If there is another Big Mac centered episode and he absolutely has to talk and is under his own volition, you'll most likely get your line or two of dialogue that isn't either stupid baby talk and Eeyups. But he doesn't yet.

Problem I have with this is, we have one recurring male character. Who had things to say at one point, who seemed like he would be this voice of wisdom they might turn to sometime. But then, and I know I keep saying this, but it's how I feel about it, they dumbed him down. Made him into a joke. I don't WANT him to end up with a lot of lines, I just want him to be a character that contributes more than just walking on screen and saying "eeyup" once an episode. I want that applebuck Big Mac back, dammit!
I sorry, but in Applebuck season all he said was that Applejack couldn't possibly harvest the whole orchard by herself. I think that is pretty much common knowledge that a full orchard can't be picked by one person.

The thing is, now that there is a new board, different parts of the fandom are being squashed into one area. The /co/ pony fandom hates just about every other part of the fandom (the /b/ pony fans, Ponychaners and Bronies. It's funny because bronies started on /co/) Anyways, we're all kind of stuck together on a huge board when /co/ just wants their one general thread at a time and everyone else is bouncing around and just being kinda annoying.

I have been seeing many "old" bronies showing up again lately. Be it here in the thread, or in the MLP MCF brony server. Hide and Hair of some of us, just got bored due to current topics and such going on in here. Also total annoyed with how the mods are in the MCF here.
I may be here for a little bit longer then I thought I was, at least until the dust settles around /co.... dammit I mean /mlp/. Today is a sad day.
That is how I used to think of him too... But I just feel like they turned him into nothing but a joke.
I usually do this about once a week, complain that I remember when Big Mac had all those smart lines in the beginning but just got turned into a stupid hick. This really isn't a big deal, it's just something I like to complain about is all.
And "the same old Big Mac" is "eeyup". And THAT'S the issue I have with him. Wasted potential, and they dumbed him down for no good reason.
Actually, I'm not the only one who thinks like this, problem is it's all the Europeans that agree with me, and they are most likely just now waking up for school. They show up later.

I find no problem with this to be honest. I don't see a "stupid hick" that was dumbed down as much as a pony who is reserved and doesn't have a need to speak in long winded passages. As a guy who speaks as little as possible IRL, I relate to him. I can talk in complete sentences if I wanted to or if I had something to say, but I rarely do because there is no need to. He could have been used for much more, but honestly, I don't know what you would add to him. Give him more lines and have him speak when it's not necessary? I understand if he talks to further the plot, but too many lines would just kill him as the character he really is.
Edit: I just now see your edit. Wow, I've had that reply screen up for an hour or so. Sorry I missed you, I was lurking the /co/ MLP Generals when moot decided to make a /mlp/ board and ban everything pony related there. This isn't going to be pretty in the least.
