My server is just for my friends and I. I don't have a lot of friends so I just host it with Hamachi directly on my computer/network. I have looked up several guides and followed them step for step. All of them say to use a direct download link from wherever you got the file.
I've seen several topics that have the same problem as mine in my search but never any solutions. :/
Hm. I run a FTB server and though I can make this pack run smoothly in my client, I'm having issues getting it to become an automatic part of my server.
I understand how its supposed to work. You're supposed to open up the server properties while the server is off. Then you're supposed to click the download link (I use the backup mirror for skaia with the planets) and hit copy link location.
Then you go to "texture-pack= " found in the properties and paste the link. Then save the properties and close and it should automatically ask if your players want to use the pack when they log on.
For me the folder currently looks like this: "texture-pack=https\://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/4559980/mcresources/version1-7/SkaiaSunPlanetMoons.zip%20extracting.zip"
Yet no such results. Everything remains vanilla textured. I tried removing the \ from the hyperlink since there was some concern that might be causing the problem but no luck.
Advice? I can't tell if this is an issue with the pack or the gosh darn server. :/
