    posted a message on HD Player Skins | It's back!
    Sorry can't be bothered thoroughly reading stuff but I was wondering before I install this mod, if I can keep my vanilla skin on and then have a separate HD skin on the mod. So people with vanilla see one skin and people with HD see my HD skin :P Probably a stupid question.

    The standard paradigm for this would be to have two macros, one in onChat and the other on a key.

    In onChat
    $${
    IF(@chatlog);
    LOGTO("%SERVER%-%DATE%-chat.txt","[%TIME%] %CHATCLEAN%");
    ENDIF;
    }$$

    Note that LOGTO requires that the file name end in .txt and you cannot specify any other folders to write to, it will only write to "logs" under the macros folder. This is a security measure and cannot be altered.

    On any key you want to use to toggle:
    $${
    TOGGLE(@chatlog);
    IF(@chatlog);
    LOG("&eChat logging &aenabled");
    ELSE;
    LOG("&eChat logging &cdisabled");
    ENDIF;
    }$$

    Thanks a ton Mumfrey! I'm amazed that your still active on this thread still helping all the noobs XD

    Just wondering if someone could make a macro so that when I toggle it on there's a message just on my client that says it's on and that will log everything in the chat to a text file with a time stamp and another message that says it's been toggled off, when of course you toggle it off.

    ...That has existed for a long time.., they're called configurations

    if you name it after the server ip (by ticking the checkbox), it even switches automatically

    See the green and white text in the upper middle:

    A config contains pretty much ALL your custom information (bindings and stuff), with the exception of keyboard and GUI layout
    ...and global variables, i think

    ohhhhh haha, thanks :P

    I suggest adding pages for your macros so you when you change to a different server you can just switch over to the macros page that you have set up for it. Being able to name those pages would also be nice.

    You have several options...
    without using text files, you can't use line breaks, so you must separate commands by semicolons instead
    that means you can bind to a button the following:
    $${Toggle(flag);Do();Sprint();While(flag)}$$

    You can also use a text file for readability, this is especially useful for longer scripts
    in that case you can use line breaks instead of semicolons (or both if you want)
    However, you then need to bind a "file include", it's a special pattern that the mod replaces with the contents of the file
    your binding would look like this:
    $${$$<script.txt>}$$

    and your file like this:

    Toggle(flag)
    Do()
    Sprint()
    While(flag)

    (the indent for Sprint() is optional, but it's good practice to indent "blocks" to show that the commands around it have an effect on all the commands inside
    in this case, Do();While(flag) makes all the commands inside it repeat... (just sprint in this script), as long as "flag" is set to True

    ---

    By the way, $${ }$$ are script tags.., they tell the mod to read it as a script, as opposed to a message (normally if you bind stuff it says it in chat, this is the exception to that)
    anything() is the pattern for a command
    the parentheses can contain "parameters", which is additional explanation of what to do
    For example, simply telling the mod to Look or Look() is ambiguous..., look where?
    that's why it has two required parameters, pitch and yaw.., using which you specify *where* to look
    ...for example
    Look(270,90)

    Finally.., every command must be separated from every other.., either by semicolons, or line breaks
    and that's all there is to understanding scripts, basically

    Hey, thanks man

    I'm kinda new to coding, where do I put this? like in a .txt or just in the little box or without the '$${' and '}$$'.

    posted a message on Shaders Mod (updated by karyonix)
    Quote from EskimoNoise

    You need this mod, the corresponding version of Optifine and a shaderpack (usually Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders)
    Here are all the files you'll need to install it for 1.4.7 to 1.5.2
    You have 2 options, Magic Launcher or manually inserting the files into your Minecraft.jar

    For MagicLauncher:
    Put your copies of Optifine and Karyonix GLSL mod into your mods folder, if you don't have one, make one.
    Fire up Magic Launcher and create and name a new config
    Add Optifine first, then add Karyonix, click OK to save the setup. (RC7 is already inside the shaders folder in the Karyonix.zip)
    Launch the game, click Options - Shaders and click (internal)
    That's it, you're done.

    Manual Install:
    Open minecraft.jar with winrar or a similar program
    Open the Optifine.zip and drag the contents into minecraft.jar Close Optifine in winrar
    Open the Karyonix.zip and drag the contents into minecraft.jar Close Karyonix in winrar
    Delete the META-INF folder from the minecraft.jar Close Minecraft.jar in winrar
    Launch the game, click Options - Shaders and click (internal)
    That's it, you're done.

    To use other shader versions:

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\shaderpacks\SEUS\shaders - create the bolded folders and put the shader files in the shaders folder
    You can select them by clicking Options - Shaders and then clicking on the name of the folder you named before shaders eg. SEUS

    Lol, you saved me from coming here and complaining too XD
