posted a message on [1.8.8/9] Multiplayer Profiles
Mod isn't dead. Just don't have a developer to upgrade to all Forge versions.
    (1.9.x, 1.10.x, 1.11.x and 1.12.x, 1.13.x, 1.14.x, 1.15.x, 1.16.x) Note as of 3/20/20.

Multiplayer Profiles - 1.8.8-R1 has been released as of 12/12/15

    Supports 1.8.9 with Forge.

Multiplayer Profiles was created for the simplicity of organizing your server list(s) by copying and pasting hosted links inside the client-side mod.

    How does this mod work?
I’ve written a basic JSON encoded API where the server listings are hosted by me. Once you have copied and pasted the link(s) inside the client-side mod, this will decode the JSON encoded links and provide you a categorized listing.

    • Adding Profiles
      • Click on: Profiles
      • Click on: Add Profile
      • Add Profile
        • Type: Profile Name
        • Copy and Paste: Hosted Link(s)
        • You are able to hide address.
        • Click: Done

How did you come up with this mod?

I’ve played on servers before BungeeCord existed and personally, I was either adding all servers to the Multiplayer Listing or constantly editing the URL and trying to find an open server to connect to.

Other players would create a modified servers.dat file that would provide an updated list each and every time the network would add additional servers.

Since JSON encoding was widely used, I figured how about a solution to this problem and that was basically for networks to create their hosted listings automatically and provide the URL to their player base, thus making our “main multiplayer lists clean” and don’t have to download the servers.dat file each and every time.

I didn’t know Java and I talked to my friend jrtc27 and told him my concept idea and looked into the possibility of creating the mod and here we are today!

You can add individual links and/or all profiles link of the Multiplayer Profiles in the main area. Including anyone who creates their own custom based profiles.

Can you add all the Supercraftbrother servers?
    http://supercraftbrother.com
Here i made a list of the php server only 25 of them though
    http://bit.ly/19CrdA0

These have been added for some time now. Although there system seems odd. As it displays 2,000+ people on each server every time which usually means it's a Bungee Cord (or equivalent proxy) server that are combined.

    At any rate:

    http://justonemoreblock.org/LC/

Then click on the second in the lists.

MCSG got 50 more servers. Could you add us51-us76(us69 is a dev server so you could leave that one out) and eu51-eu75.

    Gracias in advancimos Cory :P

I've updated the listings for a few days ago for MCSG.

I do have a version for 1.6.1 - but they made things slightly complicated, Which is why in 1.6.x - Next release we'll be moving to ModLoader to make things a lot easier.

Installation (If you're using more than one Mod you can add this seamlessly with your other mods.) Once Magic Launcher and MultiMC has been updated updates should be easier.
    1.6.x and up
    1) Run the latest launcher and download 1.6.1
    2) Go to %appdata%/.minecraft/versions
    3) Copy the directory named 1.6.1 and paste as MPSP(you may name however you please, but everything must match) so there are now two copies.
    4) Enter new directory and rename the jar and json files to match the directory.
    5) Open the json file in your prefered Notepad program and

    change:

    "id": "1.6.1",

    to
    "id": "MPSP",

DO NOT EDIT 1.6.1 as it will replace it's been modded, every time.

    Mod Installation:
    1) Open: versions/MPSP/MPSP.jar and delete META-INF. (Leave Open)
    2) Open/Extract MultiPlayerProfiles-1.6.1-R1.zip and drag the files into MPSP.jar
    3) Close (Should save)
    4) Open New Launcher, make sure MPSP is loaded, If not:
    5) Edit Profile: Select, Release MPSP and Save profile.
    6) Click play and Multiplayer Profiles should now be loaded.

    Download:
    MediaFire: http://www.mediafire...shr6llarcn605ex
    Dropbox: https://dl.dropboxus...es-1.6.1-R1.zip
    Direct download: http://justonemorebl...es-1.6.1-R1.zip

NOTE: Until we switch to ModLoader, Forge compatibility has been removed, Sorry for the inconvenience.

None of the Fridge SG links are actually there, just so you know. :)

Yeah there site doesn't list them. I've messed up on the server anyway. I tested till a whole a bunch of servers didn't respond and stopped at 36. :) so now they're added.

    Thanks that helps alot
this helps me keep tabs on all US servers without clutter

How do u do this so i don't need to bug you about it?

The goal with this plugin is to have the servers who have a lot of servers is create a public server list in the format I've setup.

Notice: This is only an example and doesn't actually work!

The creator of MineZ would have to write a "Public Servers Listing" script and place it on their website; Therefore an example of this would be:

http://www.minez.net/publicservers.php (NOT A WORKING LINK AS OF THIS POST.)

Then you would copy and paste this link as you do now into your Minecraft Client.

At the moment this Mod is new, so servers are not going to know about it until I can contact them and allow it.

    Here's a post I created on MineZ Forums: http://www.minez.net/forum/m/7729648/viewthread/4687798-142-132-multiplayer-profiles/page/1

Go post and support the Mod and get other people too and more than likely they will proceed adding the support on the website to work with this plugin.

In the meantime You can use those public links like above; If you were to "Copy and Paste" the text and alter the names, hostname and use a dropbox service as we do and serve it as public and name them a *.json file; Grab the public link and have your own hosted public list from dropbox as these are not guaranteed to be always online.

Another solution is the same thing; just upload using http://pastie.org - Plain Text and once submitted grab the "Download Link" and use that.

    Cory

posted a message on Banned from IRC
    Hello,

Few days ago, I was banned from this IRC Server because of an apparent spamming. As the moderators may have thought I’m a spam bot – which I’m not. I was talking the night before to some people as I’m new to the server. I don’t break rules or at least intentionally, I’ve ran my own IRC Network and coded a few IRC Scripts – whereas since I use mIRC as a client, I had a few scripts loaded that I had forgot about as it was an inside joke within my own network. Since I no longer run my own IRC Server (right now) I haven’t open IRC for a few months, therefore that’s why I forgot about loaded scripts. I didn’t have any issue’s the night I joined – so I assumed it was off…then again the script is triggered by a very common phrase “lmao” – therefore whoever typed that trigger word, said the following (Posting for purposes):

Hello, $nick, you OWE me money! Pay Up: http://v3nom.net/pay.php?action=Pay&amount=$55.00

The $nick would say the trigger username in chat, therefore letting him know he/she owes me money and they need to pay up and mentioned the following website above that went to a specific PHP Script that auto-generated the amount upon the ‘random number’ at the end. That’s how the IRC and PHP script worked.

Few things, As mentioned before I forgot about the script being loaded in mIRC. This wasn’t created for this server it’s loaded and works on any server I would have joined, this was created as an inside joke on my own network. I don’t spam, I respect rules – I’m just a Mine Craft Player looking for some new people to talk too. The domain name above, I use to own and no longer own – Either has expired and available again and/or a big domain company has bought it. I’ve let the domain go about 2 years ago. Therefore this should show I wasn’t intentionally spamming or a bot. I simply refreshed IRC as I got disconnected (not banned or anything at the time) I was watching some YouTube Videos (Mine Craft related, no less) and then watch a TV Show on Netflix came back I was kicked for spamming and forgot about being in the IRC Room, but after scrolling up, I noticed I was banned for spamming because of the resulting messing I posted above – and didn’t think anything of it as I mentioned before I forgot about the script being loaded.

I have since ‘Unloaded’ and ‘Removed’ the script and any other scripts that may cause any issues. Once I’ve done that – I refreshed the IRC Server once again and I wasn’t banned – notice, I was not banned! – I think I was kicked or something, as I was on the same IP address. Therefore, once I joined I kindly replied to chat room and apologized and telling you the same thing I told you “I forgot about the scripts being loaded” – Then I attempted to get “Scotts” attention in the room so I can kindly instant message him and let him know the circumstances and that I’ve apologized to the room.

That didn’t happen after about 5 minutes being in the room, I was banned and this time said “Network Ban” and something like “Ban Evasion” – I didn’t evade anything? I just joined and connected and just assume I was able to correct the issue and I apologized on my own free will as I’m a nice person and tried to contact the moderator the banned me, so I can let him know too.

Then I changed IP as I’m on ADSL and I’m allowed to do that; Therefore not really a “Ban Evasion” just trying to “PM, Scott” to let him know what’s going on, but they just kept kicking me without hearing me out.

I’m currently joined now and I just want to be a member of the community and that is being part of the IRC Channel as well and I don’t want to be keep getting banned as I didn’t know that script was loaded. Therefore, I hope – you can ‘Unban Me’ completely – as I don’t normally get kicked or banned off anything.

As of now, IRC is no help, they just keep kicking me, so I’m resorting to this by posting here. If I’m “Evading a Ban” it’s being done because in the ‘Rules’ most issues have to be resolved in IRC anyway and since nobody is helping and I’m just keep getting banned every minute isn’t helping my cause none. I’m not a bad person, I feel I haven’t done anything wrong – just a simple forgotten mistake that did all this and a simple kick with a notice would of resolved this issue as I’ve mentioned numerous times, I forgot about the scripts being loaded and nobody wants to hear me out. So – Now, please take this under consideration and resolve this issue.

    Regards,
    Cory
