The other thing is that there has been seemingly 0 interest in the survey results. Whether this just be because no one here seems keen on having a discussion, or because it was just too much text to read and people can't be bothered, I really don't know what else to really do to try to keep people filled in. I've had people discuss the survey with me, it just hasn't been here, which again makes me wonder if I am ultimately wasting my time trying to have any sort of productive discussion here. At least it has been fairly civil since I posted the results, so that is at least a nice change in pace.
I don't think its that there is no interest nor do I think its the fact that its no one wanting to read the wall of text, I say its more likely people just don't wanna get involved with a discussion... Or they may and are just are scared to speak up. There are two things which have kept me from trying to discuss anything, first there are a couple people I wish to avoid who have been involved with the mod or server in someway, second don't take this the wrong way but Cyan you can come off as scary. I do get why you can be so harsh, if I had to deal with everything you put up with when it comes to people over the mod I would get like that to. Anywho my point with that being, I fear my own opinion or suggestion getting bashed to the ground, just not something I do well with, yeah I know I'm a scaredy cat.
As for the survey itself I really liked the idea of it, it allowed me to voice some of my ideas and thoughts while getting to remain anonymous therefore giving me really no reason to not fill it out. I am also happy that you posted the results here, I read though it and it was nice to know your thoughts on some of the things people had brought up. I'm gonna try to give some of my thoughts on some of the replies you had to things from the survey here now, I'm most likely gonna regret ever posting this but hey I gotta try to leave my comfort zone at some point. I'd also like to say sorry if my post comes off as messy I've seriously almost never used my minecraft forum account.
First thing I will comment on is the whole stats and battling thing as well as the idea of equipment. I'm fine with battling how it is, its fine, it works and doesn't bother me. I'm not sure how I feel about a point system but its not something I would be looking forward to. As for equipment I'm rather curious as to how that would work, I like the idea yes just worried that it would make things to easy. Unlike world one or next order there's not really a time limit you are fighting against, like once you get the stat where you want it to be you're digimon is not gonna die in a day after you did all that work. Do you have any ideas how you would make equipment work? and if so would you be up for sharing a bit of the plan there? Also in case you bring it up, I know there was a gym in world three but I don't remember at all how that worked, I never got anywhere in that game.
Next is how the mod can be repetitive, yeah this would be a major issue but you brought up somethings from the survey that would do something for that issue, in no way a "fix" and no would they stray to far away from what one already does but they would add a bit of a "touch up" to things. World gen villages and quests? Like yes please. Big bosses in special structures? Thats something I'd get excited for. A suggestion there, maybe another dimension that could look something like Mt.Infinity and infinite cauldron? I think that be really cool, having the void all around it just to really give it that effect. Boss ideas for that could be Armageddemon, Apocalymon or Machinedramon.
As for the digimentals I don't think those need to be changed, or need to be guarded since is there really a reason to use armor digimon as the mod is? Well tell theres no reason to make them harder to get tell dark spires are added anyways.
So I was gonna say my thoughts on more stuff but I just noticed the time, i've been writing this out for two hours and its 1am so I need to sleep. Really sorry if this post isn't helpful and just ends up being a waste of you're time, I really did not mean for it to be.

FAQ
Q. How Do I..
A. Stop right there. Your best bet is to
use the wiki, as 99% of the information contained on it is up to date.
It saves everyone from having to answer the same repeated questions over
and over again by taking a few minutes to check out the Wiki.
Q. When will you get rid of the block models and make a Pixelmon clone??
A. Never. This mod is for block game,
this mod will remain blocky. The fanciest you will ever see our models
will be the ones made by SuperFuzzyGoat. And even those are still
entirely made of blocks. We aren't Pixelmon, and we won't ever aim to
be.
Q. When will you add *insert digimon*?
A. When the model is completed. Everyone
requests something different, which makes it impossible to accommodate
everyone, which is why we don't take requests. We have an outline of
digimon in a certain priority to make. The best way to ensure the
digimon you want is put into the mod quicker than we get around to it,
is to make it and submit it to our forum.
Q. Help! My digimon is bugged and I can't make it move!
A. It's starving. Feed it.
Q. HELP! I can't do anything with my digimon it's bugged helphelphelp
A. You didn't go to the wiki, did you?
Q. I don't like you/when will the mod kick you out/you're ruining this mod.
A. This mod is mine, and has been mine
from the very beginning. Many people have joined and left the team
throughout the years, and I'm sure many more will follow. If you do not
like what I do, leave constructive criticism
and I will take your feedback into consideration. Being
demanding/otherwise acting like an entitled brat will just get you put
on my ignore list.
Things are going to be changed and adjusted constantly until I am
happy, and the majority of the users are happy with the product. You can
either contribute to it, or be a nuisance.
Q. Where can I find you if I want to have a serious discussion about things in the mod/leave a bug report/help out with the mod?
A. We now have a discord exactly for this! Come on by and check us out.
The Digimobs Team

SuperFuzzyGoat - Goat Modeller extraordinare
Special Thanks To
Angelseye - While not being an official member of the team, has cranked out models quite consistently, and has taken steps to improve them constantly.
All other model contributors - Without you, progress on getting every digimon in this thing would be a lot slower.

This guy gets it.
I no longer maintain the page on the MC Forum(except to announce new updates, which is what I'm doing now. Go download it.).
If you want to follow updates, discord is about the only place I'm at, so you're free to come there. Maybe if there is a revitalization of these forums, I'll go back to posting here, but it doesn't look likely.

The Awakening update is now live! Featuring the Awakening mechanic, the return of equipment for digimon, and some much needed TLC to Jogressing.
Changelogs can be found in the usual places on Discord and CurseForge.

You'll need to either get lucky and find an egg with the line you want, or open up new evolution routes. See the changelogs for details.

Knew I was forgetting to do something, it was post here.
In case you missed it, Digimobs for 1.12.2 was released last week. And a bug fix was just uploaded today. You can find changelogs on the download page, and also our discord. And let's face it, you're only going to stay up to date if you are part of the discord. Links to all of the above are in the OP. Cheers.

So here's an update on the status of things right now, mostly because I can't seem to get any peace to actually work on issues from (primarily the technic crowd) blowing up the comments of the modpack and spamming in hopes of getting an answer.
For some reason, there is a rather critical issue with the world saving in this new update. This is something that has not shown up in the workspace that I test the mod in. It's not something that's giving any relevant error reports to fix. This is not something that I could have had any foresight into figuring out until it was actually released.
I don't really have the time right now to spend days and hours on end playing guessing games to figure out why this is happening, and quite frankly I don't have the passion or motivation to do so. Something between "SURPRISE, ERRORS!" and waking up to 20 messages from the same 4 people asking why they can't download the modpack has me a little apathetic.
I'll be reverting the download link, the modpack, and the server back to 0.9.8f. I'll let everyone know when the pre-release will be back up for download, but for now I think I'll go back to taking a break.

August Newsletter:
Haven't done one of these in quite a while, but let's talk about Digimobs, and whereabouts the next update is. As I briefly mentioned in my war on stupid people post around two months ago(Re: Wahh mod is dead because no update), my intention for 0.9.9 was to take my time with it, and release it in time as I felt it was complete.
Well, things have changed a little bit.
Recently, my workload has been getting a little bit larger, and this has meant less time for Digimobs. Also, I have begun some long term changes to Digimobs, which also has ended up taking a lot more time to get right than I anticipated. This is mostly in regards to adding ambient sounds to the Digimobs. I know, I know, 6 years later and Digimobs will finally have sounds. Anyway, it's been a lot more tedious converting these to proper formats for Minecraft, and getting one ready for each digimon. Basically what I am saying is that I've had burnout hitting me from a lot of different angles, because I have too many irons in the fire.
What I have decided to do is to finish up what I have, and release a "pre-release" of 0.9.9. Let's face it, there are some bugs that need fixing, and people are pestering me about all the new digimon I keep posting on The Digimobs Twitter. I might as well just go ahead and release what is finished, and then continue working on some of the long term things(like the sounds), as they are finished.
So here's kind of a rough estimate timeline, mostly for all the people saying "Gimme dat Apollomon" to be disappointed with.
Next Saturday, 8-12-17: Digimobs 0.9.9 Pre-Release. The update known as "Angels and Demons" as I've been dubbing it. Featuring an upgrade of a certain feline line, the inclusion of Lilithmon, Ophanimon, and Mastemon. Oh yeah, and the Veedramon line, but that certainly doesn't fit the theme.
And then a certain secret line some fans might enjoy.
A little further out: Inevitable bug fixes to the Pre-Release, most likely featuring some miscellaneous digimon, as well as the inclusion of a full line for Floramon(Thanks to Angelseye for working so diligently on Kiwimon and Deramon specifically).
Even further out: Digimobs 0.9.9(Possibly Pre-Release 2, or maybe a full Release? TBD) Known as the DS Update. As some people have already seen on The Digimobs Twitter page, models for this update are already well under way. These including the featured digimon in the Nintento DS era of digimon games, such as Coronamon's line, the rest of Hyokomon's line, Dracomon's line, and of course the big bad villain Chronomon himself.
Basically what I am saying, is that we're pretty clearly not dead. We already have update plans throughout the rest of the year. It's just going to be a little slower than usual. To combat that, I'm going to hopefully stop trying to plan some large updates, as they never seem to go the way I plan anyway. If and when this mod does die, don't worry. I'll be pretty upfront about it and just say "We're closed".
Also don't worry, we're not popular enough to get a cease and desist letter.
tl;dr version: 0.9.9 Pre-Release next Saturday! I post teasers all over our Twitter Page for those that didn't catch the hint the first two times I linked it!

Drop rates vary from1% to 35% based on the form of the digimon. Baby bosses obviously having the lowest drop rate, and mega bosses having the highest.
This is generally a conflict that comes with using WAILA. You'll want to remove that.
Couple of other notes while I'm here.
I've decided to spice up the poll a little bit. I will be slowly deleting options over time based on the amount of votes they are getting. For instance all those that have had 0 votes up until this point are now..gone. And so in another week or so, I will remove the ones that have only received one vote. I will keep doing this until we have two or three options left, because I would like a majority vote. So if you want your digimon line to stay in the running..make sure to vote ASAP.
I've been kind of busy this week, so I don't really have anything new to add here, so I will just be posting pictures that I've been putting up on Twitter, as I'm sure they will at least generate some interest until I get a little less busy.
