what do you mean by it cannot use comparators and why are you using a program because I can get you the one command without using a program if you tell me all of the commands so please give me the rest of the commands and I should be able to help you.
I have a better idea trash the armor stands and do /execute @a ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-1 ~ log I used logs but you can change it to whatever the floor is made of I got this command from a tree spirit challenge tester that i'm working on that I will post the link to here once i'm done
you cannot use /execute in the way you want to but you can do /execute @a ~ ~ ~ /clear @p minecraft:dye 12 1 for light blue dye and minecraft:dye 4 1 for lapis And then use a comparator Sadly it's impossible to do it with one command unless you make a command block that makes other command blocks.
At night I am actually going to recommend making an underwater air pocket or sitting on a tree so that it's harder for mobs to get to you and so that you don't run into very many creepers. I am saying this because I decided to try it for myself and see how difficult it is.

I have an idea y cant you just do /tp @a x y z on a clock with a button to stop it for when everybody gets there

yes you are allowed hanging out on top of your house or in a tree.

when you use the escape route to beat the challenge I think the minimum should be 1000 block to make it more intresting
