No problem. I did have problems with initial spawning, but after that it was a lot of fun!
First death was to a skeleton with a Punch bow, where I promptly lost a lot of stone tools.
Then I was killed by a Cave Spider from a Spawn Egg. Led to a false sense of security, then murdered me.
    So overall... I hate you.

XD I gave a fix for the spawning issue, but I am not sure if the mod is updated yet. Anyways, have fun :P

I'm playing this map at the moment, and I must say, I'm having an amazing time. Even if the map wants to kill me all the time. Thanks!

    Thanks chasmic :)

Are you planning on doing armor?

He's still working on it :) I believe his iron armor is almost complete. You can see it in this v25 or v26 of the pack.

    Feed The Beast

This mod is very popular, and I don't see many texture packs being compatible with it. I decided to make a template. This template is a zip file of the folders you need to add to a texture pack to make textures for the FTB mod pack. Some folders are merged, because it would be extraneous if you have two folders - plus your computer won't let you have two folders of the same name in one place.

Anyways, this template may be imperfect. If you experience any issues, please notify me immediately. It also contains the original 16x textures, so you may want to make an HD pack.

I highly recommend being very ambitious, because this mod pack contains more blocks than the original Minecraft itself! :steve_shocked:

FTB creates a new .minecraft folder, but I'm not entirely sure where to find it. This is important because that's where you need to drag your textures folder. If you drag it to the normal .minecraft, it will only work for vanilla, not FTB. If you know where it is, feel free to tell me.

The flicker is by design, and is so slight that I didn't expect anyone to really notice it. The dark blotches you are seeing might be the result of the way I've set up the lightmap. Basically I made the light drop off to darkness rapidly after light level 7, so that players can more easily see where they need to place torches to prevent hostile mob spawning. Is it annoying/ugly? I don't play the game enough anymore to have much of an opinion on it.

I don't have a donate button or anything. Should I set one up?

You can just make the light level constant until level 7. It may look better than the random darkness. Maybe you can add the effect at light level 3 or 2, because if you are branch mining and put torches on the top block, light level 3 the best place to put a torch. If you place torches on the ground, level 2 is the best place to put a torch (Because light is measured where your head is)

Yeah there are lots of things that need work.

I've actually been thinking a lot about starting work on FTB compatibility. Lots of people want it. It's just so much work. I might have to recruit some artists to be able to make it happen.

I can work for you :) If you are still thinking about it, I can PM you some textures I'd made. Plus, I need proper constructive criticism, especially from an experienced texture artist.

I think that is waaaaay too much of blaze rods in a single chest. And blaze rods are costy.

Personally, I think it depends on how long you are going to play this map. If it's just a complete-the-challenges, then yes it is too much. But, if someone is going to play for a while, then it's not enough.

Loving the new update :) I have decided to make a steampunk-based world, just like yours but in 99% vanilla survival. (I have to use MCpatcher or optifine, so it can't be 100% vanilla)

You should probably add some shadows or some more lines to your textures, to make it look a bit less plain. I think your cobblestone, flowers, and GUI is really nice. I would probably delete the outline for the cobble, though. You do have potential :)

You've got potential. The only problem I have is the stone. It looks rather flat, or maybe a bit plain. The sand does have a bit of a tiling issue, and if you want your gravel to look seamless, I suggest you remove the dark line. The diamond blends a bit too much with the stone.

other than that, I love your leaf, cobblestone, and planks. I would also love your sand, if it doesn't have a tiling issue. I think you should keep practicing, you'll get better, and learn a lot :)

The most common thing people don't add to their applications is more information. I want high-end applications.

Thank you for taking your time. I'll keep that in mind next time. :)

Everyone above this post is denied.

That sucks. Well, I'm glad you told me, so I don't have to wait forever to see if I was accepted or denied, or wonder if you read my application. Good luck to all of the future entries!

If it's not too much to ask, can you tell me what you don't like about my application? I'm looking for areas to improve :)
