Lol, thanks anyway. And yeah. I looked out door of our little shack and I thought I was seeing things. When it was gone, I went outside and saw the little box running (or sliding? XD) towards me making rat sounds. It was amusing and terrifying at the same time.
I could use some assistance with an error that my friends and I are having whenever we try to use Mo Creatures with other mods that give you tamed animals (at least that seems to be the case with our tests). We get a similar error when we tried to use dragon mounts and doggy talents. Everything works in single player, but in multiplayer, the clients log in for a split second (sometimes a login can last longer), then crash with this error (this was with Doggy Talents):

No errors appear on the server side. We've used doggy talents with mo creatures in 1.4.7 so I assume an issue might be with the 1.5.1 version. It also works fine in singleplayer. The one time I managed to stay logged in when Mo Creatures and Doggy Talents were installed together, the animals models were wrong. I was being attacked by litter box that was suppose to be a rat and a hell rat, that was suppose to be a scorpion, was out in the water. Then my client crashed. Any idea as to what's going on? I've only seena few other people have this issue on the forum. The only one that was given a possible solution was that they were using an old version of Forge. We're using the latest version of Forge for 1.5.1, so not sure what's going on. Any ideas?
MCPC+ works fine. You are using the wrong version of CustomMobSpawner. 5.1.5 Requires 1.12.5 and 4.7.0 Requires 1.11.2.

This seems to happen every time we add another mod along with Mo Creatures. When used alone, it works fine.
No I have neither of those mods. When I do delete the config files however there are ID conflicts with a couple of blocks which have to be changed.
For example I need to change the DirtBlockID. The notes point out it needs to be less than 256 so I changed it to 156 and did the same for the other IDs.
Once I've fixed that and got the game running, still run into the same problem. I just found a wild horse that was a tier 2 horse. I suspect if I ran around looking for all the wild horses they would be that same exact horse.
My friends and I have run into the same problems on our server. It worked fine when we first used it. We tried to add Mine Fantasy to the server and ran into ID conflicts. We modified the config files and it worked fine in single player, but whenever we tried to log onto the server, we got entity ticking errors and spawn packet (I think that's what they were called) errors. After completely cleaning off the server and our clients, we tried again. A friend was able to log in for a short time and he saw a ton of wyverns in the swamp, then it crashed on him. We generated new worlds for each test we did and couldn't get it to work in multiplayer, so we had to remove mo creatures altogether. Still have no idea what the core issue was. I miss using the mod.

Yeah, we're having the same problem on our server. After some testing, it seems that the visor itself causes the crash. At least it did on our tests. As soon as a golem gets a visor and attacks something, the world crashes.
1: should dr zhark keep going in the dragons direction after completing wywerns and do many other varieties of dragons?
2: should dr zhark start taking a look into "archeology" (or patheonlogy, depends)
3: should dr zhark do different mythical creatures other then dragons in the nearer updates (griffins, hypogriffs and such)
4: should dr zhark go back at doing modern time animals
an other poll idea would be to ask which next creature to update (i personaly would love cool new big cats)
Where does it say he's working on Wyverns? I saw someone else mention it in a comment, but I haven't heard anything else. Are there pictures somewhere? (google turned up nothing) How far has he gotten? I'd love to see dinos and dragons added to mo creatures, along with more things to tame since I like their taming system. I'd also like the see the big cats get an update like the wolves and horses did.
**Edit** I checked the images (I didn't do that last time). If the images are the ones that I saw, I am super excited. Yes, I'd like to see more types of dragons, though the wyverns are fantastic in their own right. If nothing else, I'd like to see it get a treatment similar to the horses, with different color combos or designs at different tiers.
Now that I think about it, instead of having different dragon types, he could do other mythical creatures in the new realm. Would be kind of fun, I think. With gryphons and the like. Or small ambience things like fairies.
When you download the zip Extract it into your mods folder. Dont just drop the zip in because the path to the mod files must be /.minecraft/mods/Fossil-Archeology/fossil/

Mostly just the mod, and since there is no download of the content pack that I could find, I would imagine that not the content pack....However if you so desire and can track down the creators of the content from this pack we will include some of it in a future update....
That would be awesome, if it could be done. I was heartbroken when I found out this mod was discontinued. I would love to see it come back to life and improved. I'd also like to see more dinos and more things to do with them along with a world to explore. This is asking a lot, but I hope that, over time, it'll be doable. This is the best dino mod I've seen out there, so far.

Lol, thanks anyway. And yeah. I looked out door of our little shack and I thought I was seeing things. When it was gone, I went outside and saw the little box running (or sliding? XD) towards me making rat sounds. It was amusing and terrifying at the same time.

My friends and I have run into the same problems on our server. It worked fine when we first used it. We tried to add Mine Fantasy to the server and ran into ID conflicts. We modified the config files and it worked fine in single player, but whenever we tried to log onto the server, we got entity ticking errors and spawn packet (I think that's what they were called) errors. After completely cleaning off the server and our clients, we tried again. A friend was able to log in for a short time and he saw a ton of wyverns in the swamp, then it crashed on him. We generated new worlds for each test we did and couldn't get it to work in multiplayer, so we had to remove mo creatures altogether. Still have no idea what the core issue was. I miss using the mod.

Yeah, we're having the same problem on our server. After some testing, it seems that the visor itself causes the crash. At least it did on our tests. As soon as a golem gets a visor and attacks something, the world crashes.

Where does it say he's working on Wyverns? I saw someone else mention it in a comment, but I haven't heard anything else. Are there pictures somewhere? (google turned up nothing) How far has he gotten? I'd love to see dinos and dragons added to mo creatures, along with more things to tame since I like their taming system. I'd also like the see the big cats get an update like the wolves and horses did.
**Edit** I checked the images (I didn't do that last time). If the images are the ones that I saw, I am super excited. Yes, I'd like to see more types of dragons, though the wyverns are fantastic in their own right. If nothing else, I'd like to see it get a treatment similar to the horses, with different color combos or designs at different tiers.
Now that I think about it, instead of having different dragon types, he could do other mythical creatures in the new realm. Would be kind of fun, I think. With gryphons and the like. Or small ambience things like fairies.

I unzipped the file and checked my paths. It matches what's on the original post and I still get the exact same error that person did. Much like them, I'm using Magic Launcher to run minecraft. Could that be the reason why it's not working?

That would be awesome, if it could be done. I was heartbroken when I found out this mod was discontinued. I would love to see it come back to life and improved. I'd also like to see more dinos and more things to do with them along with a world to explore. This is asking a lot, but I hope that, over time, it'll be doable. This is the best dino mod I've seen out there, so far.
