What are elements? I thought the world consisted of numbers representing digital objects in an alternating 2D and 3D environment. Seriously, get real people.
Has anyone ever considered 24x resolution? I've been testing it with the latest MCPatcher and except for 16x mod items it seems to not have any issues. This could be a solution to anyone who thinks that 16x is too pixelated but 32x is too detailed. (and yes, I've tested with custom textures, not just resized vanilla ones.)
Also, animated textures via MCPatcher are entertaining to make and test.
I actually said the Digimon Wikia, not Wikipedia. As in, this. It happened to be the first thing that popped into my head.
I am fairly sure that it isn't that wrong, seeing as how it is solely dedicated to Digimon.
Now, if you want, I'll go break out and find actual sources for you if you want, since you don't seem to believe me.
It's nice that your friend is one of those pokemon fans that believes Digimon ripped it off, but they have very few things in common.
Also, for the record, Wikipedia is actually more credible than "My friend said".
I'm sorry, my misunderstanding. I'm tired and only think I know what I'm talking about. (Note to self, do not post on forums while under the influence of fatigue)
So..I almost only read the top part, and was about to throw you an angry rant, but no. Not a rip off.
It actually came before Pokemon. Digimon was a sort of spin off of the Tamagachi pets, and then later broke off into an anime/card game/video game.
There isn't really anything similar between Pokemon and Digimon other than they both end in "mon"
I encourage a read at the Digimon wikia page. It has a lot of information over..everything.
Wait, you read Wikipedia?
Are you sure what you think you know is what you know you think?
Wikipedia is often very wrong.
I've been told that there's been a behind the scenes war between Pokemon fans and Digimon fans for a while now regarding Wikipedia and the truthfulness of their pages.
But hey, I don't really care. If either came first it won't change anything to me. I just want to see where this mod progresses to.
Wait. In what way are Griffons relevant to Caverns? I thought they were flying creatures. Short of bats, not a lot flies around underground. (Now, bat-griffons. That would be awesome.)
Also, I thought modders use ModLoader to increase compatibility verses working with the source code. Not the opposite. I'm pretty sure that's the whole point of Modloader in the first place.
ModLoader Beta 1.8.1
A mod, kind of like a mod manager, that stops conflicts with mods that alter rendering, recipes, add entities, gui, smeltables or fuel.
Highlights regarding reference. Risugami has also said things about blocks and more advanced systems etc. in addition to that list but I couldn't find the specific reference.

Also, there's MinecraftForge.
Good luck in your modding sir.
