Really? I thought that the hotel looked nice up there near the park. Felt like the wood-based structure would belong more around the park area.

Very nice. All look great except the appartment complex. That green black colour combination looks sort of weird to me.
Also, I am sort of obsessed with covering everything with redstone so it would be amazing if you had made it so that, instead of glowstone, your city is illuminated by redstone lamps. But that's just me.

I could see how that'd be more appealing visually, but the difficulty would be powering it, considering that the lamps are mainly in locations where it might be difficult to conceal a redstone mechanism. A valid idea though.

Greetings Minecrafters, I am here to present my ongoing project that's finally nearing completion. It's gotten enough done on it that I can safely present the town of Landscape!
This project's been worked on since Minecraft hit the Xbox. This is my very first build ever, and my only build at that, and this town's grown very much in two years. This area's been subject to massive terraforming (there are literally shells over oceans and plains where there used to be mountains) and it's still getting proper treatment to look aesthetically proper, but it's been pretty cleaned up for the most part. I've only had a little bit of help on the map, 95% of the structures were done by myself. The only one I'm not too proud of is the school, other than that, for my first build a lot of the structures came out good.

    Noiz (Nightclub)

    Downtown Apartment Complex

    Wastewater Management Facility

    Woodworking Shop

    Hospital

    Hotel

    Auditorium

    Uptown Apartment Complex

    Central Park

    Aerial Views

    Extra Pictures

It's not the best and there's a few problems, like the streets, that'll be fixed over time, but it's not bad for my first build. Thanks to all who view the town!

posted a message on Looking For Builders for City
Greetings crafters. I'm in need of a little help in building a large city and it's outer regions and, for the sake of speeding up the process, would appreciate help in this endeavor. I would like builders that know their way around urban construction, at least to an extent. Also, I don't require that you have a microphone, but it would be appreciated. One thing I do require is maturity. I don't want griefers or trolls, I'm in need of intellectual, honest builders. I myself am very easy to work with and have a good idea of what I need, so if you're looking for a project host, please message me.

posted a message on Looking for Creative Server
Hello. A friend and I have been seeking a creative server with no land restrictions and dual building (as in we can work together to build things.) I'd like it to be generally lag free and it can be big or small. If that's not possible to find, we'd accept plot-based creative servers where we can work together. We really just wanna build together and have our works preserved as well. I really would appreciate the help in finding such a server, if anyone would be able to help, I'd appreciate it. Thank you all for reading this.

Yeah, I can't seem to get the language to work. There's two .jar files, one being Minecraft and the other being Minecraft 1.4.3
Every time I try putting the en_WWW file in them the game crashes, even if I've deleted the META file. Can't understand what I'm doing wrong, unless the file isn't compatible with the updated versions of MC.

posted a message on Need Help Finding a Texture Pack
Hello Everyone. I need help in finding a modern/futuristic texture pack that DOESN'T require the HD patch. The HD patch fries my computer but i can use any normal texture pack fine. I need something either modern or futuristic but anything I find requires an HD patch. If anyone can help me track down any pack at all like what I'm looking for, that would be great.

Try the seed " Terraria ". There's almost nothing but plains in that seed, aside from a few small forests and desert biomes. Not much in the way of cave systems, but it's good for underground building that way.
BTW, something about your Xbox name reminds me of Touhou.

I'll give that one a shot, thanks.
BTW, I did indeed try to get Remilia's name but it was already taken, so I picked the next best thing hehe

I don't think you should be looking at seeds but rather at mods. I strongly recommend using Mystcraft and WorldEdit for your build. They'll make sure you get what you want.

Problem is, I don't have the slightest clue on how to use mods. I tried a few times to get them to work but I can't get them to work for me. Besides, I just need a seed that doesn't require me to do insane amounts of terraforming, just a seed like I mentioned above or something at least similar.

posted a message on Seed Request
Hello everyone. I need help finding a good seed for my upcoming project. What I need is a seed with a large plain-like expanse and a deep underground. I plan to build QUITE a project so I need the room. If there is a seed like it, if the large plain-like expanse was surrounded by sort of hilly outcropping, that would be great. As far as strongholds and mines and caves like that, I don't really care too much about, I just don't want to try building this project on a superflat world. So if anyone can recommend a seed like the one i described, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll go ahead and reiterate what I want in characteristics below:

    -Vast plain-like expanse
    -Deep underground

posted a message on Need Builders for Fantasy RPG server!
There's not many regulations, gotta be 17 or older, at least somewhat good at building and used to working alone and together. We really need people to keep this going, if you're interested in applying, go to dr-kd.com
If you're good with intricate detail, you'll love working here, our server is focused on detail oriented builds, but we aren't gonna turn down the casual builder that's limited as far as building structures goes. That's one thing we need most is builders, just general builders, if you're interested, please apply at the site listed or send me a PM (private message). Thank you for your time.

posted a message on Worker for Hire Again
Well, it seems that I'm without anyone to work for anymore so I'm going to post that I'm available for work again. I may not be as free as I used to be, but I can still manage, school wont keep me from my beloved Minecraft!! As of right now, I'm for hire as a builder, give me room to build and I'll strut my stuff, and even admin as needed (though I'm honestly not the best admin). And before anyone asks, I'll make this very clear, I have NO idea as to what my computer specs are, nor do I know anything about my internet. All I know is that I can hold a connection to servers most of the time with no problems (if there is a problem, I'll let you know via the forum site). I'm more preferable to having a clean slate or alot of work space since I have large-scale projects already sketched out on my trusty sketch-pad, but I'll only work on one server at a time. If you need something else built, I can do that, given that I have at least a little room of my own to build.

    Specs:

    Age: 17
    Maturity: High
Days Available: Weekdays-3 p.m. to 11 p.m and anytime on Weekends
    Cooperation: Medium
    Intelligence: Very High
    Creativity: High
Endurance (can handle long work sessions): Medium (depends on how many days I haven't slept...)
Grief Level: Zero. None. Won't happen. I ABSOLUTELY REFUSE any art of griefing.

    Positives:

I'm very adaptable, my creativity spans in quite a few directions. If you tell me to work on a laboratory, I'll get to it. Want a castle in the sky? You got it. Small Towns? No problem. There's very few places I can't quite hit, but even if I can't quite hit the nail on the head, I can at least try. Practice makes perfect after all.

I work without complaint, tell me to do something and I'll start working on it (taken that I'm not drawing plans for it. Sometimes, if it's something important, I'll draw out plans for how I"m going to build. Which in that case, give me a couple days to get all the kinks worked out)

Need to go and do chores and wont be able to finish that awesome part of your server? You can depend on me. Just tell me (as specifically as possible) what to make, and I'll do my best.

I'm fairly game savvy and have my system made for gaming (just...apparently not server holding...). I have Gamebooster 3 installed and have a Razer Nostromo gaming pad set up just for MC. I also have Xbox Live to talk on if needed.

    Negatives:

I'm a bit of a lone wolf. I can work with others pretty well, but I do my best on my own.

Living around where I do, there's storms often, which means power outages and internet loss, so sometimes if I just up and disappear, that's why.

I don't talk too much. Usually cause my mind's focused on building. It's not that I'm mean or anything, no far from it, actually half the reason I'm doing this is to make new friends. I really like the community here and I think I'll get along well with just about everyone. I just tend to keep quiet when I'm deep in thought lol.

Alright people, let the comments come in and I'll see which one suits my fancy the best.
