It has been a long time, sorry about that. This update adds a few new textures as well as 1.4 support. I'm calling this a beta update because there's a lot of new stuff to test, so if anything looks weird please tell me, I also plan on changing a few of the new textures a bit(such as the anvil).
• New biome coloring and sky coloring, it's not a huge difference, but it will make it easier for me to change biome colors and add new ones if there are any in the future.
• Added a few more mob skins.
• Changed a few terrain textures.
• Added 1.4 support.
• I've probably forgotten a lot of stuff
No. Tumblr is for teenage girls and people who find stupid stuff funny.
I'd have to disagree with that. Although a majority of the tumblr community is awful the actual blogging itself is nice and simple. Plus it doesn't hurt to have your blog posts automatically be searchable on tumblr, so its free exposure.
But then again, you never wanted this to be popular or big. Which is unfortunate, with a little more support for the community this would be a fantastic mod, and probably the best biome mod yet.
TDWP, I've been adding support for this mod to my texturepack, and I was wondering if it would be possible for you to move the Cheery Blossom Grove by at least one pixel on the Humidity/Temperature scale. Right now it has the same temperature and humidity as the ocean and river biomes, so I wont be able to make that biome have pink leaves(for people using optifine) without also making rivers and oceans have pink leaves in the foliagecolor.png texture.
This looks great! Minecrafts default world generation has been getting more and more bland since the days of Alpha it seems, so this should add some much needed variety.
Also is it possible to edit the sky/water/foliage/grass colors of the new biomes? I'd like to add support to my little texture pack, but still keep those things within my color palette.
I like the chain around the second one, but the wood makes it looks kind of "cheap", like it's not a rare mob spawner. Maybe change the wood to gold, and keep the chains?
I'm pretty sure Optifine includes all of the newest MCPatcher's features, so you shouldn't be having problems.
Actually Optifine doesn't include everything, at least not properly. There's many custom color options that don't work, or don't work as intended. But as far as I'm aware the CTM is working correctly in Optifine (at least it has been in my own pack).
But you can make over thousand color combinations. You can't make a texture for every single one.
It wouldn't be a texture for each combination, we mean changing the default leather color from brown to a different hex number, and that would need the custom color mod to change.
No need for MCpatcher fix. I'm guessing either some texture makers raised their concerns, or they wanted to ensure leather armour was always distinguishable as leather, even if dyed diamond, gold or iron colours.
I'm very happy with this! Although I don't think we can change the default leather color without mods, at least we can make fancy armors still.
This is by far the most beautiful texture pack I've ever seen. I've been using it with More Creeps and Weirdos, and Mo's Creature Pack, along with many other mob addons to clutter my world with, and it is perfect. The colors and contrast you used are just so visually appealing, they just rest on the eyes so easily, every thing just looks really soft I guess. You did a good job on this work of art!
One thing that goes perfect with this texture pack is listening to Lemon Jelly and Devo lol. Not to mention I spent part of my first trip on shrooms playing with this texture pack which was full of happiness and all that good stuff lol.
@Andyhoi: Mine was doing that too when I downloaded it (Painterly too oddly enough). Just delete the one you downloaded from the texturepacks folder and grab it again Something got jiggled up in the download.
@OP: Absolutly Amazing. There are just no words to describe how much I love this! I just got painterly, and I'm already considering replacing it with yours Keep up the beautiful work! <3

Thank you, I'm glad you like it!
Hmm, I've never experienced that before, I'll try to figure out what's wrong.
Thank you
And thanks to everyone else commenting!
