In a box? You are lucky! We lived for three months in a brown paper bag in a septic tank. We used to have to get up at six o'clock in the morning, clean the bag, eat a crust of stale bread, go to work down mill for fourteen hours a day week in-week out. When we got home, out Dad would thrash us to sleep with his belt!

You're lucky that you got to live in a paper bag! I had to live in a memory that didn't remember the skit that you are mentioning.

My two brothers and I are making a Minecraft server/world together, we have made some buildings already, but we wanted to have other people's work as well. If you have any cool works please use MCedit to make a schematic of it and post a download of it here. I would also accept the world folder as well.

ItsEvan, I understand your anguish, I would hate to be cheated out of any amount of money, but screaming about it on a forum is not the way to get help. Possibly ask nicely, and then once someone helps you scream at them, or possibly a pillow.

And as pretty much everyone else has said, you should wait and possibly email both Notch's end, and Paypal's end.

posted a message on Texture packs for mac
HI I have a mac and I have looked up many times on here and other sites how to install worlds/texturepacks. Everyone has said stuff about the appdata folders or the minecraft saves folder. I don't have any of those folders and I can't find them... :SSSS:
So anyway, please help if you can find any information on this.

posted a message on Basic Redstone Ciruit
Alright, I don't really know what the policy on double post is, but here it goes...

This really helps, but now I'm wondering if there was a way that the lever opened the door, but when it was off it kept the door from being opened.

Well I'm just learning how to make redstone machines, and I was wondering if I could make a machine in which when someone (or something) stepped on a plate it opened the door, but I could have a lever the was the override switch to make it so that plate didn't work anymore. So the final question is, if you can make it, how do I?

There are a few reasons that one would use it,

There are no morals in a single player game.

Thus, terms like "legitimate" and "cheating" do not make any sense, and are irrelevant.

This. Just think of InvEdit as Minecraft single player with all the boring parts taken out in advance. I use it all the time in my blueprinting world. Why should I waste time collecting materials (Which are infinite.) for stuff that might not even work / look cool.

Just don't cheat in SMP. That's basically it.

    one being this.

Another is that I am working on learning redstone, and collecting thousands of redstone dust doesn't seem very fun to me.

I have an idea of what it could be, so it isn't too hard to get, but it's still not something you get in the beginning in the game.

The question's actually posed by a friend who hasn't bought the game yet -- she wants to roleplay an outdoorsman who hunts livestock w/bow & arrow, but doesn't want to encounter any hostile mobs.

Sometimes I hate when people go on about how stupid this thread is, but don't read the post. Just read this ^ it will all make sense.

zyzzy, there's a part of your logic that is flawed, if one is trying to get silk, to lets say, make a bow, how would said person use a bow to get their silk to make their bow? It seems to me like a catch-22.

posted a message on How can I make new items?
Well, I've seen a few client mods in my days, and I was wondering if there was a way for me to make my own, I'm doing sculpting work, and I was wondering if I could make super tools, that 1: Never wore out, and 2: Would break something almost instantly (Long enough that a person would still have time to react after breaking one block). Just a preemptive thank you to whoever helps.
