    I was using lite loader for a different mod on a diff. version (trying to use mo creatures on 1.7.10) I will try downgrading forge, thanks for all your help!

    could it be lite loader? I took every mod off and it still crashed. Let me go ahead and re-crash it

    Flower Forest is in the biomes list (just click the Biomes button, click on the Forest biome and then on the "variant" checkbox), but I suspect that you do not actually mean the biome list, I think you mean the layers panel, right? I will probably add some way to natively add Minecraft 1.7 flowers in the future, but right now the easiest way (especially for two-high flowers) is to use a Custom Objects Layer in combination with Lentebriesje's default trees pack (which contains all the new vegetation from Minecraft 1.7, including all the flowers), which you can download here.


    I figured it out from your help. Thank you very much, I know you are busy and my dumb questions aren't helpful. Can't wait for future updates, I love this program.

    If you're refering to the underground pockets layer, yes it is still an option, and it still works. Put everything full intensity related to spawnrate. It's just, you'll probably run out of custom layer space rather quickly, and it's a lot of work for a pretty minor pay off, unless you do it for a really large area. It's definatelly possible, not very fiable though. That is if you want to do more then 5 soil layers, hardly worth the time. Ow yeah, you can't make them overlap.


    Hmm it doesn't seem like it can do what I need it to in that case. Thanks for taking the time to try and help me out, much appreciated.

    Use the custom underground layers. Before 1.7 that is what I did. Each layer needed it's own underground layer. As for the flower forest it is a variant of the forest biome, so click that check box under the biomes.

    I'm sure I'm just looking in the wrong place but is there a way to make a custom layer like the mesa where stained clay is layers/placed at certain depths. I would like to make my own layers like this but cannot figure out how. The closest I've figured out is by combining blocks in the custom terrain field but it just creates a scattered effect.

    I would also to be able to add flower forests and they are not currently in the biome list. I don't mind making it myself but how would I go about this.

    This server is a relaxed 24/7 lag free semi vanilla server.

    The current player plugins are grief prevention for build protection and shopkeepers for the item based economy. Not going to get much more vanilla than that.

    I'm in the final leg of getting all the permissions and plug ins ready for a new server I am in the process of making and am wondering if others can help by jumping on and trying to 'stress' the server in any way. This will help me figure out what I need to change. If you can help please pm me for the IP as I don't think I am allowed to post it here. I will keep it up for a few days to hopefully get at least 5 people to try and grief/hack/stop the server wtv they can do.


    Server will be as vanilla as possible with build protection and a 'shop' plug in to help create an economy (item based). There will also be a creative world for larger projects & dedicated players. This will be 24/7 for the next 3 days.
