posted a message on What to add to my (default) secret blocks texture-pack
Hello, ive made a texture pack and anyways i would like to know what i should add to it, ive tryed to use

the curse "texture gadget" to make this a download but it says error occured any help with that?, anyways

this is pretty simple to make if you have the "Paint"download then you can crop an area and copy/paste it

so all i have to do is copy a lets say Tnt texture and paste

it on the dirt texture to make a texture-copy of another block, anyways here is what ive made so far

Anyways there is a list below telling what these do,

    Glowstone: Looks like lava

Pumpkin: Looks like tnt, when activated it turns into a diamond block!, glowing!

Jack-o-lantern: looks like diamond block,A glowing diamond block

Wooden door: Looks like iron ore

    Iron door:Just a design i made

Trap-door:Looks like snow, the layer of snow so its hidden

All-Wool: Looks like, Bedrock, Bookcase, Bricks, Netherack, Melon, Emerald block, Gold ore, Gold block,

Lapiz lupis ore, Diamond Block, Obsidian, Random Block that isnt in game but is in edit, Diamond ore, Tnt,

    Block of iron,

Lapiz lupis block: looks like water

Glass: Just a better design Edit: Changed back to default glass

    Ladder: Looks like stone

    Mycelium: Purple/Pink/Light-Purple/Light-pink

Redstone lamp: It is green when active and red when it isnt active, usefull for many things

If there is anything else i should add please say below, hope you use these in a texture pack of your own,

here is how to make a texture pack, hope you find it usefull, i didnt write this echonite did so if you find this

    helpfull you should say thanks!,

    1. From the game's main menu, go to the texture pack selection screen, then click on "open texture pack folder".

    2. In the window that opens, navigate back one level. By default it will be "C:\Users\YourNameHere\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft".

    3. From there, go to the "bin" folder, and you should see your minecraft.jar file (You may just see a file called "minecraft".

    4. Use a program called 7Zip or WinRAR to open your minecraft.jar file. You will see several folders and a TON of *.class files.

    5. Make a new folder on your desktop, or somewhere you will remember, and open that along side your minecraft.jar.

    6. Highlight and drag the following folders and files to your pre-made folder I mentioned.

    - achievement (folder)
    - armor (folder)
    - art (folder)
    - environment (folder)
    - gui (folder)
    - item (folder)
    - misc (folder)
    - mob (folder)
    - terrain (folder)
    - title (folder)
    - pack.png
    - pack.txt
    - particles.png
    - terrain.png

    7. Once you have done that, you can close your minecraft.jar and begin editing the files you just extracted.

7a. The easiest way to set up your texturepack for easy editing and testing is to make a folder in your "texturepack" folder you go to in step #1 and edit all your textures there. Then, while in game, you can press F3 + T to reload the textures mid game to see your changes without having to quit the game, swap texturepacks, and reload your world.

Doors can be used with water, boats and plates to make distributors and complicated locks. It also help some 7 segments display contraptions or redstone counters.
Well if these "Locks" are anything like ive seen on youtube then if i built one i probally wouldent support this idea either, i no longer support this idea..

really? not even an iron one?
i guess it might help the logic of minecraft a little bit but my new question is can a door be hinged on a door?
that could sway my opinion(hinge joke: not intended but present)
no you shouldent be able to hang a door on a door but you can still make a double door as long as theres a block beside both doors.

    Is this good enough?

Doors are good for sound spam :3
 your saying you dont support this idea because of a 5x5 door sound spam contraption

If the doors would be connected to a side block, this will ruin a LOT of redstone contraptions.

    No support
ive never seen a redstone contraption with a door.
