the links to all the shaders packs (other than kuda/cuda) are either weird voodoo that are supposed to magically link to a topic here or are not actual links and are totally broken. also the mod hasnt been updated in a while, is it like going through a total overhaul or whats goin on?

hey guys, i found a slight bug thats been bugging me for a while with the shaders mod. when looking at your own player's reflection in water it is messed up and shown backwards. if my back faces a column of water, and i use f5 to see the reflection, i will see the front of my player. i should be seeing the back but that is not the case. i attached a screenshot for a better explanation.
oops should prob put down my specs: gpu is a Gigabyte amd radeon r7 250X 2gb gddr5, cpu is an amd fx-6300, 1080p screwed up off brand 32 inch tv for a monitor through HDMI and Windows 10 (it sucks so much ;~;). everything i think is probably important. maybe.
edit #2 because im retarded: this is the latest super shaders with DOF but no motion blur because motion blur is horrible and makes me sick
Jul 7, 2014Can this be used to fix a world corrupted by sudden shutdown? I fell in lava, raged, and shut off my PC hoping it wouldn't save my death. The world doesn't show up in the list of worlds anymore. I was playing FTB Monster on Linux.Posted in: Minecraft Tools

HELP! I think I followed everything right and I get no shadows!!!!
System specs please.

Jan 20, 2014Coroff posted a message on Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders [compatible with Minecraft 1.12.2 via OptiFine]Playing on Mac should work just fine, if you use the Linux version. The Linux version of Minecraft is just a .jar file that you use Java to open, not a .dmg or .exe. Try the Linux launcher and the Linux version of Forge.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Help! I installed this on my PC, but its slow so I wanted to try it on my MacAir but this is what i get:
Jan 19, 2014You can also wait for the modding API. That will fix everything for the user, with Mod ID's, mod conflicts, actually accurate mod bug reporting, and way more. Hopefully this mod will be compatible for it.Posted in: Minecraft Mods

Reporting my issue:
I don't think I even need a screenshot since it is so straightforward. Basically I just open my world. I choose the preview shader and it instantly makes minecraft stop responding. I tried selecting it in the menu and then opening the world but it still doesn't work. I have tried this with and without optifine. Both doesn't work for me.
My specs are:
System Model: HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5 CPU M 460 @ 2.53GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130828-1532)
Card name: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650
These were just dragged out of "dxdiag.exe"
Apparently, magic launcher does not allow me to copy the entire log, which is weird. I cleared the log a few times because minecraft forums didn't allow my post since it was too long. AND IT STILL DOESN'T LET ME POST THE LOG. wow mc forums i even put it under a spoiler. Well no log so i dont know if u can help fix my problem. And the final part.
I am using the preview version. 1.7.2 and Shaders mod core 2.3.1.
DirectX version doesn't matter, as all java applications (including Minecraft) use OpenGL. You have the same problem as me and many others, and yet no clear fix to it. I think running in a VM or JDK instead of JRE may work, but it's not easy for a common person to set thar kind of thing up, and you only have 4GB. You need at least 3GB to run it cleanly, and 3GB for the host OS, so VM is not an option, unless you are ready for the massive lag festival. The JDK is pretty much the same thing as the JRE, so it's not likely that it'll help. We'll just have to wait for some help from Sonic himself.

Help me out with this! Also sorry but i cant provide a crash report using magic launcher as you will see in the video. Anyway The specs for my Laptop are:
Processor: Pentium Dual-core CPU
Windows: Windows 7 Home Premium
Graphics Card: Mobile Intel 4 series express chipset Family
I hope that's enough... just tell me if it isn't.
Also in the video I highlight a core shader mod for 1.6.4, just ignore that, i didn't actually use it :3
You have the same issue as me, except I use Ubuntu instead of Windows 7. Minecraft, Ubuntu, Forge, and Java don't give any errors for me though. Try entering the world before enabling a shaderpack.

My game doesn't run the shaders! Just stay lagging and i cannot play, my video card is a Asus Nvidia GTX 770.
If you have a 770, than you're GPU is not the issue at all. What CPU?
Jan 19, 2014My Intel card ran the shaders just fine(30-45 fps), but only with Rudo Plays and when NO chunks are loaded. I got around 15 fps when running with a 2 chunks render distance back when I still used Windows 8. Now, on Ubuntu, the game will just crash using any shaderpack (only because I've cluttered it up with indie games)Posted in: Minecraft Mods

I FOUND THE FIX! Get the NVIDIA driver (latest one) of the website.
Now right click on minecraft and set the Run with Graphics Processor to High Performance NVIDIA.
Uhh, not every one has an NVidia card. I use Intel Integrated 4000 on Ubuntu so that wouldn't be a total fix for everyone who is etting errors and crashes.

Mobile GPUs are not enough for Shaders Mod.
I've run them before at 60 fps by clearing some applications and making Minecraft only load 1 chunk. I can't do that now, and Ubuntu is getting confusing for me. I also want to see some ways I can clear up some RAM, and make the RAM act as a GPU because I have 4 GB of it.
Jan 19, 2014I always have this problem, and it happens with all of my shaders, including every single version of SEUS.I have 256 MB of integrated graphics, Intel i3, and a 1600x900 monitor. I allowed Minecraft 2500 MB of RAM out of the 4 GB in this computer. The laptop is a Toshiba Satelite with Ubuntu 13.10 installed after I got rid of Windows 8.The problem as i see it is that Minecraft closes with no warning (other than the complete stall) and sets the default shader back to Internal Shading. I have the Forge Beta installed, version10.12.0.1007 installed, which is a beta. No optifine installed, but I do have Rei's in there. I doubt that's the problem, though. Please help, and tell me if there is any more information that I need to give about this.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
