I'm excited to see all the new stuff Jolified! After all these years Jolicraft is still my favorite Resource pack.
By the way, it looks like the opening post has messed up, I guess spoiler tags have been changed or removed. And a few of the signature images aren't working.

Jan 5, 2014Now that resource packs have terrain and item textures all separate, it is possible for Andre to put all the alternates into a folder and subfolders (such as a folder called stone, with all the stone alt textures), and then all the user would have to do is move the alt textures they want into the block or item folder. Also it could even be an "addon" resource pack similar to Sunny.Posted in: Resource Packs
Dec 28, 2013Awesome update! I didn't mention on the update before, but I really love the horse textures, they look amazing.Posted in: Resource Packs
I noticed the new saplings don't have joli seedlings yet, I hope you don't mind me trying to make the new ones. Here's some ingame shots, put next to the other seedlings as comparison.
sapling_acacia and sapling_roofed_oak
Also congratulations on the baby!

Sure! Although I haven't finished everything yet.

to be honest I don't think you shoud've changed the Dirt, Stone or Grass, they look quite dull compared to the originals...
Yeah I knew some people wouldn't like some of the changes, but I just honestly wasn't happy with the old textures.
Apr 4, 2013Hey guys, I updated, get the download here. Report any bugs you find! I haven't finished all the mobs still, and I didn't update the villagers to the new palette because I'm going to remake them as well, but I didn't want to hold the update back any longer.Posted in: WIP Resource Pack
Feb 15, 2013I've found a small problem with the Custom Colors mod. The custom redstone color, it fades correctly on the redstone texture itself, but the particles released from the redstone torch and the redstone do not fade correctly, they are all using the lowest redstone value. Here are some screenshots.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
This is how it appears in Optifine, the particles released are all the darkest value:
This is how it should look, and how it appears with MCPatcher:

Repeat should work, fixed is not implemented (to be added soon).
Alright thanks! I'm probably just using it wrong then.
Does the condensed CTM stuff work? Where I can just use one file instead of needing several block#.properties files. Or does it work differently than that, I'm not sure.Nevermind I figured this out, I think.
I do have a problem I'm not sure how to solve though. I have a custom texture for the nether fence, block113, and 4 random textures for nether bricks, terrain224. The problem is that nether fences use the nether brick texture by default, and the CTM for random nether bricks is overriding the CTM for a custom nether fence texture. Is there any way I can have random textures for the nether brick while still having a custom texture for nether fences?
Feb 1, 2013Currently using D1 Ultra, and it seems like some CTM stuff isn't working, or isn't up to date. I can't get the repeat method nor the fixed method to work.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Hey Cow are you gonna update this texture pack? I love it.
Yes, I have been working on the pack some more recently. But I'm going to redo many of the textures, some people may like it other people may not, but I wasn't happy with nearly all of the textures currently, so I wanted to try something new. It will of course stay cartoony, I'm just simplifying most textures and redoing some of the colors.
Jan 10, 2013They haven't really screwed anyone, in fact this change is really nice (although probably harder to keep track of all the textures when editing them). When minecraft updates with new items or blocks we wont have to wait for a texture pack to update before we can use it again, because now the new blocks will revert to the default texture if it's missing in the pack. Also we finally have vanilla support for HD textures, animated textures, and water/lava/fire/etc (though there's still some missing things like sky colors and whatnot).Posted in: Resource Packs
Dinnerbone posted a texture-pack unsticher, I haven't tried it myself, but it should convert the items and terrain into their new format. https://twitter.com/Dinnerbone/status/281796115647561728
There's also more information on the wiki http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Texture_Packs#Textures_for_Blocks_and_Items_in_Minecraft_1.5
Nov 6, 2012CowThing posted a message on [16x][1.4.2] Bevels! [Purple Nether Brick and Blinking Bows!]This is beautiful! Nice and simple with great colors. Great use of CTM as well.Posted in: Resource Packs
