I assume you mean WorldPainter itself is laggy (not the generated map in Minecraft). Are you saying it has become slower than it was in the previous version? That's not good, I try to increase the performance, not decrease it.Could you give some more detail about what exactly is slow, so I can look into it? (Scrolling? Moving the brush? Using the tools?) How slow is it? Also, can you tell me exactly which operating system you use, and what your hardware is like (how much RAM? what CPU? which graphics card and how much video RAM)?The old versions are still available for download, you can just take one of the URL's from the first post and replace the 0.4 with 0.3.2 (the previous version). You'll lose a lot of functionality though, and you will have to cancel the upgrade every time you start it.
No, itself WorldPainter isn't laggy, but when u open big map (I forget, but size near 22x33 chunks) it begins laggy, Very very slow scrolling, tools use after 10 secs or more. It very slow, i cann't work with map. I use windows 7, i5 650, gtx 460 with 1gb and 4 gb RAM. I configure programme and it use 1500mb RAM memory. And there aren't some lags on previously versions of programme.
