Taming the Big Cats doesn't seem to be working. I throw piles of raw fish and raw pork at the cubs (the super tiny ones) and they never eat anything. They grow to adults and never eat a thing.
Ok, really not liking your attitude. Assuming I'm not inclined to do any research on my own? I asked what the next step should be so I would have an answer just in case of the event that I don't find the answer myself. Not that it mattered seeing as your solution didn't work. I'd expect a better from a support forum.
Meh, guess I'll just stick to my other games then. Not much reason to worry about it, I barely play anymore. Just wanted to see if I could make it a smooth experience when the urge strikes.
So long story short, I need help with issues I'm having running Minecraft. New laptop, MSI Apache Pro GE72 2QF- Specs in the link(https://www.msi.com/Notebook/ge72-2qf-apache-pro.html#hero-specification) is having an absolute garbage time running Minecraft. Constantly dropping to 0 fps and stutters like crazy even when running settings on low and with optifine. This laptop runs Skyrim (fairly heavily modded) and Witcher 3 with no issues. My desktop runs Minecraft beautifully and is a build from almost 7 years ago, AMD Phenom II X6 1100T, AMD Radeon HD 6700, 16GB DDR3.
I can't think of any reason as to why this new laptop is having such major performance issues. Does anyone have any idea as to what may be happening? I'd really appreciate the help.
I'll try to get some of those soon. It can't be any conflicting mods, unfortunately. I've only used single mods at a time, Mo Creatures and Mr. Crayfish's Furniture if that provides any info for right now.
I've been trying to play Minecraft with my wife over LAN. Initially, the mods work fine and run stable, but without fail, we eventually get disconnected with a "fatal error." Do mods just not work over LAN? Does anyone know why? Am I missing something? I would imagine that Two Minecrafts running that same Forge and mods that connect to each other would be just fine, but apparently not.
On my to do list. To a certain extent, I'm relying on others to help me even get started. Most of the mods I've been seeing are all one in the same. Tech here, magic there, 1000 new ores here, sprinkle in some Five Nights at Freddy's and bam, majority of what I see. But yes, learning for myself is on my list.
Thanks for the suggestions! I was really having a hard time finding mods that weren't all tech and magic based. I remembered the Yogbox being the most fun I've had. I'm glad that some of the mods are still around.
That'd be awesome if you could! As I mentioned, Millenaire, Mo Creatures, Treecapitator, Twilight Forest, and Seasons. Another mod that I remembered were the Zelda Hearts mod. More or less, most mods that supplement the survival and adventure experience are welcome. I'm not really interested in the tech and magic mods at all. Feel free to message me if you put anything together.
It still adds no real functionality to the game. If you want to build stuff that has no effect on your current survival world, make another creative world.

Next step, how do I fix it?

Try organizing your thoughts into something other than a run on sentence that makes no sense and try again.

For awhile? I can only imagine what that means.

Thanks for the reply, but that is not at all what I am looking for.

The black screen lasts a whole 5 second. Sorry, but I simply can't agree with your... idea.
