    Sorry if I at all seemed like I was being rude, but well I love stalker and I've actually been to Chernobyl.

    If I could make a few ideas;
    The water should be blue but with a distinct muddied look, same as in Yantar and Dark Valley.
    I believe Pigs should become Fleshes (Or otherwise Giant Boars), because that's what they became in the game. http://stalker.wikia.com/wiki/Flesh
    Spiders should become Snorks. http://stalker.wikia.com/wiki/Snork
    Zombies and skeletons should become zombified Stalkers (Because Zombified stalkers could still shoot, and normal zombie stalkers appear in early builds of the game) http://stalker.wikia.com/wiki/Zombified_Stalkers
    Sheep could be Psi-dogs http://stalker.wikia.com/wiki/Chernobyl_Dog
    Creepers could be poltergiests http://stalker.wikia.com/wiki/Poltergeist
    Chickens could be Rodents http://stalker.wikia.com/wiki/Rodent
    Cows could be pseudogiants http://stalker.wikia.com/wiki/Pseudogiant
    Either cobble stone or Smooth stone could be Concrete Roads, and gravel should be the same, however it should be cracked concrete.

    There, that should be the sum of my ideas with their respctive links so you can get an idea going for what should be what. I'm in support of this.
    Any chance that you could make this make 32-bit?

    It appears that in my world, the birds (And 1 pegasus) wings flap in 360 arcs. It looks rather silly. Hope this helps.

    on my new Beta map (Because on my main world i'm waiting for DrZharks Horses) I spawned on a smal indent of sand in the middle of the forest. The only source of sand in my world is a (Very beautiful) river running through a little valley I found.

    As for the arguments, both sides are giving rational points. However, it should be noted that map generation is somewhat random. That being said, we'll have 2 theoretical players, player A and Player 1 (Because there's no real difference between the two themselves).

    Player A spawned on the outskirts of a desert biome, the desert is huge and endless (near as he can tell) however to his left is a patch of grass with a small forest w/ an oasis. The tree's provide enough wood for him and saplings to plant more trees than he needs. But player A lacks a signifigant amount of flowers, and is pretty sure that the dessert will take at least 10 minutes to find another biome with suitable resources, and is nervous of creepers.

    Player 1 spawned on a patch of sand in the middle of a forest. He has an abundance of lumber and has many flowers. As he collects and uses those flowers on his new tree fort he notes that he cannot obtain glass due to using all of his original sand torturing chickens for there evil deeds. He hasn't the foggiest clue where to find the ocean or a desert and is left with simply going about his buisness of chicken torture with only his hands.

    Due to the randomness of the terrain generator it is impossible to guarentee a surplus or dearth of any particular block (Excluding air of course), therefore both sides of the argument can be thought of as both correct and incorrect; otherwise known as Schrodinger's Block.

    How dare you make a fallout inspired texture pack. (I'm attemping sarcasm here of course)

    Since your name is Chernobyl you should've created a

    - S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl - Texture pack. It was the game Fallout 3's gameplay was based off of.

    It has mob spawner schematics on hand. Even has Ghast Spawner (Don't use them. You world will be teeming with hordes of Ghasts)

    Any chance you could release the map itself without any of the modded blocks?
    You know, so I could add it to my other worlds and sandbox it. I want to build some things there.

    Well I can take a snapshot of all 4 sides if you like? Or you can do like I did and search google for pics of the actual castle. I also got simple architectual drawings from the web somewhere as well. The large backend of the real castle actually is at an angle to the courtyard area, but in MC angles outside of 45deg are hard to reproduce, so I dumped that and just went straight front to back.

    If you would like to walk around the castle, I can add you to my server's whitelist and you can visit it yourself?

    As for the inside, well, I just did what felt right for me. Though I've been there as a young boy and there are pics of the inside online...the detail is too intricate to reproduce in MC.

    I've actually exported the entire castle into a schematic...so I don't have to spend the weeks building it again! In fact, I export all my builds into schematic files for safe keeping...<evil laugh>



    Mind if I have some of those schrmatics, cheif?

But I stress that if you have no interest in doing the sheet then no problem. It's just a side request.

    "Thank you ma'am"
    I said to the rather perky airline stewerdess. My flight, Oceanic 493, was a one way flight from Puerto Rico to Tampa Bay international Airport. I looked down at my drink, it was a Sprite. The Sprite was clear, held in a cup so small I wasn't even sure to call it a cup.

    "This is your captain speaking. We are about to experiance slight turbulance so we'd recommand fastening your seatbelt"

    Short, sweet and to the point. Airlines don't say much to you at all these days. With a quiet sigh I fastned the seatbelt around my waste, though it there logically wouldn't be very much of turbulance, at least comapred to my previous experiances. The flight, as predicted, came under some minor turbulance. I closed my eyes, hard. My thoughts turned to my memories of the war, dammit this is not what I to think about, I just came home from 4 years in hell. I was determined not to go back, memory or otherwise.

    The vibrations in the plane didn't quite seem so peaceful anymore. They had gone being indistinguishable from backround engine vibrations to a more pronounced shake. I desperetly searched my mind for anything that didn't have me back in the Ice. God, we went from deserts to the arctic - Focus! Let's see uh. Turbulance, vibrations in air casued by differences in heat, pitch, yaw, Rolling Thunder - No, not the damn war!

    I began to lose interest in the flashbacks as the people around me began increasingly to shift to panic mode. There were gasps, one womans purse was violently removed from her side and flew halfway across the aircraft before hitting some elderly Puerto Rican man. My fingers began to claw into the sidearms of the chair. The shaking, why did I have to go to Puerto Rico? I could have stayed home but no. Then something unexpected happend, and it terrified me.

    The Aircraft began shaking in multiple directions, it was as thoguh some giant toddler had grabbed the plane and was violently shaking it every which way with curious fury. Aircraft don't shake this way during turbulance, at least not so noticably it left or right orientations. The force of inertia caused me to propel forwards and bash by eyes on the chair infront of me. At this point I noted two things. One, My eyes were bleeding, and 2; I hate sprite in my eyes. The carbonated blood burned, it burned as though I had a mixture of Pop Rocks and Salt in my shuttered eyes, and I could muster the strenth to open them. People were screaming, the kind of scream you only hear when a group of people realized they were likely to die, horribly. I Couldn't see, but upon reflection I think I'm better of for being blinded.

    A terrible Screech of metal filled everything! The strident noise was so loud, I was sure I felt a trickle of blood run from my ears as what felt like my ear drums burst with incredible violence. And then, silence, for a moment everything was silent, was I dead? If this is death why do I still feel blood in my eyes? What was that steady but distant rumble? Without warning a great Explosion overtook everything. It was the kind of explosion that one could tell could easily rupture organs even before you felt it, and when I did feel it, it was as though and Elephant was dropped onto my chest from orbit. I couldn't breath now either, I couldn't see, I wasn't sure if I could rightly hear and now I can't breath.

    I was suddenly overwhelmed with a feeling of falling, slowly. This was immeadetialy follow up by coldness, The frigid clasp I death I hoped. My feeling of falling was replaced with feeling of sinking. I was suddenly gifted with the ability to open my eyes again and when I did, I realized that I was indeed sinking. Pure instinct kicked in and slowly made my way to the surface. It was short, but felt long and arduous. I gasped for breath, and exhaled, I felt as though my lungs were suddenly unable to hold enough air as I continued to gasp. As more and more oxygen returned to my body I felt bits and peices of me coming back to online, cheifly among them why my ability to, once again, reason.

    I finally pulled enough of myself together to take in my surroundings. The water was cold, the night air was frigid. More importantly the wreckage of the plane was all around me, I heard no screams or anything even remotly human, just the burning sound of jet fuel on water as the plane burned. The vicious crackling. I was finally able to realize that my muscle were burning with Lactic acid. I began to swim towards something in the distance, it was the one thing I saw the wasn't water or on fire, at least not at first. The looked rather... Cubed. As though someone had chisled a prefect set of 90 degree angles into the object. Come to think of, everything began to look that way. Dammit, hitting my eyes msut have caused potentially permenant vision damage, but my eyes felt fine.

    As I finally reached the object I realised it was a sliver of dry land. I dragged myself onto the beach wih evermore useless legs. The island was perhaps 4 meters from a rock slab jutting out of the landscape. I realized that there was a small bit of shelther created by some aircraft debris, I dragged myself towards it. I made a hacking caugh, followed by a violent upheavel of vomited blood. I... Must be... Bleeding internally... As the reached the little pice of junk I rolled over onto my back further gasping for air. It was then that I noticed a figure emerge from the shadows. I was about a meter tall and had eight black legs.

    The eight legged abomination walked towards me, making this weird sound that I can only be described as their odd low pitched deep kind-of hiss. It slowly, almost tauntingly made it's way to the top of my chosen debris shelter. As it reached the top I could clearly see it was some kind of freakingly huge spider, larger then anyspider should rationly be!
    I could only stare at it in amazed horror at the thing, it was covered in thick black hairs, it's 8 abhorent eyes twitched as it surveyed me. The spiders two mandibles, similar to a parying mantid's arms, writhed in anticipation for a meal, the end of it's two front legs both ened it this sort of conical blade, likely used for climbing steep inclines and savaging prey. My heart beat so fast I was sure I would go into cardiac arrest.

    But then the creature jerked to it's rights, seeingly loosing all interest in me, and focusing on self preservation. The animal, with a more insect sounding pre-cat-hiss noise sped of the opposite direction of where it had been looking, it was so fast, I wasn't even sure if I had actually see the spider at all. I turned in the direction the spider had faced and was dumbfounded by what I saw. It was like a standing mirror image of me, except there was something wrong about it's face, I couldn't quite place it. It didn't quite show any hint of emotion and the eys just seemed somehow dead. I blinked and again it was gone.

    I passed out a moment later.
