    posted a message on Zelda Sword Skills: 1.8.9 v3.4 and 1.7.10 v2.5.1 (03/08/2017)

What EXACTLY do you need to do to get the Tempered Sword?

I have 2 Master Ore and the Master Sword in my inventory.

    I've tried:

finding a "blacksmith" villager (a villager with a black apron) and unlocked 6 trades (what was set in the config) then right clicking with Master Ore in Inventory and nothing.

naming a villager; "blacksmith" "Blacksmith" "BLACKSMITH" "smith" "Smith" and "SMITH and repeating above, nothing.

repeating the above with a goron villager, nothing.

None even mention anything about the master ore like some other users have mentioned. (The "That's a nice stone..." text)

I can't find a video tutorial anywhere, and the PDF Guide doesn't help.

Stuck on getting the tempered sword and can't find a trace?

THEN TAKE THE MASTER ORE AND PUNCH THAT VILLAGER IN THE FACE! (WITH IT)

I feel so stupid about that. I was thinking > Villager Interaction = Right Click. Out of rage I punched the friendly villager in the face while holding it and the rest solved it'self!

I DON'T have Minecraft Comes Alive installed.

    Minecraft Version: 1.7.10

Zelda Sword Skills Mod Version: 2.2.7

    MC Forge Version: 10.13.4.1481

posted a message on Auramcraft, the augmented magic mod.

This is a very interesting mod.

It seems to be a bit similar to Thaumcraft in therms of experimentation and knowledge exploration.

Perhaps in the future, you or someone else could make a mod that links this mod with Thaumcraft in some way?

If you are messing with the fabric of the universe, then you also mess with the fabric of magic, and the very materials that a Thaumatage messes with.

I'm definitely going to follow this and am interested to see how it develops.

posted a message on Satoru Iwata (President of Nintendo) Passed away

I'm uploading a video containing my thoughts about this.

But I will leave some here.

I might have said some flavorful things about Mr. Iwatta's recent decisions, but it was never out of hate.

I just didn't want to see him or his company fail.

I had no idea the pain he must have been going through sense 2014 when his complication started.

Combine that with the personal sacrifices he must have made that could have affected his family, his lovelife, his children, etc.

The Late Satoru Iwatta was my idol. Much like notch is my idol.

Someone who has a passion for games, and wants to make their own games.

For everything that you have done, the sacrifices you have made, the late nights, the hard decisions, thank you.

Mr. Iwatta is sure to have put a smile on many childrens' faces, and many more young adults and 20-somethings with crap jobs.

I wish your family the best. I wish Nintendo the best.

I just hope that your successor looks at your work, and builds upon it, instead of following in the footsteps of the others and focusing on high-fidelity, ultra-spectacle, AAA garbage.

    Farewell, Mr. Iwatta.

3)Have a pickaxe of the same type in your inventory

4)Mine until that main-hand pickaxe breaks.

posted a message on Quivers: VOTE NOW

The reason why they didn't remove the Quiver Graphic is because Mojnag is just lazy, LOL.

Also Mojang likes to mess with people that poke around in the .jar files. Remember the Skis? Yeah, red herrings placed in the game purely to mess with people.

As far as I understand, the only thing that references quivers in the Minecraft .jar is quiver.png which is from the original stitched default resource pack.

They may have also left the quiver.png in the .jar just in case dinnerbone decides to add quivers into the game sometime in the future.

    Possible future use: Enchanted Quivers?

Fire I, Slowness I, Wither I, Vampiric I, etc Quiver Enchantments.

Guess I could always wait for MCP/Forge to update for 1.9 snapshots (not likely btw) to make an Enchanted Quiver proof of concept.

posted a message on Quivers: VOTE NOW

I voted no because the Quivers were only able to hold 1 stack of arrows of any type. That would mean an item string would need to have metadata for every arrow type and a crafting recepie for each type of arrow quiver.

On the technical side of things, there is no point to having arrow quivers. It would just be another item using up inventory space. Now in order for a stack of arrows to take priority over all other stacks in your inventory, you just pace it into your off-hand slot. That's what Dinnerbone meant by more natural, he meant in terms of game feel, not reality natural.

If you argue for realism, then mod the game to make the max stack of arrows 5, then make the quiver hold 64. But balance and function wise, there's no point. Your firing speed isn't increased, you don't do more damage with off-hand arrows, it's just there for "I want to fire THESE SPECIFIC ARROWS first"

Also I think everyone's reaction on Twitter is a testament to how entitled people can get.

Minecraft is mod-able. If you don't like something in it, wait for MCA and Forge for that version, learn to code in Java, and mod it.

This was how the mod Better Than Wolves was made after all.

posted a message on [MC 1.12.x] Minecraft Comes Alive v6.0.0 (MILLIONS OF PLAYERS!)

Is there any way to turn off the roaming villagers?

I think this mod is nice and all, but every world that I have get's overrun with villagers.

I'm no-where near a village, yet villagers start spawning around my base. Even though there's no other houses, I'll go away for about an hour, then have about 25 villagers.

Is there a config setting to make it so villagers only spawn in villages?

posted a message on [1.7.10] Caveworld 2 - Adds more new cave dimensions!

    Please update your download links.

I had to spend some time in locating latest build of Cave World mod of yours. Up to date most build: 1.9.7

I found link by self by your Dropbox link. I want to post, unsure if against rules.

Please update your download links in the original post.

I had to poke around your website to locate the download link to the latest build of Caveworld (which is 1.9.7) as the link provided in the original post on this thread is only 1.8.3.

I would post the dropbox link I found on your website here, but I don't want to be disrespectful and/or break any rules on the Minecraft Forums.

Found a major bug with the Cavnium Picks. Their Range and ADIT modes can break Bedrock, which player can then collect, and troll other users on a server by placing the bedrock around houses, doors, portals, etc.

Okay, poked around the OP's orginal formus and Wiki (which is in Japanese BTW) and via Google Transrate I fricken figured it out.

When poking around in the Caveworld you may run into a Cavnium Skeleton. Kill it, but get ready to get machine gun pelt with arrows. After you kill it, there is a chance that a MASTER Cavnium Skeleton will spawn. KILL IT WITH FIRE!! (No, SRSLY, you think the Cavnium Skeleton was a Machine Gun? Then the MASTER CAVNIUM SKELETON OF DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA is the FRICKEN HEAVY of Skeletons) KILL IT and you'll get his OP as FRICK bow which has 3 modes:

Normal: Acts like a normal bow

Rapid: Remember Mincraft Alpha's Bows? Yeah, enjoy.

Torch: Acts like a normal bow, but where the arrow lands, it places a torch! (Uses 1 Arrow and 1 Torch)

TO ENTER THE AQUATIC CAVES YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE:

1,000 Mining Points (Just re-mine Iron ore you placed if you are that lazy)

Slain BOTH the Cavnium Skeleton and MASTA OF DAKKA Cavnium Sleleton

Have either 1 Cavnium, Refined Cavnium or Aquamarine.

    Step 1:

Jump into the void with 1K mining points to enter the Deep Caves

Step 2: Take a dip in the lakes in the Deep Caves

Step 3: Pull out the Cavnium, Refined Cavnium, or Aquamarine and RIGHT CLICK (This action uses it so make sure you have two so you can get back!)

Step 4: Congratulations! You are now in the Aqua Cave World!

    Aqua Cave World:

It's completely flooded with magical water (it's just water...) that doesn't drown you! Movement quick. Mining Speed underwater doesn't slow you down either! The ore spawn rate is the same as the cave world, except Aquamarine spawns at a 3 times rate than other ores. If you hold down Shift you can even hover underwater! (Neat!)

To leave the Aqua Cave World, pull out either Cavnium, Refined Cavnium, or Aqamarine and right click!

    posted a message on CandyCraft 1.8 & 1.8.9 Released

This is a very nice mod. I like the entire Candy Theme.

I did find some bugs in version: 1.3

    ---BUGS---

Licorice blocks can't be crafted back into 9 Licorice.

Dark Marshmallow Planks, when dug up, transform into normal Marshmallow Planks. (This make building something out of Dark Marshmallow a pain in the ****.) This bug also happens with all other Marshmallow Plank Variants.

When Placing Raspberry Plants underwater, they will eventually disappear and the Flower Blocks turn into Pudding Blocks.

    ---IDEAS---

    Here are some cool things that could be added;

Candy Coal, essentially it is Charcoal made by Processing Marshmallow Logs in a Sugar Furnace, which can be used to make Honey Torches.

You could change the name of Honey Torches to Candy Torches...or not. Just wouldn't make much sense calling a torch made with Candy Coal a Honey Torch.

Some sort of Candy Valley Variant of Strongholds and Mineshafts. Abandoned Sugar Mines and a Licorice Stronghold with Licorice Brick Stairs and Slabs. How about a Licorice Castle, made with Licorice Blocks, Stairs, and Slabs instead?

Different Candy Fish that you can fish, with a Marshmallow Fishing Rod. Honestly I though the Dragibus on a stick was used of this. Hurrpity Derp!

Replace water with SODA, that would be AWESOME!

Honey + sugar furnace = beeswax. Can be crafted into strings and wax bottles.

Soda Bucket + Wax Bottle = Bottled Soda, restores 0.5 hunger, grants Speed I and Haste I for a duration, but then inflicts Slowness I and Mining Fatigue afterwards. (Think of the Soda Candies in Wax Bottles)

Replace Lava with Hot Chocolate; it acts like Lava in Sugar Furnaces, it is able to process 100 items per use. Fuel slot replaces Hot Chocolate bucket with an empty one.

Wax Bucket. If the player puts lava in this, when they place the lava, the bucket is destroyed! (As the wax melts) Placing a Lava Wax Bucket in a furnace, etc also doesn't return a bucket Uh...PEZ dust already does this, LOL.

Ice cream Blocks, and Ice cream "snow" blocks. Just normal Ice Cream. You can craft Ice Cream blocks with Strawberries, Blueberries, and Mint to make their variants.

Banana Split Food Item: Crafted With: 1=Chocolate 2=Banana (Seaweed) 3=Ice Cream (Any Flavor)

    X1X

    X2X

    X3X

Ice Cream, Blueberry Ice Cream, Strawberry Ice Cream, Mint Ice Cream

SHAPELESS: Ice Cream (Any) + Waffle = Ice Cream Cone

Ice Cream Cone + Chocolate = Chocolate Ice Cream Cone

Ice Cream Cone/Chocolate Ice Cream Cone + Dragibus = Ice Cream with Sprinkles/Chocolate Ice Cream Cone

Advanced sugar Furnace: It can double candy ore (1 ore = 2 resource) and has 2 input and output slots.

Marshmallow Tree Tap and Caramel Sap Spots

Very Similar to the way Rubber Trees work in Industrial Craft 2, Caramel Trees can have "Sap" blocks that regenerate over time, and can be tapped with a Marshmallow Tree Tap to fill the Tree Tap with Caramel Syrup. You can then craft the Marshmallow Tree Tap (Filled) with a Bucket or Wax Bucket to get Caramel.

Caramel Rods: Two Caramel Blocks, gives 4 caramel rods.

Wax String+ Caramel Rods in the shape of a bowl = Caramel Bow

Gummy Berry Juice: Gummy + Wax Bottle, gives Jump Boost II (Yes, this is a reference to The Gummy Bears Cartoon)

Replace Stone with Candy Stone? It could be used in making Pop Rocks, and Rock Candy.

    ----

Or perhaps I should figure out how to have a mod that I could create work with your mod and add those things. I could call it HFCS: The mod that makes CandyCraft even sweeter. Yes, HFCS as in High-Fructose Corn Syrup.

Anyway, I like the mod, and I hope you continue to work on it. It has allot of potential.

posted a message on Dark World

I recently found and downloaded your mod from your curse forge page. Upon playing around with it I ran into a problem; how do you get Compressed Peculiar Dust? Arranging a 3x3 Peculiar Dust (Blocks) in a Crafting Table didn't "Compress" it. Is there some other cryptic way to get the Compressed Peculiar Dust needed to make the portal?

    posted a message on Ars Magica 2 - Version 1.4.0.009 (Updated February 8, 2016)
Using AM2-1.4.0.006 I found out that I can't craft spells!

The crafting altar takes the blank rune, but as soon as I need to throw in the vintium dust, it lags my game and causes a bunch of sound events and particles but doesn't take the vintium dust. So the only way I can get spells is to cheat. Good thing I'm not playing on a server. >.>

Hopefully this will be fixed in the next update.

How do you get the tier 4 rocket schematic outside of creative mode? Is there an asteroid dungeon, or does it come from the Mars Dungeon chest?

I found two annoying bugs with Ars Magica 2 1.3.008 for 1.7.2

First of all, when you create a spell book for crafting spells, it doesn't return a written book, but rather a book and quill that's been renamed, and the lectern won't accept it until you right click the book, click sign, and then name it.

Secondly every time a new compendium entry is unlocked, the achievement unlocked window will scroll down and display the message; achievement.compendiumData.desc" and will not go away until I exit and world and re-enter it.

I don't want to disable the unlocking of compendium entries as a workaround because I don't want everything exposed to me right away, I enjoy the sense or progression.

I do like the removal of "spell casting modes" and having them replaced with "spell form modes" so I can have one dig spell be set to touch, projectile, and projectile+AOE without having to create three separate spells. Also having the ability to add modifiers like Feather Touch, Mining Power, etc is a nice addition.
