    posted a message on can someone help me find my end portal?

    so im using the Seed :Testament


    I have it on large biomes settings. within Testament there is two dark oak mansions under 1 of them is the stronghold basically being the basement to the mansion.. ive depleted all my tnt trying to find the portal itself.. and still no luck. I know the pearl just leads you to the stronghold not the portal... but i cant find the freaken portal.. i know on another seed i use the portal room was in it's own detatched hidden area.. a distance from the actual stronghold... but i dont want to go all day laying down tnt in creative to blind find the portal.. so can anyone help? I'm unable to copy the map and put it on my laptop since my laptop only lets me use forums, or watch shows it wont play games at all.. I'd really apreciate knowing where the end portal is on the map..

    posted a message on looking for a old Redstone gate. i lost the youtube tutorial.. can any help me find it?

    So a ways back i had been using a unique Gate i fell in love with, but i lost the URL to the youtube vid i first found it on.. The Gate used NO sand, Gravel or even Sticky pistons.. it was Just Norm pistons, Fence, Fence gates, redstone torche. and whatever build blocks.. It was a large sideways but thin door.. i think it was 4 pistons tall, and 3 rows to both sides facing eachother.. you press a button and it has the gate to have only the gate doors show, before closing behind you as you go through it.



    I'm not into the chunky redstone doors, and this one didnt use slime. it is fast and reliable for the pvp/town server im on.. i'd apreciate if others could help me find the vid again.. it was before Slime blocks were in the game.

    So I like the observer block.. so i made this..

    its very simple when you look at it.. you dont need the redstone lamps at all, but for me i have the rows up since when 1 activates all the others then occur as a chain, thus your see a light moving from 1 side to the other side. it has a nice yield.. Also a random thing. stone no longer runs a redstone current o.O my method i use for this is easy for me.. I havent figured a cactus build yet since the most effient means for cactus is a vanilla no redstone device.. and melons/pumkins are a easy easy setup..


    in my pics what happens is cane grows before the observer, then the observer detects emits a pulse that then hits the redstone dust behind it.the dust then activates the piston below the observer thus harvesting. From the moment the back redstone pulses it feeds into a connected repeater that then activates the following pistons. in quick succession. the means i have posted lets you continiously harvest. the ones after the "activated" observer dont have to be at full 3 block high to be harvested since pistons are at 2 high.


    Though if you reference my top pic. you can have 2 high growth chambers with a block atop.to prevent a 3 high for the ones following then have the only observer/piston combo to look like my pics above being 3 high. by the time the 3 high is at 3 high all the rest will be 2 high. and when the first becomes 3 high it harvests all of them..


    So what do you guys think of my sugar cane farm? it can be as long as you want.

    posted a message on Did they remove "Secret bookcases? and the accessing chests thru stairs in 1.9?

    So in 1.8.1 i have a door to my house which has a chest behind 2 stairs. and i also have minecart with chests inside bookcases. i cant figure how to get them to work in 1.9.. i hope its just server lag for the server im on, but did they get rid of those 2 tricks?

    i have a strange question, i created my world and spawned on a medium sized island in the middle of a large lake surronded by tainted land. the island has its tundra biome. and i built my base there being what i believe to be the safest area. but.. despite being in the middle of the lake, am i safe from the taint? or will it eventually spread to my island? also if i leave a vehicle in the tainted land will the taint destroy it for like i have a helicopter or airship

    as for my second question.. pechs if i locate a pech and place a nametag on it it wont despawn right?

    if u do create a better one make sure. it doesnt just spawn in all the xenos as if they are vanilla mobs.. have it where the player has to do something to set loose the xenos. like maybe a pyramid spawns under the ground somewhere and you "accidently release them"

    im seeking to create a single player world for me to enjoy.

    im using atm. Sword art online UI, Advanced warfare, Sync, Smart moving, sg craft,big trees, shaders, and mr crayfish furniture..

    i need a tech mod, a enemy mob based mod, but no enemy mobs that have the IQ of a Slime.. if i can kill it with just abusing a pillar.. then im bored already. i want things to make fortifying my base worth the effort. a need to make sure my base is solid...
