If you're having this issue make sure your islands are spawning below 110 as the skyblock nether is 127 blocks high. If your islands spawn above 127 they're above the top of the nether's bedrock layer, therefore the roof.
Any islands that are above 127 in the overworld will spawn above 127 in the nether.
You can copy a players island with worldedit, have them reset their island and paste it back.
[After you change config so they spawn lower, ofc]

The command to REMOVE a prefix is the following...
/manudelv <User> [type] --- USE THIS TO REMOVE YOUR USER PREFIX ---
/mangdelv <Group> [type]
If you're positive you DO NOT have a person prefix I recommend making sure you're in the correct group.
/manuadd <player> <group>

I just want to say as a note...
GroupManager is a good place to start on your first server but if you really want the most for a permission management plugin use PermissionsEx 'AKA' "Pex"
You have to login to minecraft.net using your Minecraft information.
After you login to go the top-left and press the "download" button, install the new installer and proceed with the process by opening and running the installer, follow the installer and then launch MC with the new shortcut provided on the desktop of your computer.
Was brought to my attention that didn't work for someone else, so I'm offering another solution just incase.
If your username / Launch profile / version / anything you made with-in minecraft have a ! or other special charrecter.. & / * / ^ / $ / @, etc you'll have to change it or delete it and create a new one without it.

Hello iiOmega_,
With-in GroupManager, user prefixes over-ride group-prefixes.
Make-sure that you don't have a personal prefix.
The command to set a prefix is the following...
'/mangaddv [Group] [Type] [Value of Type]'
Example:
/mangaddv Owner prefix &0[&4Owner&0]&f
Assuming you're using EssentialsChat that would make Bright Red 'Owner' inside black brackets Infront of the user's name.
/mangaddv Admin suffix &0[&4Admin&0]&f
The above would have the same colors but 'Admin' would the the words inside the brackets, and it would appear at the END of the name.

Hello Slayeruen.
I'm not on your server so I can't be positive but there are multiple things that could be effecting this.
Your plugin could be outdated and not compatible.
Type "/pl" and find 'Towny' if it's in RED text that means it's not working correctly.
I suggest getting the most recent Towny and reinstalling it.
Secondly, you could have another plugin using the '/t' as a command.
If it's NOT in red when you type /pl. try to use "/town" instead.

On my skyblock world whenever anyone tries to enter a Nether Portal they get the following message in chat...
"No Access! You are trying to teleport to the roof of the NETHER, that is not allowed."
Any ideas on how to fix?

Then Play.

Using the new launcher go to "Launch Settings" and in the top right click the box and make sure "Advanced Settings" are enabled.
Click "Add New"
Selected Version
Enabled JVM Arguments
Paste the following... -Xmx1G -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:G1NewSizePercent=20 -XX:G1ReservePercent=20 -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=16M
Name it "No CMS"
Create it and try it play.

Try running the game from the .exe rather than the shortcut.
Alternatively....
Right click your shortcut.
Click "Properties"
Navigate to the "Shortcut" tab. (By default it should launch on this tab)
Look for the "Target" Box
Edit it and add the following to the end... <Keep what's already there though>
"--workDir %ProgramData%\.minecraft"
Make-sure you remove the quotes!
If the following doesn't work, make-sure your mine-craft name doesn't have an "!" or any other special character, as these break java.

I can suggest 3 things.
Don't launch directly into full-screen.
- Windows + R
- Type %appdata%
- Press 'Enter' or 'OK'
- Open .minecraft
- Right click "options"
- Find 'Fullscreen: ----'
- Make-sure it says 'fullscreen:false'
Change your Vsync option.
Same as above but instead find "enableVsync:----"
If it says "true" make it "false", if it says "false" make it "true"
If neither of those work, I suggest trying the old launcher of minecraft,
I've lost the link for old launcher-- you might have to do a bit of digging around for it. :/
