INFO
I will review maps on length, design, story, and difficulty. Here's an example:
Length- 4/5-It's 40 mins, which is great, however, it could be a little longer.
Design-5/5-It has really great visuals.
Story-1/5-There is no story.
difficulty-2/5- It is a somewhat easy map; it could be a little more challenging.
Total-12/20

Great job, dude! I really think you could have a good custom map future if you can make maps like this. Length is one of my only nitpicky things, but it is your first map, so I understand.
P.S. Is it possible you could take off the 1974 (doesn't seem right when my youtube username changed)? At least for the forum thread, that is.
Thanks Linkruler! And yes, it's definitely short, but I didn't want to bite off more than I could chew for my first try. (I'll get the name updated for you.)
Developer's Commentary video now released! See below vvv
"Trapped In Innsmouth" is a short Minecraft puzzle map that is inspired by the stories of H.P. Lovecraft (see in-game book for backstory). The map uses custom textures and sounds, as well as new 1.7 mechanics for Command Blocks!
Since this is my very first map, any and all constructive feedback is appreciated.
You may need to poke around a bit to progress. Not everything is as it seems.
Expect around 15 minutes of gameplay.
If you enjoyed the map, please “Vote Up” this post to help me out!
Play in Minecraft 1.7 or recent snapshots

Smooth Lighting is recommended

Here, this contains the device (I just exported it directly from my world) and the sound file.
I've imported the schematic into a map I'm working on and the circuit doesn't work. Is there any pre-configuring I need to do as far as scoreboard settings or anything?
I don't suppose you have any screenshots or a video or anything for us to go by, do you? That would make it so much easier. Otherwise do you remember any other details? Resolution? What site you found it on? Any details will help in tracking it down.
Sadly I only remember it's existence I know it was here on the MC forums, probably just the standard resolution. Current packs I've seen sometimes have Lovecraftian artwork mixed in, but this was a pure-bred pack that Howard Phillips would have been proud of.
Hey there Forumites; I'm hoping to get some help from you guys. I remember that a number of months ago (pre-resource pack days) there used to be a Lovecraftian/Cthulhu-esque texture pack that had some great painting artwork. I remember there being paintings of both H.P. Lovecraft and Cthulhu himself, to name a few. I've been searching the forums with no luck, only finding "Eldritch", "Mythos", "VulpinThulhu", etc. Does anyone have any idea what pack I'm referring to, and where it could be found? You would have my eternal gratitude.

Hey there! If anyone's interested, PmsProxy and I are doing an SMP playthrough of Legendary, in the same version of Minecraft it was created for. That's right, 1.7.3 Beta, baby! Check it out if you want some nostalgia to hit you right in the feels:

I would love to hear what you think about my first map I just released! Just as a heads-up it's pretty short though.

What's your issue? It worked fine for me a few days ago.

Because of other stuff I have going on with the channel, it won't be going up until Saturday. Loving the map so far, though!
