    Dear ONA,

    Due to a certain person who shall remain named(UberaDpmn) and this clan's blatant contradiction of its own rules(unless by mature, they meant M-rated), I have decided that this clan is going nowhere fast and is an unnecessary time-waster and also a discomfort source. When this clan was fresh, things were great. We had our own server, dominated PAoW, and generally prospered. However, as the demographic of this clan steadily grew more lewd and perverted, things steadily started to turn for the worse until people were regularly breaking clan rules. Ubera, in particular, has gotten away with murder by saying "If we don't troll, this clan is boring". He constantly breaks the clan rule of respect, and doesn't really pay any regards to the rules, going as far as saying "blah blah rules hurr durr". Also, after giving this clan a 1-week grace period, it only got worse, as I logged onto the mumble, and one of the channels was named something that wouldn't be OK to post on these forums. The pillars of maturity and respect have crumbled. I hope you understand my reasons for leaving.

    Kasnov: It seems that you have a problem with your j.class. Check if any other of your downloaded mods overwrite it, and if they are out of date or not (I had a problem with an out-of-date TMI mod)

    Ya, that would use a lot of sprites (if they were actually different colors anyway --- and it'd be hard to tell them apart if they weren't). Oh, maybe you could select the channel by right-clicking while holding a quantum disk (and it'd flip through the channel names), when you get to the one you want, stuff it into the chest. [That way it'd just be a damage value on the item for which channel it is]

    Question, exactly how explosive-resistant is the immunity software? Is it ... as hard as Obsidian?

    Ed: Ooh, idea for quantum channels, Arrows! :tongue.gif: < (channel name) > [sorry for bad art, I probably could have found a > arrow icon around here somewhere] that way you could flip through either direction.
    (Cos I was thinking it should be easy to change channels)


    Maybe signs near the chest could be used to determine the channel? I think that would be relatively item-light to do, but I can't communicate with the other two programmers all that well, given that their time zone is across the world from mine :Skeleton:

    No, I don't think you get it. If you place the fuel and stuff you want to cook starting in the far right slot of their corresponding row, then items you throw in the chest will only go in the last row, and ignore the first two, leaving them clean. That's how filtering works.

    You want help? Here's help!

    First, get a program that can open jar files, such as 7-zip.

    Then, use said program to open the minecraft.jar (Using the search command of your computer can ease the search)

    Next, take the files that you extracted from modloader.zip and place them in the jar folder.

    And finally, of course, delete the meta-inf from the jar.

    This process will work for any mod, actually! Happy modding, and look out for conflicting ID's!

    Simply set the program to open the config files to be a text editor, like notepad. Or if that's too much work for you, try installing a fresh jar.

    Try deleting the meta-inf of the jar. That usually is the problem. If not, show us the modloader log.

    No, this is not a SMP mod. I don't think it will affect SMP at all, so if you never use single player, don't look for mods that add new blocks/items, as those will not do anything. Unless you run a SMP server, in which case you could look up mods on the bukkit site. This particular mod, however, will not affect SMP.

    Hmm, it would make more sense if it sent items to the chest, instead of the player. And it would be a tad difficult coding-wise to get the two discs linked to each other. It would be possible, but I think the coding solution would be a tad ugly.

    The immunity software has been deemed incomplete for this current version due to bugs, and so for now it remains a debug item. Avoid toying with it, it could cause a crash.

    1. 3, the chest front for normal and left/right.
    4. You can link any number of chests in the quantum network, and they share 1 inventory at the moment.

    Moomoo, try updating your TMI files. Chances are, you forgot to update and therefore are using old class files that need to be changed. That's what solved my problem, at least.

    Huh. Those sound like pretty severe bugs to me. I'll try to peruse the source to see if I can fix anything, or find anything wrong.

    EDIT: Wait, how did you get your hands on an immunity disc? I suppose you got it through TMI? I'm not sure if you're supposed to be using those right now, since they aren't craftable at the moment.

    Plus you can only use a maximum of 2 software on any one chest at a time. Given that one is major and the other minor.


    Actually, now, with Aero being awesome and all that, he managed to get double magic chests to work. This allows you to use two discs of each type.

    Actually, no, it can't. The vortex program only searches within a 3 block radius. The network software only connects to 1 chest's worth of items at the moment. And this mod is not SMP yet.     As an idea-producer for this mod, I will be answering any questions and accepting inspiration. And maybe coding a few things. Once homework is out of the way, expect the healer software to be done soon.
