    Well you can just download a higher forge version and then go to edit profile on your launcher, scroll down until you see the right forge after it's installed. (It's usually at the bottom)

    actually part of that is implented, there are angry mobs of villagers and bats you can summon but only blind your opponents for 2 seconds if they are human. But otherwise i agree with the idea of classes. There may be a skilltree already but mabye somewhere in the future there could be multiple and you get the choice of three.

    Vampires would be able to be killed normally if under the influence of garlic, or if they are in the sun at all.


    Being a newborn vampire with immortality would be a bit over the top, so vampires should only attain this immunity to basic death when they reach level 5. this way you would have needed to have a functioning altar of inspiration first.


    A vampire that is immune to fire would be rather strange, but I do think it's important that there are more styles of play implemented.


    When a vampire is taken down by regular means, they should be "dead" for maybe 20 seconds, then for 10 seconds after that they have nausea and slowness. This way a player that doesn't have the means to kill a vampire could still have plenty of time to run and hide (and prey that the vampire doesn't have blood vision)


    Side note: I really like the new blood vision effect, props for that.


    well 20 or 10 seconds is kind of overpowered, i see why you don't think they should die, and alot of people would ant to be a vampire to not ever die but there needs to be death. I know they are already dead,and become basiclly an "immortal" being but think of it as they are still in "mortal" flesh.

    it takes 9-20 minutes to run out and transform you into a vampire, it is there on purpose

    ok wow, you guys posted long things this time. I do agree that there should be some more advanced things for vampires but ranged attacks seem too overpowered for me. But i also came here to add a suggestion for a system for holy water. It should be made by combinding lapis with a water bottle unless it should go with something about blood potions but mabye instead of lapis garlic. Which makes much more sense than lapis but on the server i've been playing on recently lapis smothers magical abilities.


    1 splash to vampires = burned but not weakened 2 splashes = weakened and mabye slowed temporarily 3 = really hurt and can't move for mabye 2 minutes? 4 = just enough to kill them.


    But sense this is so op it should only be added if those ranged attacks are added too. Mabye holy water could just disable it temporarily. But there is one thing we are forgetting right now.. we need to focus on garlic.

    Yeah kind of late... but we had a discussion on werewolves and he said IF he makes them it will be after the hunters and vampires are mostly done. Or something. But max i think we need exitement, we need, more challenge, we need. Factions. But i guess this should mostly be on the server because there tecnecly are already. But no pvp. So mabye we need to get some rules about that then start it. Because there havn't been much people on lately.

    That's probobly in the guide book if you need one do book + garlic/fang = guide. But also after you craft it right click an injection chair with it which is found in villages inside of a vampire hunter trainer's house.

    I actually came here to comment because I have a few ideas for the hunter. I have heard people talking about giving them an alchemy skill tree. The funny thing is I was actually interested in alchemy when I was a little younger. Seems strange now though. But I actually know quite a bit about it.


    For starters when most people hear alchemy. Most people think it means a now discredited means of turning lead into gold. But this is a very limited view of something which is more complicated than that. I will talk more about this in future because it really needs a separate post dedicated to it.


    Another thing I would like to add is a fairy circle. It's is actually a real thing which occurs in nature (it's like a circle of mushrooms) , but there is a lot of mythology behind it too. Perhaps maybe the hunter could created one and it would stop vamps from going in to a certain place.


    That is one of the posts i like so much i push the like buutton.

    This is only a mod and i know why you say harming should heal but i don't think so because you are player and it only works on some undead mobs.

    Mabye you guys want combat.but yet what you're saying dosn't make sense too much because almost everyone on the server is one. (unfortunately)

    Umm I am just going to be 100% honest with you right now.

    No, I just realllly don't like that idea and both sides should be balanced you are completely wrong I even help you vampires on the server and yet you want to be the supreme we should be able to kill you also I quote this from another server's wiki and this is 100% not mine all credit goes to massivecraft so this is not a crime. So remember this is not mine.

    • Sensitivity to Sunlight: Every vampire is sensitive to sunlight in some way. In some bloodlines, it will only cause their skin to redden and burn, similar to albinism. In other bloodlines, it will cause them to burst into flames. This is caused by the body temperature increasing more rapidly in vampires, along with increased keratin in the skin. Dead vampires will be affected by sunlight just like living ones.
    • Weakness to Holy Water: Holy water is water blessed at an altar of light and typically bottled in fragile vials in case they need to be quickly shattered. Holy water raises the body heat of a vampire, similar to sun on a Qul'Ess. Small amounts will cause discomfort and reddening, while larger amounts and prolonged exposure will begin to catch fire when in contact with the infected (similar to acid). Ingesting holy water will instantaneously burn the vampire from the inside out, and it does not lose its effect over time. When mixed with other liquids, it does become diluted. A vampire's body can reject the diluted holy water by sweating it out, but this is a painful, long lasting and exhausting experience that can take weeks to complete. Otherwise, a vampire might expel the diluted holy water in the same way they’d expel food.
    • Weakness to Wood: Even the strongest and most unholy of these beasts will fall to something as common and harmless as a sturdy stick, or a sharpened piece of wood. While it doesn’t make much sense, vampires have a weakness to wooden objects that will instantly cause them to burst into flames and die, but only if it pierces their heart. Wooden stakes are a common weapon used against those infected. That said, vampires can also die in almost every way a normal human can. The distinction between wooden objects and others is spontaneous combustion.

    Also some of this does not apply to you because this thing has it's own functions.

    Meh, why claws? I think that was a different bloodline if it did. But even then it doesn't sound like it should go into the mod. Mabye it would if everyone was a cat. We are not and that's for more of wolverine. Also i see why you want more abilities to balance things out but max just did that with the books vampires are op enough we need a break on the abilities section ok?

    I'm still right :P we use immortal in a different way for this and you know it.
