However, her parents would have known and I suppose some of the implication is still apparent with the family having found their place in Barkamsted. Even still, its impact could factor into how the parents adjusted to the human city and the views on Pact races they may have passed onto Tara. It could be a very minor thing, or it could have been a formative part of her early childhood where the family refused service to an orc or goblin. I think it would ultimately be a good thing to include.
As well as this, I do want to note that since you didn't fill out a magic application, Tara would not be able to use its gift later on. Elves are a highly attuned race to magic, and it is more rare for them to not be capable of such. It is ultimately your choice, so just take this as a short reminder!

Did his family or kinsmen ever come to the decision that they could thrive among the western cultures? It is only mentioned in the last portion of the biography that he decided to leave his home, but does this mean the desert or merely his family? Had he or those he was related to chose in favor of remaining separate from the Alliance races, it is unlikely he would have left the deserts during this time to see the full frontal force of the outbreak that spread through the major cities, most namely Barkamsted. If he did at whatever point move to the cities, I would like to see how that transition came about. Describing how he found his place within Barkamsted/Falkvard, what sort of people he met, or who he reported to as a scout against the masses of undead would all be beneficial to bringing out more of Skrimp's backstory.
Alternatively you could scrap out the portion with the plague if Skrimp would have still lived in the mesas at that time. I see you make mention of 'the fighting halting a year ago' though it's a bit vague which conflict this pertains to. If you are referring to the internal campaign between the tribes of orcs, it would be best to clarify that. If you go with this option then I would only ask what sort of role did he play during all of it? What impact did it make to him and his ideals? With the unexpected death of Chieftain Oomjor, a leader among the Orcs desiring further ties with western, Alliance races, a power struggle erupted that grew into an all-out war between those that sought ever-closer union, and those who wished for the mesas to remain independent of western interference, and then those who sought to begin the Pact War anew. The latter was a particular threat, aided as they were by the distant remaining Cult in undead men, monsters, and resources. While much fighting happened on the part of the Orcs, it fell to the Knights Order to aid the remnants of Oomjor's tribe, battered by the war and a new brutal leader who ruled for power alone.
After much fighting, they were victorious; the Cult once more pushed back, ties between some Orcish tribes and the Kingdom have, at least in theory, grown closer since. Yet even after the war, those Orcs that embrace change from the West are ultimately a minority; many Orcs remain that would prefer separation from Western ways, if not another war. Back in the west, the prejudices against the Pact races remain in the cities, the genocide of the Pact War understandably far from forgotten There remain some in both the East and the West who strive for mutual understanding to advance the Mesa and the Kingdom. Whether their efforts succeed, only time shall tell.

True that his father would have experienced the brunt of it more, but it is uncertain where your character grew up. Did he live in Barkamsted all his life? I think there is a lot more of the server's lore that you can incorporate, at at the very least clarify some details.

You've got a solid baseline set for an interesting character, however, there are a few things you will need to tweak in order for it to be accepted. Before even addressing Avouré though, your definition for power-gaming could use more expansion! Namely how one's interactions with other players could be considered powergaming.
When it comes to Avoure's appearance, there are quite a few issues to change considering that he is a dark elf. Black hair is truly a rare feature for the race and if you will want to have this a natural trait, then I will need to roll past a DC of 17+. If you agree to this then he may have the chance for darker hair, but if not (or if the roll does not succeed) please change this to white or lighter hair. It's possible that he simply just dyes his hair this color, but do note this if that is the case. As well as this, 6'11" is much too tall and outside of the usual range for dark-elves. They tend to fall between 5' to 6' only. When I saw his skin too, I noticed that his eyes were grey. This is also another impossible trait for dark-elves, as all of them have red eyes that vary in different shades and intensities. Truly his whole appearance has a lot to rework!
With the mention of the Pact War you're already set on the right track to following our server's lore! However, I will have to make mention that Manadh Calad fell 43 years ago by this point, making Avoure much too young to have experienced much during the earlier portions of his backstory. If you could increase his age then it would be fine, or you could rework this part to have it aware that he was only four-years-old. Dark-elves may have a brutish culture but I do highly doubt he'd have had the opportunity being this young to join the militia before the war hit Silivrenmîr.

Conrad's backstory is a lot closer to what would be expected for a character, but I must note that it is very rare that any of the Pact would have taken slaves. Their numbers were overwhelming and powerful enough to have no need for mercy. This is said here on the lore page that we have for the orcs: "With the offer of greater, fertile and pleasant lands, both the Trolls and the Goblins agreed to follow the Orcs into war against humanity, and thus marched under one banner: the Pact. No life was to be spared, and through their brutal campaign they pushed close to extinction not only humankind, but the Elves and Dwarves also, through their need to annihilate the combined forces of the newly-formed Alliance."
Any victims who were taken in would only survive a relatively period, unless they had managed to escape or were rescued sooner. As such, it is unlikely that Amabelle would have been able to give birth and continue working as a slave for the tribe for very long, seeing as she is human. His mother does not necessarily need to die, but perhaps the two could have been separated only to meet later on in life if you don't want to change too much of what you have written again? Maybe an exceptional orc pitied her? The prejudice against Conrad as a half-blood though is very spot on, so props to that!
Just so you know too, the human language is simply referred to as 'common' rather than English.

I will note though that Johann won't be starting off with the greatest amount of protection from his gambeson, and his longsword will be considered worn down. You can designate the rusted longsword that you receive from the starter kit as this, but it will need some work done to it by a smith or such to return it to proper condition.
Your application was a pleasant read and was on the right track for the most part! However, you missed an incredibly important detail relevant to the lore of Saphriel. That being the 70 year long Pact War, which had only ended almost 12 years ago now ICly. It was only after the war had ended that any orcs would have been able to walk the streets of Barkamsted, for the Pact and Alliance were forced to team up against the cult who had orchestrated the war to begin with in order to gather enough resources to open the gates of Hell. Even then, relations were tense between the races and it would take a long time before more locals of Barkamsted welcomed the orcs and goblins. Due to this, it is impossible for Conrad's mother, Amabelle, to have laid with an orc in any casual setting while the war was still ongoing.
While not only will you have to change the circumstances of his birth to better fit the lore, I would also like to see how Conrad and his mother lived their days throughout the concluding days of the war. First to address, your definitions for powergaming and metagaming will need to be expanded to more clearly convey what they mean on our server.
As for Astaroth himself, there's very little written in his character background, nevermind the fact that it completely lacks any inclusion of Saphriel's lore. As many characters know, the Pact War had a great effect on the realm and desecrated practically every village and town to the point where Barkamsted became the last safe place for Alliance races. The war itself lasted about 70 years and has ended only a mere 11 years ago IC when the Alliance and the Pact joined together to stop a greater force: the cult that orchestrated it all. Thus, it is crucial for your character's backstory to make mention of this with how they survived through this period. I would recommend a whole rework of the biography, though if you are to keep the same basis you have now, I would also advice you to tell us more about why Astaroth was bullied, how he came to think he was wrong for fighting back, why thugs burned down the farm, etc.
While you're at it as well, it should be good to see you flesh out more on Astaroth's description and personality. Such things like the color of his hair and eyes other than just dark, his exact height, style of clothing, mannerisms, values he lives by in this supposed 'righteous moral code', and many more things can add a lot more to his character.

Any computer that can run Minecraft should be able to play on the server. We honestly don't have any sort of standard or recommendation for PC specs and the like, but there are some areas of the server that can significantly drop in FPS especially with a high-res resource pack. What we do recommend is the use of Optifine, which will help optimize your Minecraft client to run better.

Did he have any chance at all to fight against demons that poured out of the opened hellgates, or had Havard still been injured during that time?
I would also say it is a bit curious that Havard has no mentioned last name. Is there any specific reason for that? If not, it would do you well to include it.

Falkvard especially was one of the very first cities to fall during the Pact War, so any villages surrounding it prior would most likely have fallen as well. It was only fairly recently within Saphriel's time that Falkvard started to rebuild to its former glory. While I see you made mention of the war, the war itself had an all-encompassing impact on all of Saphriel; we strongly encourage the backstory to reflect that, whether the character was old enough to experience the war firsthand or if they live in the aftermath of it.
My suggestion would be to alter the location of Ren's early life, perhaps living in Barkamsted itself or a bit on the outskirts. To provide some reference for the time frame, the war and its following conclusion with hellgates being opened had ended 10 years ago, making Ren himself only 11 when the conflicts at the time passed on. Even at this age could he have met a lot of strife, whether that be with his family situation--such as his parents having witnessed the war for their whole life--or society's adjustment to orcs and goblins working with the Alliance. On another note, while I would find it more interesting to expand more on the latter part of the backstory (that being his relationship with the crew and this woman he loved), it isn't completely necessary. However, doing so could help to flesh out the character and show how much of an affect this loss had on their life.

What we primarily look for in a character's backstory is the affect of the about 70 year long Pact War had on their life, family, relations, etc.. Near the war's conclusion, Barkamsted had become the last safe bastion of man. Where many cities fell, Barkamsted grew from the many refugees that fled and hoped to carry on their lives there. Thus, many characters have their roots in this city, whether they were born during the war or had lived long enough to have retreated here initially. The current timeline of the server has this war ending 10 IC years ago, with the demon wars following right after and lasting for a time before a more peaceful era arrived. This would make Sigal 12-years-old at the time the war ended, which still gives a significant amount of his early childhood to write for the backstory.
Of course, there's still a lot more to write aside from just the war's impact! I find you can really flesh out and build a character by thinking of points of interest in their history and having that story written. Things such as an early friendship, their first hunting trip, something that inspired them, etc., can all give an interesting take on how the character handled their situations and lived their life up to the time you properly roleplay as them.

First and foremost, I would like you to define powergaming more, just to show a much clearer understanding of what it means to be considered 'OP'. What you have now is rather vague by itself.
Now, onto the main bulk of the application. Much of it is written from an indistinct perspective. While it is fine at times to write in your character's voice, this often leaves out the true retelling and needed detail that an application requires. Starting with Saski's personality, I feel as if I hardly know her. Her words focus too much on imagery and the few elements of her past, which gives me little of her personality as a whole. I do like your writing and it's clear Saski is a risk taker who can be quite manipulative, but other than these two things I hardly know what to expect from the character. If you are to continue writing in this style for this section, I would advise you to flesh out and add more of the character's thoughts and sayings.
The backstory also suffers from this issue. It's too vague, with too much open and undefined. I would like to see more of the explicit, clear inclusion of the server's lore. She addresses what I believe is the Pact as a mere group of orc bandits, which is incorrect for the scale and impact of a 70 year long war. Half-elves age much slower compared to humans, where at the age of 18 for her would be closer to roughly sixteen. She will not reach adulthood until she is 27 as well. For reference of the timescale, the Pact War lasted about 72 years with the opening of the hellgates following shortly thereafter for about a year. Conrad's backstory is a lot closer to what would be expected for a character, but I must note that it is very rare that any of the Pact would have taken slaves. Their numbers were overwhelming and powerful enough to have no need for mercy. This is said here on the lore page that we have for the orcs: "With the offer of greater, fertile and pleasant lands, both the Trolls and the Goblins agreed to follow the Orcs into war against humanity, and thus marched under one banner: the Pact. No life was to be spared, and through their brutal campaign they pushed close to extinction not only humankind, but the Elves and Dwarves also, through their need to annihilate the combined forces of the newly-formed Alliance."
Any victims who were taken in would only survive a relatively period, unless they had managed to escape or were rescued sooner. As such, it is unlikely that Amabelle would have been able to give birth and continue working as a slave for the tribe for very long, seeing as she is human. His mother does not necessarily need to die, but perhaps the two could have been separated only to meet later on in life if you don't want to change too much of what you have written again? Maybe an exceptional orc pitied her? The prejudice against Conrad as a half-blood though is very spot on, so props to that!
Just so you know too, the human language is simply referred to as 'common' rather than English.

I will note though that Johann won't be starting off with the greatest amount of protection from his gambeson, and his longsword will be considered worn down. You can designate the rusted longsword that you receive from the starter kit as this, but it will need some work done to it by a smith or such to return it to proper condition.

Your application was a pleasant read and was on the right track for the most part! However, you missed an incredibly important detail relevant to the lore of Saphriel. That being the 70 year long Pact War, which had only ended almost 12 years ago now ICly. It was only after the war had ended that any orcs would have been able to walk the streets of Barkamsted, for the Pact and Alliance were forced to team up against the cult who had orchestrated the war to begin with in order to gather enough resources to open the gates of Hell. Even then, relations were tense between the races and it would take a long time before more locals of Barkamsted welcomed the orcs and goblins. Due to this, it is impossible for Conrad's mother, Amabelle, to have laid with an orc in any casual setting while the war was still ongoing.
While not only will you have to change the circumstances of his birth to better fit the lore, I would also like to see how Conrad and his mother lived their days throughout the concluding days of the war. I'm sorry to say this, but your application is far too underwhelming and will require much more to be accepted.
First to address, your definitions for powergaming and metagaming will need to be expanded to more clearly convey what they mean on our server.
As for Astaroth himself, there's very little written in his character background, nevermind the fact that it completely lacks any inclusion of Saphriel's lore. As many characters know, the Pact War had a great effect on the realm and desecrated practically every village and town to the point where Barkamsted became the last safe place for Alliance races. The war itself lasted about 70 years and has ended only a mere 11 years ago IC when the Alliance and the Pact joined together to stop a greater force: the cult that orchestrated it all. Thus, it is crucial for your character's backstory to make mention of this with how they survived through this period. I would recommend a whole rework of the biography, though if you are to keep the same basis you have now, I would also advice you to tell us more about why Astaroth was bullied, how he came to think he was wrong for fighting back, why thugs burned down the farm, etc.
While you're at it as well, it should be good to see you flesh out more on Astaroth's description and personality. Such things like the color of his hair and eyes other than just dark, his exact height, style of clothing, mannerisms, values he lives by in this supposed 'righteous moral code', and many more things can add a lot more to his character.
Any computer that can run Minecraft should be able to play on the server. We honestly don't have any sort of standard or recommendation for PC specs and the like, but there are some areas of the server that can significantly drop in FPS especially with a high-res resource pack. What we do recommend is the use of Optifine, which will help optimize your Minecraft client to run better.

Well done on this application! It holds up to the server lore very well, though there are a few rather small tweaks that you will need to make. First of these, your definition of powergaming is missing another crucial part that pertains to interacting with other characters so please do expand on this.
Another thing to address is the timeline. Currently, it has been 11 years since the wars ended, so this would make Havard 16 rather than 19 when the final push against the Pact occurred. I also found that while you mentioned him serving a bit in the conflict with the Pact, you left out any mention of the following conflict with the true orchestrators of the war: the cult. Did he have any chance at all to fight against demons that poured out of the opened hellgates, or had Havard still been injured during that time?
I would also say it is a bit curious that Havard has no mentioned last name. Is there any specific reason for that? If not, it would do you well to include it.

As for the biography, you're on the right track, yet there is a small issue with the timeline you have set up for Ren's life. Early on it is stated that he lived in a village near Falkvard, but as it so happened, Barkamsted had become the very last safe bastion of man during the concluding period of the 72-year long war. Falkvard especially was one of the very first cities to fall during the Pact War, so any villages surrounding it prior would most likely have fallen as well. It was only fairly recently within Saphriel's time that Falkvard started to rebuild to its former glory. While I see you made mention of the war, the war itself had an all-encompassing impact on all of Saphriel; we strongly encourage the backstory to reflect that, whether the character was old enough to experience the war firsthand or if they live in the aftermath of it.
My suggestion would be to alter the location of Ren's early life, perhaps living in Barkamsted itself or a bit on the outskirts. To provide some reference for the time frame, the war and its following conclusion with hellgates being opened had ended 10 years ago, making Ren himself only 11 when the conflicts at the time passed on. Even at this age could he have met a lot of strife, whether that be with his family situation--such as his parents having witnessed the war for their whole life--or society's adjustment to orcs and goblins working with the Alliance. On another note, while I would find it more interesting to expand more on the latter part of the backstory (that being his relationship with the crew and this woman he loved), it isn't completely necessary. However, doing so could help to flesh out the character and show how much of an affect this loss had on their life.

Sigal's backstory is far too short and lacks much if any inclusion of Saphriel's lore. What we primarily look for in a character's backstory is the affect of the about 70 year long Pact War had on their life, family, relations, etc.. Near the war's conclusion, Barkamsted had become the last safe bastion of man. Where many cities fell, Barkamsted grew from the many refugees that fled and hoped to carry on their lives there. Thus, many characters have their roots in this city, whether they were born during the war or had lived long enough to have retreated here initially. The current timeline of the server has this war ending 10 IC years ago, with the demon wars following right after and lasting for a time before a more peaceful era arrived. This would make Sigal 12-years-old at the time the war ended, which still gives a significant amount of his early childhood to write for the backstory.
Of course, there's still a lot more to write aside from just the war's impact! I find you can really flesh out and build a character by thinking of points of interest in their history and having that story written. Things such as an early friendship, their first hunting trip, something that inspired them, etc., can all give an interesting take on how the character handled their situations and lived their life up to the time you properly roleplay as them.

First and foremost, I would like you to define powergaming more, just to show a much clearer understanding of what it means to be considered 'OP'. What you have now is rather vague by itself.
Now, onto the main bulk of the application. Much of it is written from an indistinct perspective. While it is fine at times to write in your character's voice, this often leaves out the true retelling and needed detail that an application requires. Starting with Saski's personality, I feel as if I hardly know her. Her words focus too much on imagery and the few elements of her past, which gives me little of her personality as a whole. I do like your writing and it's clear Saski is a risk taker who can be quite manipulative, but other than these two things I hardly know what to expect from the character. If you are to continue writing in this style for this section, I would advise you to flesh out and add more of the character's thoughts and sayings.
The backstory also suffers from this issue. It's too vague, with too much open and undefined. I would like to see more of the explicit, clear inclusion of the server's lore. She addresses what I believe is the Pact as a mere group of orc bandits, which is incorrect for the scale and impact of a 70 year long war. There is brief mention of the war with demons that happened later on after the Pact War, but neither of these major conflicts appear to have any weight on Saski's life and family. The war played a large role in many characters' lives, its aftermath shedding the realm of its former glory that it is slowly attempting to rebuild. To fix this segment, I would like to see much more of Saski's life described and clarified. Some things you can consider touching open include: How was her family affected by the war? Where did they live? What was her family situation like? How close were her siblings to her before they died? Why did her parents, an elf and a human, come together to conceive a half elf such as her? How did her mother died? Who exactly is Gunner? What skills did she learn?
One last thing I thought to make note of, Saski would still be considered rather young given that she is a half-elf. Half-elves age much slower compared to humans, where at the age of 18 for her would be closer to roughly sixteen. She will not reach adulthood until she is 27 as well. For reference of the timescale, the Pact War lasted about 72 years with the opening of the hellgates following shortly thereafter for about a year. The official end of conflict was 10 years ago on the server, making Saski about 8 at the time when an era of relative peace started to take place. If you have any more questions of the lore, do ask!
