So I tried it without the mods, using vanilla 1.11.1 and the game crashed again. Here's the new error message:

Never mind I figured it out and now it stopped crashing.

    original post:

Hi, I downloaded the 1.11 Forge version and the journeymap mod, but whenever I start playing it works for ~30sec and then crashes. I don't know at all what does mean the error message, so I hope someone with more computer technical knowledge could explain me what's wrong. Here's the error message:

posted a message on Auto jump??? WHY??

I don't particularly like it, I turned it off right after a 10min trial. I can't understand why, but I simply don't like it; it doesn't feel natural to jump when doing nothing but running. On the other hand, I think the spacebar of my keyboard would love me to turn it on. It's getting looser and looser the more I'm playing.

posted a message on Polar Bear Taming (+ more polar bear stuff)

I just agree with you that they should be tamable, but not the same way as you suggest.

Once tamed, you could set their territory and they would stay there and protect your land from hostile mobs. They would have the same use as iron golems but wouldn't require villagers.

This idea of territory would be something new in minecraft but could be interesting. Polar bears would simply chill around your house and make sure nothing hostile comes in. You could even have to feed them regularly to keep them as a "friend". It could be a kind of mutual agreement between you and the bear; you feed it and it stays where you want it to stay. If you don't feed them, they would simply go away and would no longer attack hostile mobs, so even if you block the exits they would still be useless when not fed. I know it is a little blurry but I'm not here to do Mojang's job, just to give a global suggestion for people who are actually paid to do that to think about.

However I strongly disagree on the idea of riding them and giving them armor, there is no need for that.

I know its a stupid question, but was there actual TNT in that Dispenser?

posted a message on Dispenser doesn't drop items

I've just built a tnt canon with a couple dispensers but one of them doesn't want to cooperate at all. I've taken a screenshot of the moment where the dispenser is supposed to drop the tnt and we can clearly see that every dispenser works perfectly except the 2nd one (when counting from the bottom).

I first thought the problem was due to my redstone circuit, but it is obviously not the issue, because we can clearly see on the screenshot that power is given to the dispenser.

An even more strange thing is that what you see on the screenshot is reproduced the exact same way on the left side of the canon to double the power. However, the dispenser situated at the exact same place than the defective one (but on the left side) works perfectly.

I've tried to destroy the dispenser and then to place a new one, but the same problem is still occurring. I also tried to replace the dispenser by a redstone lamp, and the lamp turned on, like if everything was fine (screenshot 2). So I don't understand why this is not able to drop items if the redstone circuit can turn on a lamp without any problem.

posted a message on amazing seed (tip: you can't see it!!!)

I found a pretty nice seed that makes you spawn directly beside a village (you can see it clearly from your spawning point). Other interesting things about it are the donkeys in the village, the acadia trees all around and the desert just beside the village. I only explored a 500m radius though, so I don't know what does it look like further.

The greatest thing about this seed is that its name is....

    .

    Yep.. that's its name :D

you just have to capitalize the first letter of every word.

    btw I'm running 1.8.8

posted a message on Paranormal activity (strange bugs)

That's pretty bad, because I need a villager with empty inventory, which means that I need to breed villagers, hope a baby farmer will pop out, lead him quickly out of the house before he gets fed by other villagers, give him 8 full stacks of seeds and put him inside the farm. If they all despawn after a certain time it would be really annoying to do all this over and over. It seems pretty simple to do, but trust me, villagers are evil and things go bad 75% of the time. I sometimes just want to throw them in the nether.... Ok... I admit it... I have a nether portal especially done to throw villagers in the lava :D :D :D

posted a message on Paranormal activity (strange bugs)

I'm running 1.8.8. I think the most possible thing would be, as you mentioned it, a location error when the chunk was reloaded. My farm is simply a 27x18 rectangle of harvested dirt surrounded by walls ans a 3 blocks high glass roof. I have 6 water spots, but they are only one block deep and covered by a fence to make sure the villager doesn't go for a swim instead of harvesting. I first thought about a zombie siege spawning in the farm, but I saw on the forum that we have to be close to the village to make it happen. Thus I was more than 400 meters away (in Euclidian distance) so it couldn't have happened.

I haven't looked if the cloned hopper minecarts have the same inventory as the original one, but it would be really possible because when I looked in the chest, even before noticing the villager was gone, it seemed to me that it was filling a lot more quickly; I wasn't expecting it to be that full after 2-3 hours of mining underground.

posted a message on Paranormal activity (strange bugs)

I built a fully automatic farm that was working #1 for a couple days. However, today, I mined deep underground for a couple hours, and when I went back I saw some unexplainable things.

First, the villager that was usually harvesting the farm totally disappeared. It is absolutely impossible that a zombie came in an killed him because all the entrances are locked either by iron doors or solid blocks. It is also impossible that a zombie spawned inside because the light level is around 9 24h/24. The only mob that could enter the farm is an Enderman, but usually Endermen and villagers are good buddies, so I doubt an Enderman would kill a poor little villager. Is it possible that villagers can only live a certain amount of time and after that time they simply die of old age?

The other one, for which I really have no clue about, is a duplication of minecarts. At the beginning, I only had one minecart running under my farm to collect the harvested wheat. When I came back for my explorations, there were 3 minecarts on the circuit...... The original minecart was not a simple minecart either, it was a minecart with hopper, and both the new ones spawned with a hopper inside like their mother minecart.

I attached a screenshot showing the 3 minecarts and, at the same time, a part of the underground rail network. I would've liked to take a screenshot of the villager too, but it's kind of hard to screenshot something that is no more there...

If anyone has an idea about what's going on I would be interested to know it, it is getting pretty scary.

posted a message on USE YOUR USERNAME AS A SEED!

I spawned just beside a lake with a very suggestive shape...

I also found this seashore village with a wonderful bay view at 1km from the spawning point.

Ocean and extreme hills are the most commun biomes 4km around the spawning point.

    What's a T flip-flop? i luv using redstone but never heard of a T flip-flop.

    P.S. cool avatar JM207:)

Basically, it's simply a way to use a button the same way as a lever. Not really useful, except for really complex redstone circuits, but that's not my cup of tea so I couldn't tell you why would it be better than a lever in those special cases.

posted a message on Villager thinks he's out of a house when he's in

Yeah, my bad, I meant a moat, sorry for that, English isn't my first language, so I've just taken the first translation that I've found... without looking if it was the good one -_-

And I kind of understood the iron farm thing when I started to see some iron golems spawning inside the building.... but the thing is every floor is only 2 blocks high (to avoid Endermen) so they spawn halfway through 2 different floors and get stuck there until I kill them. That wasn't intended at first, but now I can easily farm some iron B) , even if the spawning rate isn't really good.
