Hey, I've been having a few issues with my server. Firstly, I've done quite a few things to try and fix the issue like using MCEdit to delete and then regenerate the chunks.
::what the problem is and other info::
-The broken chunks are all within a 200 block radius of each other and in pairs (two touching at each location, There are 4 total) all near spawn
-Anything I build Is removed and set back to a prior time after leaving the area, Even entities like villagers
-Problem started Sometime during one of the snapshots
-The world is over a year old
-I Can ONLY Modify The Chunks And Have The Progress STAY By Using MCEDIT
-The world was created using World Painter so starting a new world is a big no no
-all 4 Chunks had custom villagers summoned into them with command blocks
-Said villagers were flagged "Invulnerable" by MCEdit since they are in the middle of the server's main market hub
-Its not unbearable, just annoying as all hell
EDIT:Server may have crashed when some of the villagers in said chunks failed to spawn
Any advice?
After looking in the one place I didn;t think to, this is the message I get when rendering the chunk.

Um you can repost it on reddit also you must not ask for votes.
Well if the votes are the only thing that matter.... gah. This is why i never tried reddit before. I also have to get "Comment Karma" to even post anything in the suggestion section where the Devs can see it. Otherwise I'm stuck in the heap of people talking about all sorts of random things, from "This looks cool", to "Creepers in Skyrim".
I assume because you could be a Blaze, go through a Portal, and burn everything. Creepers could be set so they can only detonate within range of a player to prevent griefing but Nether mobs are basically griefing machines.
See, There we go. those are good reasons.
Now here is my BIGGEST suggestion for this thread.
Spacing.
Try and get it organised.
Not many people are willing to read a large block of text. you need to break it into paragraphs.
Have you posted this to reddit yet? The devs have only really commented on one suggestion and that is cubic chunks, and yet I see them all over the reddit all the time. So your largest chance of this being added is through reddit (kinda sad that they hardly ever check this page)
Ey. But do you think that the suggestion is finally ready? all move/attack sets are balanced and well calculated?
I am sorry if I came off as offencesive, I was simply stating that I wasn't overly fond of the texture, thatwas my imput, other than that I have full support- I was just saying that Minecraft has very simple textures, and I like that about it. Not that this would ruin it, but when I have entertained the idea of more golems in the past, I always imagined them the same as an iron golem, but wih gold colors... Again, sorry if I came off as being offencive or acting like a hater. It is a good suggestion!
Mojang would have to because of copyright reasons. Actually let me re-phrase that "have" to a "would". Even if you gave them permission to use it, they would not just to be on the safe side. Besides, you gave them the idea, least they can do is code and texture it right
Yeah, but I don't want to have to install/create a texture pack just to get rid of a single ugly texture.
You don't seem to get what i mean. The texture there is just an idea. Mojang is most likely going to change it if they add it to the game. Disliking a suggestion because "I don't like the texture/sprites" is a rather shallow reason....

That was in the thread at one point. I think it was removed when /summon became a thing.
Yes, But the only one Iv'e heard back from is an offer from a few days ago.
and I'll have to figure out how to reddit now haha.
EDIT:
THE THREAD IS NOW ON REDDIT! GO GIVE YOUR SUPPORT!
https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/2xrsw7/desert_temple_guardian_reddit_edition_suggestion/Nevermind that! They locked it instantly! Apperantly I broke some vague rule.

And if you really think its ready, I suppose i'll try to get it posted it after work.

Although I think Mesa Biomes should still be barren. =)
Try to get some pictures and a poll, Maybe change the thread to "New Passive Mob (Camel)" or something. Figure out the "Niddy Gritty".
And this is for you =p
Health:
12 ()
Movement:
3-4 Meters per second
-Camels evade Cacti
Drop:
Leather 0-3
1-4
Usable Items:
Saddle
Chest plus contents (This part is my suggestion to add)

I was about to say the exact same thing.
Aside from that, Why can't players control nether mobs? =o

Understandable. =)
heh

Exactly =)

(Because that is the absolute most shallow reason to "NoSupport" a thread)
I give my Support.
I would love to see this in game.
