer.
Processor: AMD Phenom 9500 Quad Core ~2.2GHz
Motherboard: mcp61pm-hm
Memory: 6 GB Total, 4 GB going to the server. (ALL DDR2)
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForece GTX 560
Hard Drive: hl-dt-st dvdram gh10l (I think this is it)
I was talking to a few people on this other game I play called rift, they said to upgrade my motherboard, processor, and RAM. They say my motherboard, RAM, and processor are slow. Here is what they recommended:
I was just about to get ready to purchase all of that recommended to me, when another person mention forget the motherboard and processor and RAM, just get an SSD Hard Drive. I have no ideas what these are, but he is telling me it will free up my problems.
So what problems am I having??
(+) I can't play Assassin's creed on LOWEST graphics without lagging, I have to put batman arkham asylum on lower graphics, SWTOR is very laggy when im in a crowded area or fighting, on lowest graphics.
(+) I want to be able to hold around 50 people online on my minecraft server at one time without lag or very very minimul lag.
So here are my questions:
1. Which is better to get, the New motherboard, RAM, and processor? Or the SSD thing. Remember, Im trying to clear up FPS lag, and allow more players to play on the server without lag.
2. What exactly would the new motherboard, processor, and RAM allow my computer to handle?
3. What exactly would the SSD improve on my computer?

I need help setting up a server again, I had 2 set up a while ago, but i want to set up another one. This PC now is windows 7, old one was vista, for some reason everything i try wont work...
Im stuck at the very beginning, where I place the CraftBukkit JAR file in a folder, then make the Run.bat file.
Can someone help me out on teamviewer please get this server started up? Thank you
Hello everything, let me start off by introducing myself, and what this post is about.
My name is Logan, Minecraft name DaClowns, and I have been playing minecraft for a very long time now, probably somewhere around 8 months or so. I have played on several servers before I finally decided to create my own. I created a survival server with all the features I hoped servers would have before I joined them.
Before long, the Server I had started had a steady 20 active players online at normal times. This server was just hosted through my computer, so I kept it at a 40 slots maximum. I loved getting on the server and welcoming new visitors, and helping out people with any problems they came across. I even decided to add a VIP option, and was very surprised with the amounts of donations. Sadly, I had to shut down the server due to school, and sports. I was unable to continue helping out everyone on the server and their problems, with the little time I had to play. Last summer i started another server, and it was just as, if not more, succesful than my first. A few weeks ago I had to shut it down due to joining a much more competitive lacrosse team and with school.
I am basically just looking for a server to become a Moderator/Admin on. I prefer to be someone on a server helping people out, rather than a casual player. I am very familiar with rules, and the Bukkit server system. I am looking to Moderate on a server that is not Fairly new, and a server that has pretty much developed. By this I mean one with all the permissions and main pluginsd basically figured out, and a decent amount of active players.

Im trying to get this plugin called CHDistantFarm. It says in the installation is uses the database from my bukkit.yml config.
How exactly do I set up my mySQL database with the bukkit.yml config file? Im kind of a noob with this whole mySQL thing, so. yeah.
